2018年11月に最近改装されたこの家には3つの部屋があり、各部屋にクイーンベッドがあり、バスルームには太陽熱（電気でバックアップされた）のお湯があります。 また、広々としたキッチン、小さなダイニングエリア、ケーブルテレビとインターネット付きのリビングルーム、洗濯機/乾燥機、ガゼボがあります。
改装には、新しいベッドとマットレス、新しい温水システム、新しいダイニングとリビングルームの家具、屋外の家具と除湿機を備えたガゼボが含まれます。
森、バナナ畑、果樹、緑豊かなエリアに囲まれ、平和と純粋さで知られています。
世界的に有名なモンテベルデ雲霧林保護区からわずか2キロメートル（1.3マイル）、サンタエレナから4キロメートル（2.5マイル）に位置しています。 いくつかのレストラン、コーヒーショップ、小さなスーパーマーケット、Friends（Quakers）Meeting House、有名なMonteverde Cheese Factoryが徒歩圏内にあります。

We had a great 5-day stay at this house. It’s in a wonderful location. The house has a lot of space, and several amenities (parking, outdoor space, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer). The shower was amazing— hot and great water pressure, which can be rare in this area. Daniela was a kind and helpful host. She quickly responded when i accidentally set off the security alarm (twice!). We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent communication from host. This lovely cottage in the forest was quiet and peaceful. Very spacious and clean. Forest animals and lots of nice birds are entertaining. This is a family friendly facility. Very close to Monteverde Reserve & Curi-Cancha Reserve and other excellent places for hiking in the forest and seeing wildlife. It is adjacent to the Friends school and with in walking distance of famous Stella's bakery and cafe and the cheese factory. Everything was in good condition. Interesting use of beautiful tropical woods. A vehicle is recommended / 4x4 not necessary in the dry season. Supermarkets in Santa Elena, 10 minutes away well stocked . Wifi reliable and fast.

Monte Verde exploring

The property was very neat and well kept. Other than not liking the coffee that they so generously provided and the pans being well used it was great. We would absolutely stay there again.

Great family visit to Monteverde

Clean and simple cabin very close to the Monteverde Reserve. We enjoyed sitting in the hammocks watching the birds and critters on the property.

Monteverde stay

The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and assisted us navigating the area and services. The washer and dryer were a plus. There were plenty of bathroom and kitchen supplies. The house was in a convenient location and we felt very safe.

Perfect reguge from which to explore Monteverde!

My partner and our two kids plus a friend amd their kid stayed here for two nights (I wish it could have been longer!) while we explored Monteverde. Everything about the reservation and stay were perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique house in monteverde. We really enjoyed sitting out in the hammocks listening to the birds sing and watching for agouti. I would definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to visit monteverde again.

Loved the location and Daniella is a fantastic host. We stayed 2 nights so a quick trip. The house is awesome with all the woodwork. Only setbacks is the couch is not comfortable and hard to lounge as the pillows don’t even stay in place. And not having smoke detectors in any bedrooms is concerning. But the house and property is great! Loved Monteverde!

Great private and peaceful location

We enjoyed staying at this quiet, peaceful location in the forest. The kitchen was well stocked and it was so helpful to have a washer and dryer. It’s a quick drive to Monteverde reserve and easy walk to cafe Stellas and other local shopping and coffee shop. I especially enjoyed time in the outside hammocks.

Spacious house on lovely property

This house is located just past town within walking distance to a handful of restaurants. It is very spacious and the property is also large, so it feels very private. The property manager was excellent.

Very private, beautiful location close to beautiful Monteverde!

We loved the cabin and the grounds! The home is cozy and well equipped with beautiful woodworking. It was wonderful to climb under some blankets in the cool weather of the zone and feel like you are right at home. We will be back!

We stayed in January 2026. Communication with Daniela, our hostess was great! She was very responsive both before and during our stay and provided recommendations for local restaurants and grocery. She met us at the property and explained what we needed to know, and gave us a fresh loaf of banana bread! 5/5 for Daniela! The property is as described, very private and surrounded by nature. We saw a few agouti during our 3 days stay, but because Monteverde is cool and usually windy, we didn’t sit outside. The kitchen is very well equipped, even had a blender, and the washer and dryer were very nice amenities to have. We all found the beds warm and comfy. There is a Whole Foods and cafe (Stella’s, highly recommend!) within walking distance which was great. Also of note is that there is a walking path on the left side of the road that takes you all the way into town. The one thing I will mention is that the furniture in the living room, while beautiful, is not at all comfortable. The cushions fall through and we ended up sitting at the table anytime we were inside. Adding a comfortable couch would be a huge plus in my opinion.

We stayed in five places during our trip and this was our favorite. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the kind host and carrot bread. The home itself was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The home is surrounded by beautiful trees and each morning we saw toucans in them.
