Great Stay

We stayed at this place for a week. Gilles is a wonderful, gracious and responsive host. He was there to greet us in person, showed us the apartment and provided detailed instructions and guide to how to use the appliance in the apartment as well as recommendations for places to shop and eat in the neighborhood. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood, very close to old town, the ocean and all the attractions. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, very clean and organized. The kitchen is well equipped, just like the rest of the apartment, and has all the utensils and supplies that one would ever need.We highly recommend Gilles place and would definitely be back for a longer stay.

Great Location

This apartment is in fantastic location. It is close to Place Massena and Old Nice.Gilles was very helpful. He gave us a tour of the apartment and explained how everything worked. He is a great host with a very comfortable apartment.

Fantastic apartment

This apartment is exactly as advertised. From initial booking to our stay there, communication with the owner, Gilles was excellent. The location is brilliant. So convenient for the tram from the airport, the train station for day trips along the coast and all of the attractions of beautiful Nice!The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. We had a fantastic stay and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Nice. Thank you Gilles!

Fabulous Apartment in Perfect Location

We were attracted to the listing mainly by the ratings and the pictures, although we were prepared for a bit of a letdown as often happens when you see the actual apartment. That didn’t happen. Gilles was the perfect host from our initial email communications to his welcoming us at the apartment to his interest in our welfare throughout our stay and finally to his stopping by to say goodbye as we left. We’ve never had as good a host over our years of VRBO bookings. The apartment is exactly as described and as pristine as the photos in the listing; also, the location could not be better, with easy access to the Old Town, the Promenade, the train station and more. We stayed in the apartment for 24 nights and had a terrific vacation in large measure because of the accommodations and the hospitality we received.

Ironman world champs

I booked this place to participate in the Women’s Ironman World Championship. The place did not disappoint. It was exactly as described. Gille met us at the apartment during checkin to show us around the place and give tips on what to see/eat while staying in Nice. He was very professional and checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything. The apartment was less than 5 minute walk to the IM village and less than 10 minute walk to swim start/transition. We had a lovely stay. The apartment and city is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Nice Holiday

Wow! We just returned from Nice and Europe and can honestly say the Nice part of our holiday was outstanding! The communication and advice from Gilles was excellent from start to finish…he was super thorough upfront prior to arriving and walked us through the entire suite upon arrival…there was nothing that was not accounted for…Gilles even had the courtesy to see us off prior to our Uber arriving…If your looking for a central spot…5 minutes to the old town and water this is it. We trained it everywhere for 7 days, buy the weekly pass…great deal. The area and suite was really quiet, safe, but had a warm feeling to it. So if Nice is on your bucket list….inquire with Gilles,, he was amazing to deal with.

Comfortable stay/great location

Felt really comfortable here. Really nice clean space, great bed for good night's sleep, wonderful bathroom. The location couldn't be better! Oh, and super nice owner too!

One word... Incredible!

Location, location, location! First, when we arrived and our host Gilles was waiting and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment and explanation of the surrounding community. It was very apparent they made every attempt to make their place as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Second, EVERYTHING we needed was within a short walk! Other than airport transfers we never needed a car! Third, the apartment is on the ground floor! May not seem to be a big deal to most but in Nice, the older building may or may not have elevators and either way lifts and stairways are narrow and tiny! We were there for the Ironman World Championships and getting my bike and gear in and out was a breeze! Finally, out flight home did not depart until 7:30pm on the day we were to check out. Gilles quickly informed us we were allowed a late check out (5pm) and to not worry! He arrived just before to see us off and even help port our luggage to the car! This was our third trip to Nice and for future trips... we will definitely do everything we can to stay at "The 10." It's simply that incredible!!!

Amazing Stay!

Our family of four had such an amazing stay at Le 10! Gilles is an amazing host who really cares about his property and your stay. It was very comfortable for all of us. Great air conditioning and comfortable beds and pillows, plus a super convenient area. Gilles is very responsive and goes out of his way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We really hope to be back some day, and know where we will stay if we do! Merci Gilles!

Perfect apartment, best host!

This apartment was very clean, well-lit, spacious, comfortable, perfectly-located, and exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, beach towels were available and the bed was comfortable. Gilles was an amazing host! After a very long travel delay, we arrived extremely late and he graciously met us, welcomed us, and made sure we had what we needed. He was easily available by text and even provided guidance for us during our travel delay. Gilles provides a full booklet of information about Nice and the surrounding area. The apartment is centrally located with nearby parking, shops, boulangeries, markets, and the beach. We wish we could have stayed longer, and highly recommend staying here.

Great place!!

Great apartment in the heart of Nice!! Perfectly located with restaurants, grocery stares, coffee shops, and shopping within steps. Our host was the best, he has great suggestions for all sorts of stuff in Nice and also provided a binder full of useful info. The apartment has a great bed/pillows and was quiet, can be completely dark so makes for great sleep. Would highly recommend!!!

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of Nice. Gilles is the most amazing host nothing is too much trouble and always just a call or text away. Everything catered for. Comfy bed superb shower. Plentiful utensils in kitchen if you fancy cooking at home. Although with hundreds of resteraunts within easy walking distance why would you. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

This apartment is in a great location close to old town with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. Gilles thought of every detail, including extra blankets, providing thorough guides to the apartment and city, and even surprising us with a small bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. Very tidy and secure, definitely a great find!

Lovely apartment, congenial host

The apartment is immaculate and well-equipped. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated and quite lovely. The bedroom is large, the bed comfortable, the pillows perfect---not at all the hard lumps we've found so often in France, for some reason! Gilles is helpful, considerate and charming. The neighborhood is perfect--a short walk to the Promenade du Paillon, the Place Massena, the Vieux Ville and, of course, the Promenade des Anglais.

Nice la belle

Quelques jours à Nice pour profiter de la mer et du beau temps. Nous avons vraiment beaucoup apprécié la qualité de notre hébergement.En plus de l'amabilité et la disponibilité de notre hôte, l'ensemble de la prestation est excellent tout est fait pour que rien ne manque même les moindres détails. Situation et hôte parfait !

Merci encore à Gilles pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. L'appartement est idéalement situé dans l'hyper centre de Nice et très propre. Gilles a pensé à tout ce dont un voyageur a besoin, jusqu'au sac de courses et parapluie. Très concerné par la situation de ma compagne en fauteuil roulant, il nous a demandé à la fin du séjour comment il pouvait encore améliorer l'expérience quand on est PMR. Plus besoin de chercher une autre adresse, nous avons notre point de chute à Nice, nous reviendrons assurément.

Tolle Ferienwohnung und sehr netter Vermieter

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber und es ist alles da was man brauch: Föhn, Bügeleisen - & brett, Handtücher, Waschmaschine mit Trockner, Staubsauger und zum Kochen Öl und so weiter. Die Wohnung ist super modern und schön eingerichtet. Gilles war sehr engagiert uns einen schönen Aufenthalt möglich zu machen, sehr zuvorkommend. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Boulangerie sind direkt um die Ecke, die Innenstadt ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Zum Strand sind es etwa 10 Gehminuten. Das Schlafzimmer ist nicht zur Straße ausgerichtet, daher sehr ruhig und kein Lärm. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, und werden jederzeit wieder das Appartement wählen, wenn es wieder nach Nizza geht. Vielen Dank Gilles!

Wonderful Apartment in a Gorgeous City!

This apartment is exactly as described! Actually, it’s better than the description! The spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable apartment is centrally located. The owners have thought of every little detail in order to make your stay feel like you’re at home. The apartment is steps away from restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. The Nice Flower market and beach area are a mere 10 minute walk. There’s public (paid) parking all around the building. If shopping is your priority, then there are tons of options all around the apartment, with a 10-15 minute walk. Gilles has provided extraordinary service by meeting with us upon arrival, providing detailed information about the surrounding area, and anything else you may require. He also came to see us off the morning we left! We highly recommend staying here, and wished we had more time in this beautiful city!
