The Apartment was super, perfect for my and my families needs. Cati was super friendly and helped in any way she could. Thank you :) If I was to give a negative point it would only be for the noisy neighbour apart from that, it was a super holiday.

Beach vacation with toddler - very basic appartment

The apartment was OK, although a few things could have been better. Pro's: very friendly and helpful communication with landlord Caty. She even let us check out late without charges because our flight left so late. They provided crib and high chair, which was super helpful to us. Place was clean. Con's: the door to the bedroom was creaky (which makes it very hard to sneek out of the room once your toddler finally fell asleep), the walls were extremely thin and the neighbor was so, so loud! She had a dog which barked (on the adjorning balkony!) all night long! The beach was further away than expected - 15 minutes to walk which can be quite long with a toddler in the heat. Took the car which came in extremely handy, that way it was only 2 minutes. Location in general was not a relaxed area, more like a shopping and party strip - not what we would pick again for a family vacation. We recommend a car in general, as the little stores all along the strip charge twice as much as a regular supermarket (Lidl was approx. 10 minutes by car). The apartment had only a glass coffee table inside, with sharp edges right at the height of our toddlers head. The foot pedal on the rubbish bin in the kitchen was broken, as well as the laundry rack on the balkony. Though there was nothing terribly wrong with it, for a family constellation we wouldn't book it again.

Great apartment, problem with check in!!

We arrived at 12:45am, the host had contacted us previously to find out arrival time so they could be there to meet us. When we arrived her number just rung out, we had my dad who is a pensioner with us so this was very stressful. We are lucky to have friends in the area, so after half an hour with no contact made our way there, I spent a very stressful hour on the phone to Vrbo who couldn’t reach the host either, the lady I spoke to told me she had checked availability at the Bellevue so we should self lodge there for the night and we would be refunded and hear from them in the morning if we had not heard from our host. We were taken to the Bellevue by our friend in his car, thankfully because when we arrived they said because it was after midnight they could not book us in, again very stressful!! After touring another 6 hotels, by this time 4am, we managed to get booked in to one thankfully!! We then heard from our host the following morning to say they had been at a family wedding and turned their phone off!! They could have just sent us the keysafe number in the first place and stopped all the stress!! When we did check in caty the host was most apologetic and very nice, she refunded our hotel stay and the apartment was lovely!! She also upgraded our 1 day car hire, however I think more compensation would have been appreciated due to stress caused!! We would not have been compensated had we not hired a car from them. I would stay again if given keysafe in advance.

Vacaciones en Alcudia

El piso no estaba mal, la ubicación malisima (bastante alejado de la playa),la entrada del apartamento sin apenas luz y en un callejon. La comunicación con la propiedad era fluida, sin problema.

Die Wohnung wurde noch am Tag unserer Ankunft renoviert, danach gelüftet und war sehr kalt ( Anfang April), die Decken waren klamm, die Heizlüfter in den Schlafzimmern nicht funktionsfähig, da sie nur mit einer Fernbedienung bedient werden können. Diese war nicht auffindbar und enthielt keine Batterien, nachdem der Vermieter sie auf einem Schrank entdeckt hatte. Es gab diesbezüglich auch keinerlei Informationen in der Wohnung. Eine Heizmöglichkeit im Wohnraum war nicht vorhanden. Die Temperatur betrug bei unserer Ankunft ca. 10 Grad. Im Warmwassertank war kein Wasser enthalten. Demnach gab es auch keinerlei warmes Wasser. Der Backofen funktionierte nicht. Die Vermieterin war unfreundlich, als sie bezüglich der extremen Mängel informiert wurde. Sie sprach nur gebrochen Englisch und kein Deutsch. Wir mussten aufgrund der Umstände in ein Hotel ziehen. Wir warten noch immer auf die Rückerstattung des Geldes.
