This fantastic typical mallorcan house located at Algaida village, welcomes 8 guests.
Welcome to this wonderful house with a private 7m x 3m chlorine swimming pool, with a depth ranging from 0.90m to 1.50m and an external shower. Beside it, a fantastic terrace with a barbecue, ideal to prepare a delicious meal to enjoy with your loved ones. The location of the pool makes it perfect for sunbathing or enjoy the lovely mediterranean breeze in the afternoon. You can also pick up some tree fruits at the garden like loquats, oranges or lemons.

The property is divided in two floors. The mixed modern and typical majorcan decoration makes it so unique. It disposes of three living rooms, four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

At the main floor, a lively but comfortable living-room with satellite TV and an independent dining-room with access to an equipped gas kitchen with all the necessary amenities you might need to cook your favourite dishes. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. The house disposes of a washing room wish a washing machine, a dryer,, an iron and an iron board.

At the first floor, you will find two living rooms, one of them with a comfortable sofa and access to a terrace, and a second one that preserves the majorcan typical style. Three bedrooms, two of them with a double bed and a third with two single beds and a bathroom with a bath. If you travel with your baby, we will provide you a cot and a high chair, and two under request. All the bedrooms dispose of air conditioning, and there is a fan in the house as well as a radiator and a fireplace (pellet).

Algaida village is located at Pla de Mallorca, and is known for its wheat fields, peace and a wide gastronomic offer with lovely bars and restaurants where you will find delicious typical mallorcan food. For sports or trips lovers, we recommend to visit Randa, where you can do interesting routes like to Santuario de Cura, with its idyllic views. At 14 kilometers distance you can go and play golf to Son Gual and Puntiró.

Through the M-15 motorway you will easily access to a lot of beaches and coves, like s'Arenal beach or Cala Blava cove or Palma city known for the legendary cathedral. if you drive to the south, you will get to the natural and lovely white sand and crystallized water Es Trenc and Es Carbó beaches. Mallorca is full of life in the summer nights, so don't forget to go out and have a drink!

Annual girls trip

Very authentic, the house,pool and surrounding area very clean. It was a very peaceful, relaxing holiday. There are not many restaurants to choose from but pick wisley and they are very ggod. The owner came every other day to clean the pool and take rubbish away, always very helpful and thoughtful. We would definitely return.

Would definitely rebook if we return to Majorca

We were met by the owner who was friendly and happy to assist us throughout our stay. The house is in a rural area and reflects that. It is about 100m from the town square where you can find bars, food and cafes. It is a beautiful place to stay and is very misleading when you stand outside before opening the door as the house opens up into an hall and sitting area, then opens up further when walking into the garden and pool area! Very comfortable for our party of 7. The garden gets sun pretty much all day so the pool is very welcoming as it does get hot, hot, hot! We were able to go to a variety of areas including Palma, Magaluf, Alcudia and Porto Cristo as Algaida is quite central! Would definitely rebook if we return to Majorca and would highly recommend to others. Would recommend hiring a car as essential if you wish to explore.

Nice accommodation with swimming pool but some points to review

Beautiful house with spacious rooms. Very nice swimming pool. However, the kitchen is under-equipped for such a large house (no wine glasses, no dishwasher, etc.). We expect better when we pay so much for a rental. Other details are to be reviewed: the lack of double glazing for the windows from the street (noise), the wear and tear of the pool seats,... For such a high rental cost, we expect better.

Quintessential Spanish villa

If you want an authentic amazing Spanish holiday,this is the place for you.if you want the Instagram photogenic beautiful place,this isn't for you.it doesn't have fancy modern kitchenware and furniture,or a view over looking rolling hills. But it's charming,spacious and comfortable and outdoor area (pool and BBQ) was such a nice space to relax in. Whilst you aren't in one of those remote Mallorcan villas in the hills,I actually think it's good that you aren't.because for this villas, at the end of the street in walking distance is a quintessential spanish square,with cafes,bars,ice cream parlours and a bakery.so we would have a BBQ at home,then walk for a drink in the square at the end of the night - pure bliss. I see in other reviews people have mentioned a noisy road and damp issues-we went in mid September and we didn't have any of those issues. And the host is very attentive.

Good response to queries before the holiday. Good contact and information, but some links did not work well. Some of the data and information required was difficult to input and some unnecessary. Biggest issue was booking our return transfer to the airport. The online form did not allow us to put in a single journey from the villa to Palma airport. We tried calling and were given the wrong information on the phone. We ended up having to make four phone calls. It was a worry as we were not then sure whether our taxi would arrive to collect us to go to the airport - fortunately it did. The actual taxi service and car and driver were excellent, but arranging it was very problematic. The villa was not quite as expected. Rather basic interior with rough stone entrance hall and lounge floor. The second bathroom is only accessible from the outside, so not good at night or in bad weather. At first it only had cold water so the owner had to get that fixed. Garden furniture could do with updating - sunloungers only fixed for laying flat and could not sit up to read. We were only there for six days and there were only three of us, so we were fine but would not have been so happy staying longer with a bigger group. Very spacious but lacked some facilities. The location was excellent, people around the place were friendly and the owner was lovely and dealt with the cold water issue.

Prachtig huis

We hebben ons bij aankomst verbaast over het prachtige huis. Nog mooier dan op de foto’s. En super aardige eigenaren! Het is in een rustige plaats, maar met de auto kan je makkelijk overal heen. Zo groot is t eiland niet. Super vakantie gehad!
