great place if you want the owner to share the house with you
My family and I arrived at the home around midnight on February 20th. We when we got there we could see that there were clothes on a clothes line. We thought it was odd but we were exhausted so we went to sleep. The next day we were gone all day until the evening. When we got back home I went out to the back yard and noticed that there was a dog toy. I hadn’t seen it when I was out on the back patio having coffee that morning so I thought that was also odd. On our last evening of the stay we arrived home around 10:00 p.m. and when my kids went upstairs to go to sleep they could hear the sound of a television. My son called me up and I also heard it coming from behind a door at the top of the stairs. I thought this door seemed kind of strange because it looked like a front door. I called out “Hello, is there someone in there?”. At first there was no response and so I called out a few more times and a male responded. I asked him who he was and why he was in the home when I was paying to rent the property. He said that he was the owner and that he could stay there because that was his own separate apartment. I told him he could not stay here while we were here and he said it would be fine. Meanwhile my son was able to contact his wife and she verified that it was her husband and that was their apartment and that it was fine if he stayed there. He left for a few hours and then returned that evening to the property The owner refused a refund
