We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful house in a quiet mountain neighborhood. There is every amenity you could possibly want. The owners are lovely people who were easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property.

I loved the comfortable front porch. The setting of the home in Cascade was a fun, quiet retreat. We took the road up pikes peak for the first time in a long time, enjoying that adventure immensely. Very nice getaway.

A beautiful place to relax and create memories... Felt comfortable among such beautiful surroundings... Cascade will take your breath away.. Besure to go on a jeep tour of the Garden of the Gods.. Visit The Caves of The Wind... And do not miss the Wolf Sanctuary... Then relax in this beautiful home and enjoy your surroundings. The location is perfect so you are not having to drive to far... Yet you do feel away from it all.

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Colorado, we really couldn’t ask for a better spot. The host answered all of our questions in as much depth as she could provide. We loved our time at Raphael’s Retreat and hope to be able to come back again!

This home is nestled in the peaceful hold between Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. Thirty minutes to the zoo, an hour to the casinos.

What a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect for my husband and I to get around to everything we had planned to do (Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak).The home was completely equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. The bed was very comfortable and the home was tucked in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood. The highlight of our vacation was sitting at the front porch table feeling the cool breeze, watching the trees gently swaying and enjoying the multitude of hummingbirds and all of their antics. (Even the hummingbird syrup was provided). The host was so welcoming and quickly responded to all of our questions. If you are looking for a refreshing and relaxing place to get away from it all, this is the place to stay.

We had a great time staying here. Location was convenient to everywhere we visited. Property was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Kitchen was sufficiently well-equipped and we were able to cook most of our meals there. Host was wonderful to work with.

Lovely home and neighborhood. Loved sitting on the front porch every morning and evening. The morning brought the dance of the hummingbirds with dozens to watch! Neighborhood was quiet with a park at the end of the street. The place was perfectly clean! Home is located just minutes from Highway 24 which seems to be the road to everything in the area. Minutes from Garden of the gods, Manitou springs, pikes peak, seven falls and Old Colorado springs. Several restaurants in the area with varying price ranges. The house is very comfortable with lovely decor and more space than I had anticipated. I can't say enough about how easy it was to communicate with the owners. I had more than one phone conversation with Sally and every email was answered promptly. I would highly recommend staying at this location for a perfect home away from home experience.

Fantastic location for the Pikes Peak Race. Came with co-workers for a few days and this rental had everything we needed. Great communication from the owner with all my questions prior to booking and through the rental weekend. Would stay again.

Raphael's Retreat is an amazing getaway. This was our second stay and it was even better than the first time. We stayed in April before (and loved it), and our recent September stay gave us warm, beautiful weather and coffee every morning with dozens of hummingbirds as entertainment. We have family in Colorado Springs and this is our number one choice whenever we come. BONUS: Walking distance to "Wines of Colorado" - amazing food and beautiful setting.

Lovely house among the pines

Lovely house among the pines. It quickly became my routine to drink my coffee on the porch, look at the trees, and enjoy the hummingbirds play. The historic house is lovingly maintained and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved this cottage. It was spacious and clean and we had everything we needed. It is in a quiet neighborhood in a wooded area. We loved being close to many hiking trails and Manitou Springs. It was the perfect getaway for my family. Sally sent us detailed instructions and the house had plenty of books, maps, and handouts to find activities ans hiking trails.

Comfy and homey

Everything was wonderful; all the little amenities that make a stay a "home away from home" was thought of. Central enough to drive to the sights we were interested in including on our vacation. Secluded in a quiet kind of way. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic views, very organized and clean, and close to many of the attractions! Was great watching the hummingbirds with the mountains in the background while drinking coffee on the patio. 🙂

Raphael’s Retreat is a magical stay!

What a great location to do all things Colorado! This home is in a terrific location just minutes to local attractions and everything you need. The home is a cozy and equipped with all you need for a great vacation. I have visited the area several times and will certainly try to book this location again in the future.
