Great spot! It has everything I needed, from laundry to the right sauce pans for dinner and breakfast. Even down to the provided coffee creamers, the details are in order. The gym is nice and helpful if you want to work off your DTLA dinner calories. The coffee shop, Ideology, is great, and right across the street, plus half a block from an excellent breakfast sandwich spot too. Doormen are friendly, and the host is responsive. This is our go-to first choice when headed to Crypto arena or convention center. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

Would love to rent again

Rented this property for a convention and it was one of the best ones I've rented thus far. Very short walk from the convention center, clean, friendly staff, quiet, and very comfortable. The massage chair was a highlight after a long day walking the convention center!

An excellent, clean, well appropriated apartment in walking distance to the conference I was attending at the convention center. The host was VERY available and helpful in navigation the not so obvious entrance into the parking structure and responding to my questions thru out my stay!

restful, quiet spot in the heart of downtown

The apartment is very nicely appointed, is comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is well-stocked and the pool and patio area is particularly inviting. Paula is easy to reach. Great place for our week's stay in LA!

Excellent location

Beautiful views, great location. Close to great restaurants and a legendary breakfast restaurant. All within walking distance. Great condo , great parking spots this condo has it all and more. Excellent communication with the owner. We had a great stay.

Cute place, walking distance to downtown core

We enjoyed our stay. Restaurants and amenities all nearby and walkable. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 5 day stay. Host was very easy to get ahold of with any questions or issues we had.

Downtown LA comfortable living!

PERFECT spot in DTLA for a couple. Clean and comfortable in a great, safe building. Parking is incredibly convenient. Will stay again!

Perfect townhouse near the Convention Center

Stayed here for a conference at the Convention Center. This is really the perfect place to stay in DTLA, close to everything. Clean, safe, stylish, and everything is provided. Love the massage chair! Everything is so easy with this rental. Paula is the perfect host and easy to communicate with. I am a repeat visitor and I will be sure to return next time I need to be in LA for a conference.

Great stay in a great location

We had a great stay at this interesting property in a fantastic location that was walkable to many things. The guests prior to us had left things in a less than ideal state, but our host made sure the room was well-prepared for us and did her best to address challenges the last guests' irresponsibility had left (e.g., not having enough keys).

Fantastic VRBO

Everything was top notch from communication with the owner, to check-in, cleanliness and amenities. If you are looking for a place a short walk to the convention center or Crypto Arena this unit is perfect. The unit was well equipped and there is 24 hour concierge in the lobby which gave me a sense of security as a single traveler.

For several years my family has worked with a humanitarian foundation supporting tribal schools with over 1,000 poor, abandoned, under-served, and stateless residential school children in Chiangmai and Maehongson province, Thailand near the Myanmar (Burma) border. Originally from Bangkok Thailand, I love it here in downtown LA as a second home away from home. Bangkok's original name in native Thai is called 'KrungThep'. It has the same meaning as Los Angeles - the 'City of Angels'. LA also shares a similar crazy traffic style (as in Bangkok), and has many wonderful Thai restaurants. I return to Thailand every year with friends and family for humanitarian projects so this loft is decorated with a taste of Thai spirit. I enjoy bringing back memories of the good deeds from the trips to share with fellow travelers. I am happy to share my 'Thai flare' décor with all of my guests, and hope you are enjoying your stay here with peace and comfort. Thank you for staying at the LUMA Loft on your LA vacation. Luma building - luxury condo/loft in the heart of the city. An easy walk to staples center, la live!, and the la convention center - where you will enjoy numerous restaurants, movie theaters, sporting events, live concerts, the grammy museum, espn zone, nokia plaza, the nokia theater and the combined jw marriott / ritz carlton residences property. There's a wonderful danish bakery right outside the front door as well as starbucks right around the corner, and restaurants in all directions. Aeg, (the sports & entertainment giant) has its new world headquarters right across the street in the historic desmond building. You can walk to the financial or fashion district, the historic core, or hop the metro to hollywood/universal studios or the long beach aquarium. A car is not necessary to get you here... You can take the flyaway bus from lax to union station and then either the metro line or a short taxi ride to the luma building. If you have a car while visiting, your personal covered parking for two vehicles is directly outside the unit. Hiking trails, universal studios, hollywood walk of fame and beautiful beaches are all a 20 minute drive. Disneyland and knott's berry farm are a 50 minute drive, and san diego's legoland, seaworld, balboa park, san diego zoo and sea port village are a just a two-hour drive. Our loft is located in a great area of downtown where you may encounter movie stars or filming on any given day. Luma is a leed-certified green building.

It is very easy for us to visit hollywood & thai town to enjoy authentic thai food and a genuine therapeutic thai massage. You can take the subway from our unit and enjoy no traffic... The blue line connects to the red line and you are on the way to hollywood and universal studios. The subway station from our condo is an easy walk down the street.
