Beautiful villa, everything you could wish for. Amazing pool and grounds. Very comfortable accommodation. Ideal for family and friends. Easy to access Puerto Pollensa and other places. Air con being on earlier in the evening eg 18.00 instead of 21.00 would make getting ready in the evening a lot easier...

Excellent place

Lovely house, extensive gardens. Perfectly located between Pollensa Town and the port. Really amazing service from the staff at Owl Properties. They were extremely efficient, very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this great property.

Lovely villa for a pool holiday

Great experience - we stayed for a week and were so relaxed. The hosts were very responsive when we had any issues or questions. The pool was perfect for us all and the bbq meant it was easy catering for a week. Thank you!

Lovely villa in great surroundings

We had a lovely stay in Villa Punta Magdalena. The little road is a bit hard to find, especially in the dark. The villa itself is very comfortable equipped though the beds and pillows could be a little bit more comfortable. The garden en swimming pool are superb and it was a real pleasure to sit out on the porch. The description and pictures are very accurate. We would certainly recommend this villa to our friends and family. We had a nice dinner in Porto Pollenca on the seaside and made a great walk in the mountains. We parked the car to Caimari and took the bus to the Lluc Sanctionary. From there we walked back to our car, well signed path and great views.

Fantastic Little Villa

We recently enjoyed a one week stay at the Villa Punta Magdalena. All of us enjoyed our time at the villa immensely, it was amazing value for money. I would firstly mention the owners who were brilliant throughout, they let us know they would be there for us without being pushy, but were right on it when we needed them. The villa itself we found to be clean and comfortable, if a little old fashioned and basic, there were definitely enough facilities to allow you to just camp in for the week should that be the holiday you are looking for. It's very handily directly in between Pollença and Puerto Pollença, though, as some have mentioned in previous reviews, both towns definitely require a committed walk. The pool is great fun for older(and much older) kids, again, it's clean and well maintained, the rest of the garden around the house is tidy and there is a table tennis table tucked away if that is your thing. The only slight negative is actually finding the turn off for the villa from the main road, it took us three days to work out we had to look for the noodle, even then, it's not the easiest to see, especially at night, but that's a very minor gripe after what was an excellent week using Punta Magdalena as the launching pad for everything we did.

Holiday

This property was advertised as having air conditioning in 3 bedroom but it was only in 2. Plus the lounge. It should have stated in advert that it was not suitable for anyone without a car. The beach was 1 hour walk and to the nearest shop 20 minutes. If you got the bus you had a 20 minutes walk to bus stop. It salsa stated it had a hammock but it was not there. We had a problem with the pool turning green so it was out of action for 2 day. We must praise Owl the company looking after the property as they sorted everything out, from broken sun beds, leaking taps, eventually the pool with help of the owners. . The Owners were lovely after all the trouble we had, but we do wish we had know it was so isolated without a car. Your company was not that helpful, because I did call asking for more information before we went but your representative did not have any idea how to give us any more information than what was on the description. I should think twice before we would book through your company again.

Nettes Häuschen an guter Lage

Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Häuschen hat Charakter. An der vielbefahrenen Hauptstrasse zwischen Pollença und Port de Pollença liegt es gut für Ausflüge in die Wanderwelt des Tramuntana Gebietes. Das nahe Pollença bietet viele gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Ort, um entspannte Ferien zu geniessen.

Maison simple avec piscine

La maison est propre et présente un cachet qui fait qu'on s'y sent bien. La clime est silencieuse dans la chambre parentale. La piscine est bien faite et peut être chauffée en cas de température "hivernale". Pour les points négatifs, on citera le bruit de la route principale densément fréquentée, très bien répercuté par la colline rocheuse qui la longe et l'accès périlleux la nuit depuis cette route; on citera aussi le confort inégal des lits (le lit parental est petit 140x190, fait cuvette au milieu et il manque une latte au sommier), mais on trouve deux lits individuels avec un bon matelas quasiment neuf qui, assemblés, forment un kingsize très acceptable... Et puis il y a les fourmis, qui viennent chaparder la nourriture sur la table extérieure pendant les repas et dans la poubelle de la cuisine. On regrettera aussi qu'une douche n'était pas utilisable parce que la porte était cassée (personne n'est venu réparer pendant notre séjour de 2 semaines) et que l'autre douche était difficile à utiliser en raison d'un écoulement peu efficace. Pour nous, aucun de ces défauts n'était assez envahissant pour gâcher nos vacances.

Die Finca war sehr sauber. Es war alles toll! Die Liegen könnten ausgetauscht werden( ein paar sind defekt) sonst alles top. Die Strasse ist sehr befahren und man hört wie bereits von anderen Gästen geschrieben die Autos vorbei fahren. Jedoch ist man schnell beim Einkaufen oder schnell am Meer was wieder ein Pluspunkt ist! ( mit Auto). Alles in allem super Finca und tolle Kommunikation mit Owl booking! Gerne wieder

Die Finka Punta Magdalena ist sehr schön. sie liegt etwas abseits der Straße in einem etwas verwilderten Garten mit Orangen-und Zitronenbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter hatte uns sogar extra einen Heizkörper aufgestellt. Was etwas gefehlt hat war Stauraum (Schränke) und Haken.

Authentic, Spanish holiday

We went in for one week in Easter holidays with our two kids 9 & 12. They loved the pool and the freedom of running around the large garden, the swing and ping pong as did we! It was great to not have to worry about other guests as the place is all yours and very private. The house has chrachter and everything you need and if you are looking for something differnt to the classic aprthotel then this is it. You need a car as there are lovely places to visit near by such as Pollenca old town and Alcudia. Owl bookings were only a phone call away if needed, very helpful and very friendly. Thank you we loved it.

The villa and the setting was perfect for our family of 6.

Everything about our stay in the villa was great, the scenery was beautiful and the pool was crystal clear. Our children's ages ranged from 5yrs to 16yrs and all 4 enjoyed the pool as much as us adults did. The villa itself was both clean and accommodating. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend the villa to any family.

Nice villa, but needs upgrading

We collected the key for the villa as directed and that was very straightforward. The villa is surrounded by a large area of land with orchards of fruit and flowering plants, but our first impressions were of slight disappointment. The villa is quite small, especially the kitchen which is tiny. The cooker is very old and the oven did not work well as the temperature setting is unclear and the knob would only turn on so far. This made cooking meals at the villa quite tricky but it won't be a problem if you plan on eating out every night. The living room/dining room was adequate for the four of us although we did find the throws on the couches slightly annoying to try to keep in place. Satellite signal on the TV wasn't great but we made do with DVD's. There is air-conditioning in the living room/dining which was great but only in two of the bedrooms which wasn't so good for my older son sleeping in the room with none. The beds in the twin and third bedroom are small so if your kids/other guests are over 5'10" they'll struggle with the size. The bathrooms were fine but there was very little hot water in the storage tank each day so we either had to take 5 min showers or spread them over the day. Also, it's worth pointing out that all water from taps/showers is salt water and undrinkable. The washing machine was in an outhouse and was in poor shape, but this was replaced with a new Samsung after we pointed it out to Owl Booking. There were a few wasps nests (which were cleared away by the owner) around the property and we did have quite a problem with wasps around the pool which may be because of the many flowering plants near the pool. We were very aware of them when in the pool and it was a little off-putting. The veranda outside the house was without doubt the best thing about the villa. It was spacious and had a lovely, cool breeze which was very relaxing. It is also worth pointing out that you will need a car if you are planning on going into Puerto Pollensa. It is not an easily walkable distance and there are no pavements for a substanial part of the main road. Owl booking was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay and the owner was pleasant, but I think for us, the villa was not worth the money we paid for our two week stay.
