Enjoyed our stay at Villa Mare

We had a lovely time in Gaeta, it's beaches are great! We enjoyed our stay in Villa Mare. We especially enjoyed the outside patio and the location was convenient to go to the beach with a sea view.Maria Rita was a great host.Will be back.

Great beach getaway

We chose Gaeta as a relaxing beach location to end our family trip in Italy. This home was perfect. Had a great yard for my young boys to run around in, very clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics you would need. If I ever come back I would definitely stay in this villa again.

Relaxing Vacation

A charming villa in a beautiful location with views of the sea. Lovely walled and gated gardens with parking. An outstanding covered outdoor space for relaxing and dining. Very responsive host with great recommendations for lunch. Ideal for couples or families.

Gaeta short break.

My family of 5 stayed at Maria’s home for 4 nights. The garden area is exceptional, with orange and lime trees a wood burning pizza stove was a lovely addition. The view is stunning, the sea at one side and the other view included watching goats on the mountain in the morning. The home had fresh bedding and all the appliances. Some of the kitchen cupboards had a musty smell as I think it hadn’t had any guests for a while with the summer season just starting.We walked to the local hotel a few minutes away and were allowed to use the beach after renting a beach lounger. Gaeta was stunning with shops and restaurants and had a lovely beach. We enjoyed being the only UK visitors, the locals were very friendly. Beware the shops close in the evening, we couldn’t buy water or milk and groceries past 10pm after a late arrival. We took the Gaeta train to Rome for a day. We had a lovely stay and felt looked after by Etta one of the owners.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus in Gaeta. Alles ist süss eingerichtet und mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Haus zeigt Spuren der intensiven Nutzung und des nur notwendigen Investierens. Das Meer ist theoretisch nur 3min zu Fuss erreichbar. Praktisch sollte man mit dem Auto 10min fahren, da es keinen Strandzugang gibt. Unterm Strich war es eine gute Erfahrung für den Preis.

Sehr schönes Haus mit großem Garten

Das Haus hat unserer Gruppe (3 Erwachsene und 3 Kleinkinder) sehr gut gefallen. Besonders der große Garten und die Nähe zum Strand und zu Klettergebieten (max ca 20min) ist toll. Wir waren Ende Februar dort, es war sehr ruhig in der Gegend. Zum Einkaufen benötigt man idealerweise ein Auto, es gibt aber gelegentlich auch Busse nach Gaeta und Sperlonga. Die Vermieter haben sich um kleinere Probleme am Haus sehr schnell gekümmert. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Relax

Location con grandi potenzialità per la tranquillità, l’obiettivo della vacanza era riposo e così è stato. La villa nel complesso è piacevole e offre le comodità che si vedono nelle foto. Gestori disponibili anche per consigli su come orientarsi per fruire meglio dei servizi per godersi la vacanza. Bisogna organizzare la discesa al mare, magari prenotando l’accesso con un hotel nelle vicinanze, altrimenti per le persone grandi diventa faticoso, ma non economico. Selezionare bene nei siti dedicati le recensioni dei ristoranti, alcune valutazioni sono generose. Non consiglio magia dei sapori, proprio scarso in scelta.

Great location near many beaches

We stayed here at the beginning of October and the weather was just perfect for a last swim. The house has been recently restored and everything is better than the pictures. 3 good sized bedrooms. The bathroom with the tub is now a shower. The sisters were great and very informative.

Bellissima

Ottima location tra Gaeta e Sperlonga che permette di esplorare entrambe le città e tutte le bellissime spiagge di quella zona. La location della casa è perfetta, soprattutto se ci si sposta con la macchina, quindi risulta molto facile anche tornare alla villa per il pranzo per poi ritornare al mare nel pomeriggio. Dal patio c'e una bellissima vista sul mare: uno spettacolo farci colazione la mattina. C'è anche una brace ed accanto, un tavolo grande di legno dove poter cenare. La proprietaria `e stata molto disponibile ed accomodante. Ho solo commenti positivi da fare su questa proprietà e mi auguro di tornarci l'anno prossimo.

Vacación inolvidable

En España decimos "Estar en la gloria" cuando nos encontramos en un lugar o con personas maravillosas. Si tuviera que definir nuestras vacaciones en Villa Mare con pocas palabras ésta es la expresión que usaría. Todo en estas vacaciones fue maravilloso. Desde el momento de la reserva hasta el triste momento de dejar la casa para regresar al trabajo. La Familia Di Ciaccio (sobre todo Maria Rita y Michela) hicieron el posible y casi lo imposible para hacernos trascurrir un periodo de paz y tranquilidad. Ellos saben cómo acoger los huéspedes de manera profesional pero con un trato personal y familiar. Y sobre todo dedicando muchos esfuerzos a que mi hijo, de dos años, se encontrara a gusto. Nos facilitaron una cuna con un colchón estupendo y una trona comodísima. Y me ayudaron con la logística de nuestra llegada que fue muy complicada por una serie de razones. Durante el periodo que hemos transcurrido en Villa Mare nos ayudaron y mimaron. Tanto que incluso nos sorprendieron un día con un plato de cocina típica de Gaeta que se llama "votapiatto", preparado por su padre. Mi hijo esta mañana se ha levantando diciendo "Mamà, volo la mare" (mamá quiero ir al mar). Ha pasado 15 días de total felicidad en Villa Mare y pienso que se acordará de estas vacaciones toda su vida. Como las recordaremos nosotros con tanto cariño. Nuestra intención es repetir el año que viene. Maria Rita, Michela, Etta ... ya lo sabéis.

Nice and cosy villa

Very good villa - a garden, a terrace, living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. 4 min walk down to the beach, 7 minutes by car to the center of Gaeta. Very clean and silent; all interiors are in new condition. Quite and with fantastic 360 degree panoramic view - sea and mountains. Super grill area - steaks, vino della casa and chatting till morning :) Silent neighbors and very friendly and helpful owners! Definitely recommended!

Angolo di paradiso

La casa è in posizione unica circondata dal verde e splendida vista del mare. Grande casa (6 posti letto) con bellissima veranda, giardino con alberi e fiori, barbeque, parcheggio. Padrone di casa molto gentili e disponibili. Si scenda in spiaggia in 5 minuti a piedi e si arriva all'incantevole città di Gaeta in 15 minuti.

Villetta molto comoda per poter andare al mare

Posizione invidiabile e strategica per muoversi in qualsiasi luogo di mare! Villetta in ottime condizioni,pulita,comoda e spaziosa,molto curata! Ariosa e con ampio giardino,molto tranquilla per un meritato relax! La consiglierei senz'altro a degli amici o a chiunque,mare meraviglioso e pulito,che non ha niente da invidiare a Sardegna o Puglia e quant'altro! Posto meritevole di essere Bandiera Blu,come una perla del Tirreno!
