This was our first trip abroad, we had no idea what to expect and Lisbon was our 3rd and final destination while in Europe. Property management could not have been more helpful. It was so nice to arrive to a comfortable well stocked well located residence. I could go on and on about the location and just everything about Travessa II. It couldn't have been more perfect!!

Very nice apartment in an excellent location. Many restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the castle, cathedral etc. Friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Appartement bien situé tout en étant calme où nous avons passé un bon séjour. Cependant, nous mettons un petit bémol sur l’équipement en vaisselle qui nous a semblé un peu trop limité.Merci à Carlos pour son accueil et ses conseils.Nous recommandons cette location.

LOVELY APARTMENT

The apartment is in a great quiet location. It is also beautifully furnished and fairly well equipped (just couldn't find a chopping board it is probably there somewhere!). The double bed is extremely uncomfortable. This is a hard, thin mattress without any support. A mattress topper would improve its comfort. There were only two pillows on a double bed and a very small blanket. I was cold and had no alternative but to put on my jumper when sleeping. This really let the apartment down.

Traverse II

Located in Alfama area (old section of town) close to train, metro, market, restaurants. Was there during elections and soccer playoffs yet it was a quiet location. Was met for check-in and provided any information I could need and Paula was always available to help with transportation needs etc. Much appreciated.

Great place and very convenient location

Hot water was not working when we arrived but Paula was extremely responsive and had someone out to fix it is less than an hour.

Tucked into residential neighborhood

Lovely apartment in historic neighborhood. Shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to great public transportation. Hosts were helpful with restaurant and sightseeing ideas. After long busy days sightseeing it was nice to retreat to our quiet little neighborhood!

Great Place Near the Water

It was very clean and had all the essentials. Check-in was super easy. The location is great - I. Walking distance to several must see tourist sites. Plenty of choices for restaurants. Nice and close to boardwalk.

Cosy Alfama Retreat

Perfect stay in Lisbon's perfect neighborhood

The apartment is well provisioned with a full kitchen, laundry, living room and 2 bedrooms. The location is off the main streets, well lit and quiet. Alfama is the perfect neighborhood to start your exploration of Lisbon. Restaurants, cafe's and Fado are only steps away from your door. Wine shops and small grocery stores make staying in as convenient as going out. This is the place to stay.

The property was easy to find, very central to everything and within easy walking of many attractions in Lisboa. Very interesting neighbourhood with lots of little shops and plenty of eateries, All went well and our stay was very enjoyable.

Lovely apartment in Alfama

We loved our stay in Alfama in this apartment. It was a charming, clean place just off Rua Dos Remedios with tons of cafes, restaurants, shops and amazing Fado. It's very close to the train/metro station too, though down a steep hill. The A/C worked well and the apartment had all the necessities. We came with my 83 year old mother who is pretty tough, but I'd say location is maybe not ideal for older travelers because of the hills, stone walkways and the many steps up to the second (first - European) floor.

Heart of Alfama

The property really is at the heart of historic Alfama and is the perfect base from which to explore everything Lisbon has to offer. The apartment is well equipped, surrounded by bars and restaurants yet quiet at night. Lots of communication with the owners and Joyce their local representative who gave us recommendations and info and was always available to answer any questions. We had a great time!

Zentral gelegen, gut eingerichtet

Mitten in Alfama gelegen. In ruhiger Lage, dafür wenig direktes Sonnenlicht. Alles was man braucht (Lebensmittel, Restaurants, Verkehrsanbindung) in 2-3 Minuten fussläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zugang über Türcode hat es uns erleichtert spät anzureisen und zeitig anzureisen. Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Gerne mal wieder.

Perfect location

This location is accessible to everything. The host was very helpful in providing recommendations which we adhered to. Absolutely would stay here again. Note: my friend and I had very different experiences with cab drivers and how close to the apartment they dropped us off. Be prepared to carry your luggage up a hill.

Amazing!

This apartment is a masterpiece, I and my family just loved it. Pros: location, cleanliness, ammenities, decoration Cons: wifi did not work in the bedrooms. I wish I will come back soon.

Tout était excellent dans cet appartement

Nous étions 4 : deux enfants et deux adultes. Cet appartement convenait parfaitement, tant pour l’accueil que pour la propreté des lieux. La location de lappartement était parfaite. Nous y reviendrons !

Lisbon experience

We had a great stay, thank you very much! The apartment was very well maintained, its location was good, tram, bus, trains, shops an restaurants - everything just few minutes from the house. The hosts were very kind a caring, we got a lot of useful tips, the organization of out arrival/departure was wery smooth, they helped us even with the car rental. It was very nice to find a water, sweets and a bottle of local wine (which was delicious) in a fridge, especially after 12 hours journey. Even though we did not cook, the kitchen was very well equiped, it was pleasant to be provided with tea, chocolate and coffee for the morning start. Lisbon itself is an amazing place, we enjoyed it very much. I hope we will come again!
