この魅力的なカントリーハウスは、シエナ県のCastelluccio di PienzaにあるOrcia Valleyの自然の芸術公園にあります。ここに3つのcomunesの境界があります：pienza、montepulcianoとchianciano。 castelluccioはかつてヴァル・ド・オルシアを支配し、北側の谷へのアクセスを制御するために建てられた重要な城でした。
農場は生物学的建築の規則に従って2009年に完全に修復されました。使用される材料はテラコッタ、石灰、木材、コルクです。加熱システムは、バイオマスおよび太陽熱燃料を使用する。

Amazing place in an amazing location

We had a fabulous 3 nights. The house is perfectly set up and well looked after. The yard is beautifully landscaped and the pool is amazing. Great location being only about 20 minutes from Montepulciano. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

House and grounds beautiful. Host , Franco, was warm, welcoming and helpful. Every member of the family wished the stay was longer. Highly recommend and would go back. The section of Tuscany was v incredibly beautiful

Heavenly farmhouse

We were so very grateful for the beauty of the house and surrounding property. Franco met us upon arrival and went over anything we needed to know. It is in a very rural area with a gravel road but that just added to the farmhouse charm. The olive oil from their farm is delicious. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the peaceful countryside and ability to get to surrounding villages/towns to explore.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed a week at the villa. Two couples so there was plenty of room. A perfect balance of modern convenience and old world charm. Our host, Franco, is responsive without being overbearing. Centrally located so much of Tuscany was an easy (and beautiful) drive. There is a couple kilometers of gravel road to reach the property so be prepared for a dusty car. Otherwise 5 stars!

A magical stay in a picture-book villa

We loved staying in Franco’s lovingly restored farmhouse. It’s in a gorgeous part of Tuscany, and everything about the place is well-thought out, comfortable, and beautiful. There were 9 of us, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It was private and quiet and yet fairly close to Montepulciano, so we went there for dinner several times. A car is necessary. Franco was an impeccable host. We can’t wait to come back!

A month in the country

We had a great time spending the month at La Grencaia. We were deep in the countryside at a beautiful location, yet close to all the beautiful small towns in Tuscany. Restaurants were nearby, markets on every day of the week and the beautiful grounds around the house, made the time spent at the house most relaxing, not to mention the great pool. Franco was so helpful and Carla baked us the most delicious cakes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Best Tuscany Stay Ever!!!!

Beautiful, authentic Tuscany Villa

Our family of 6 stayed for three nights at this lovely place. The owner made us feel very welcome and even brought over a freshly baked cake our first morning. It is in a very remote, private place near Montepulciano, and the drive provides breath taking views. Although it is off the beaten path, it is within 20-25 minutes of some very cute and quaint towns that also have amazing views. Pienza was one of our favorites. The villa itself is beautiful and well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The grounds also have beautiful flower gardens and vegetation surrounding the house. It is simply wonderful.

The Real Deal in Tuscany

This charming country home was a perfect getaway and so conveniently located to just about everything you would want to see in Tuscany. However, it is so very tucked away and quiet that you only hear the birds sing. We found a wonderful vineyard nearby, great restaurants, Montipulciano, LaFoce Gardens and so many other places to visit. And if you want to see the stars at night, just step outside into the fresh mountain air and see more stars than you could imagine! Franco and his wife were so friendly and treated us just like friends. If you are going to Tuscany, this is the house you want to rent, to feel like a pampered and authentic Tuscan!

Incredible Property with Amazing Views of the Countryside.

A group of six of us stayed in this incredible house for 5 days. We couldn't have asked for a better property to stay in while visiting Italy. The house has a great location in the countryside and is very close to Montepulciano. It has a great pool with great views!! All of the bedrooms and the rest of the house were exactly as described. We would absolutely rent this house again if we returned. The owners were very accommodating to us and even gave us an excellent recommendation of Marco who drove us around Tuscany for a day and took us to several different wineries. Anyone looking to stay in this region of Italy would not be disappointed in this home. Thanks again for letting us stay there.

Beautiful and authentic Tuscan villa, amazing views, and lovely ambience.

Such beautiful location, remote and picturesque, we couldn't have hoped for anywhere more lovely to spend a week in. The house is decorated and kept to a really high standard, immaculate and complimentary to the surroundings, the photos don't really do it justice. We were two families with young children, and we all had a great time with the pool, the gardens to wander around, tomatoes to pick, and a great kitchen for cooking. Franco brought us fresh vegetables, and even a home baked cake, which was most unexpected. We would really highly recommend visiting, and hope to ourselves as well one day.

Comme il est difficile de partir!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable dans une maison de (nos) rêves. Isolée dans la campagne (route d'accès non bitumée), bien située en Toscane, mais aussi de Pérouse et Assise (Ombrie), dans une nature magnifique la maison est très agréable et très belle. Attention, on y est si bien qu'il est parfois difficile de la quitter pour des activités plus culturelles!! Les propriétaires amoureux de leur maison sont présents quasi quotidiennement, vous reçoivent comme en famille et vous gâtent. Merci Carla, Isolina, Franco, ...A bientôt!
