Spectacular house overlooking a lovely town

We spent three nights in this beautiful home overlooking hondarribia and the ocean. Our host, Josean, was friendly and quick to respond to any question. He was able to get us a same day reservation at the Laia Erretigia, the number one steak restaurant in Europe. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need for a fun stay. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area. Thanks Josean!

Wonderful stay in Hondarribia

Our family - adults and teens - had a wonderful visit to San Sebastian, Biarritz and Hondarribia. The house is perfectly located for day trips, and the hosts couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Josean met us when we arrived, gave us recommendations for restaurants and shopping, and then answered many Whatsapp questions throughout our stay. So thankful that we found this house for our trip to Spain!

Great house in the mountains in the outskirts of Hondarribia

Very well equipped house, modern but in the style of Basque mountain homes, outside the town. Beautiful views of the town, the river, the sea and Hendaya beach in France. The owners are great and can recommend terrific places to eat. A dream vacations house. No complaints and we highly recommend it.

Magnificent

The house is beautiful and very well equipped. It felt like home. The setting and views are spectacular. We felt very comfortable and Maria made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Not only did Maria greet us with a warm welcome (and a few local delicacies), showed us through the house and how appliances worked etc., but she also provided lots of information on things to do in the area, best grocery stores, restaurant recommendations and directions to walk into town. She couldn’t have been more helpful or gracious a host. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the house and it’s surroundings. We will be back!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison spacieuse et fonctionnelle . L'équipement est complet il ne manque absolument rien. Une vue à couper le soufle et d'une propreté irréprochable. Très bonne situation géographie. Maria et José sont charmants.

What a view, what a place

We had a great week at Lexar. The situation is fantastic: great view, lovely pool, spotlessly clean and cool house which was perfect whatever the weather. And, importantly, very comfortable beds. Maria is a wonderful host and was very helpful with any questions we had including great recommendations for restaurants and pintxos in San Sebastian and Hondirribia.

Perfect home in a perfect location

This beautiful home is located in a perfect location Not only does it have spectacular world class views, there are so many beautiful destinations just a short drive away. We visited San Sebastian, Pamplona, St Jean de Luz, and Hendaye all on easy day trips. The home itself is very well appointed. The bedding, kitchenware, bathroom facilities, are all top quality. But the setting and grounds are what will bring us back to this gorgeous property. Finally, the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating with our every need. Highly recommend this property and I know we'll be back.

Incomparable view ...

... and a beautiful property. The house was spacious, immaculate and had everything anyone could possibly need. The pool was sparkling, set high atop a promontory overlooking Hondarribia, across to France and the vast beach of Hendaye. Trully breathtaking.

Wonderful views of Hondarribia

We were two families with 5 kids meeting for a long weekend to explore the Basque coast. The property was perfect for our large group. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. The views of the town below and France are truly spectacular. We enjoyed spectacular sunrises. The kids enjoued the pool while the adults sipped coffee on the large terrace. We were planning on spending most of our time in San Sebastian (About a 25 minute drive from the house) but found that we were drawn to the beaches and old town of Hondarribia. We all agreed that we needed more than a weekend to explore the area. Jose was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a few nice local snacks, gave us restaurant suggestions, and made sure we got to the supermarket before it closed. We didn’t hear from him the rest of the weekend until it was time to leave and he showed up at the door to check us out. The house does share a wall with the neighbor but we had no noise issues. We were a bit confused when we arrived as there are two driveways so know that it’s the house and path on the left. An excellent accommodation for our large group.

Casa preciosa en medio de la naturaleza, limpísima, muy amplia y muy moderna, con todas las comodidades posibles.
