Perfect Getaway

The area offers so much history, culture, cuisine and nature, but it’s hard to resist the peacefulness, quality and views of the house alone. My friends and I can’t wait to return and I’m writing this just as we pass through the gate! We were a group of eight, with a couple of friends joining us from Athens for a day or two. The split levels, various lounge areas, beachside and poolside make for plenty of space. Paddle boards, pool floats, kayaks and more are provided to keep you entertained, too. One night we had Mrs. Stella prepare us a fantastic meal, she catered to specific requests and requirements in terms of allergies with ease. She also comes every lunchtime to tidy and clean, bringing hotel quality to the stay. The pool is cleaned and grounds maintained every few days, too. The nearby village, a short walk along the beach and up some steep steps, provides amenities and restaurants. We were in town during the low season, so these were only really open at the weekend. Nafplio, the incredible old capital of Greece, is a 20 min drive across the bay and is stunning.

Authentic and beautiful

We had a perfect vacation at the villa. It was spacious, well stocked and had views beyond our belief. The communication was great, walking distance to a charming town with friendly local people. We loved it! Our adoptive family of cats were precious, so sad to leave them. Thank you!!!

Tolles Objekt und sehr professioneller Vermieter

Wir waren zwei Wochen und haben jeden Tag genossen. Alles sehr sauber, hochwertige Einrichtung und tolles Design. Großer uns saurerer Pool. Genügend Platz für eine Gruppe von 10 Personen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Zusatzleistungen bucht man bessere selbst, da der Zuschlag des Vermieters ordentlich ist. Der ist der Service sehr umfangreich und der Vermieter war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Clean house, but

The house is clean and beautiful. As a modern design, there are a number of things that are less livable than a typical house. For example, it gets very hot in the morning sun even with AC on. The beach is quiet, with rarely more than a few people. The water gets deep quite quickly and is not as clear as part areas in Greece. I would not recommend for small children. The internet is dog slow, even after rebooting. It was too slow even to surf the web.

Designervilla mit Traumlage an der Ägäis

Ein in jedem Detail durchdachtes Traumhaus mit großzügiger und vollständiger Ausstattung erwartet die Gäste: Von der für jeden Raum individuell regelbaren Klimaanlage bis zum täglichen Reinigungsservice fehlt es an nichte, das für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt an der Küste erforderlich wäre. Die Schlafzimmer sind ruhig, Bettwäsche und Handtücher von bester Qualität und werden regelmäßig gewechselt. Die Küchenausstattung ist ebenfalls auf Profi Niveau uns lässt von Dampfgarer bis Weinklimaschrank nichts offen. Dionisis ist ein toller Gastgeber, der auch während des Aufenthaltes immer erreichbar ist und mit Tipps zu Ausflugszielen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants immer sofort zur Hand ist. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen: Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung und eines der besten Häuser in denen wir jemals Urlaub gemacht haben!

Do not miss this place

I have rented many homes all over the world and I can say without reservation this is far and away the very best. The home is as breathtaking as it appears. The location is about 30 minutes away from the small and charming city of Nafplio which can fulfill your need for souvenirs and history. That said, we fell in love with the local sea-side town of Astros. The local wine touring in Nemea is fun and the quality is excellent, who knew world class red wines can be found here. 2000 year old ruins dot every hill. The house itself is masterfully designed with a most amazing glass wall that slides open to give you a huge in door/out door space with view to the sea. Once you are there, it is hard to leave to go exploring. Every floor has a large comfortable bedroom with full bath. There are numerous comfortable spaces where people can co-exist yet have space to read, relax, meditate, etc. We did not use the pool much as there is a small rocky beach at the foot of the steps. What makes this place so over the top is that it is as well appointed as anyone's private home; from kitchen and bar stock and supplies to super comfortable beds, choices of firmness of your pillows, soft and fluffy linens and towels, wireless speakers for playing your own music or theirs, and gear for playing in the pool and sea. Dionysus, who also is the architect of this amazing space, was a great host, stocking the fridge with our grocery requests before our arrival, arranging for tours, hiring the amazing Stella to cook us our welcome dinner served on the patio, recommending travel destinations and restaurants and checking on us every day to make sure we were happy. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer to explore more of this lovely and growing region. It is well worth the detour from the better know islands to see this amazing side of Greece.

Amazing villa and Professional service

Our family recently returned from a week’s vacation at the Villa Starlett in Xiropigado, Greece. Although I have never written a review before, I feel compelled to share my experience and let anyone considering a vacation in this part of Greece know how wonderful Villa Starlett is and to highlight the excellent service we received from Blue Mosaic. We arrived with reserved expectations knowing that descriptions and photos on the web can often be misleading. Not so in this case. Villa Starlett was everything advertised and more. Every possible convenience had been thought of. The layout of the villa was perfect. Outside there is a wonderful terrace with fabulous views, where we spent most of our time, including dining when we dined at the Villa. The views from all rooms, balconies, and terraces are stunning – blue sea and Mediterranean greenery, trees and flowers. The private beach directly in front of the Villa has pebbles with fabulous, crystal clear and warm water. We dined in Nafplion, Xiropigado, Kiveri, and Tolo and all our meals were great, with beautiful views of the sea. The staff of Blue Mosaic could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were highly professional and committed to seeing we had a good vacation. For example, just in passing, we mentioned that it would be nice to have more shade around the pool seating area and to our surprise the very next morning they put up umbrellas around the pool area. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Starlett and Blue Mosaic.

Awesome villa!

Great vacation for the 6 of us in this beautiful villa by the sea! We enjoyed the warm welcome by Dyonisis, his many and good advices about what to do and visit around (Nafplio castle and old town, Argos market and castle, Mycenae and Epidorus ancient cities, a yachting day from Porto Heli to and around Spetses island, a morning kayak excursion along the coast of Xiropigado, a jump from Korinthus bridge over the canal...), all great times! The villa is gorgeous, brand new, fully equipped, air conditionned, designed and decorated with taste, beautiful view on Nafplio bay, direct access to the beach a few steps below, a very quiet place, daily cleaning, occasional cooking (thanks for offering this gorgeous moussaka meal) It's a beautiful villa and we all loved it, parents and 4 children, 14 to 22 We hope we can return in a near future! Thank you so much!
