Oasis close to the beach

This lovely 4-bedroom home was the perfect spot to stay with two families. The home has been well-maintained, with lovely built-in cabinets and hardwood floors. The fenced-in patio gave a sense of privacy for outdoor dining. The best part was the beach, only 4 houses away. Highly recommended.

Amazing Place

First time staying here and would definitely recommend! We had a great time on our vacation. The house is very spacious, great for large groups. Location was is a great spot close to the beach and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops.

the property was wonderful. location was great. bay and beach access was wonderful. all very close and in walking distance. plenty of great places close to visit. food was good at several restaurants we went to. beach can get a little crowded at times but still a wonderful time was had by all. thanks, my family had a wonderful time.

Wow! Spacious mid century home in perfect location. Close to Bay (steps away), ocean, excellent dining. The home was quiet and fences with indoor and outdoor privacy. Host was super responsive. I will stay here again!

Very nice!

The home was very nice and in a great location. It is a bit dated but pretty clean. We loved that we could walk to the beach and local restaurants. Overall I would give it a 4.8.

Really enjoyed the lay out of the house. Plenty of room to hang out, lots of seating. Comfortable rooms. Great location! Close to Pacific Beach restaurants and nice walking path around the bay.

We loved this place!

A great house in an amazing location! The house is bigger than expected, The back yard area huge. Loved being steps from the bay. Unfortunately, we were there during Hurricane Hillary so beach plans were canceled but had an amazing time playing board games and watching the storm roll in/out with no loss of power or any type of flooding. Lots of room. Tons of space. Huge bedrooms. Easy parking. And oh, the bedding was top notch! Only negative was no pepper left in the spices container. Haha We all decided we will book this spot again next time we want to reunite in San Diego. 100% recommend!

Great location!

Overall this place was great. You are a few steps to the sand of the bay and close walking distance to the ocean. It was nice not to have to jump in the car to go anywhere, everything was in walking distance. One thing I will say, the home needs some updating. The floors were very loud and creaky. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced, dining table was very sticky and unstable. The patio was great but would have loved it if there was a little fire pit to enjoy in the evenings. In general we really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious and super clean. Needs updating.

Although this rental met all our needs and was ultra clean, we were disappointed with the outdated kitchen and bathrooms. I feel using words such as "vintage" or "retro" to describe the kitchen and bathroom aesthetic would be appropriate. Also, the window screens were so old/rusted, we couldn't thoroughly enjoy the limited ocean view. On a more positive note we enjoyed the lovely and inviting side yard and the plentiful parking was teriffic.

Private proximity

Great property. Only a two houses from the beach, but no one walking by on the path staring in your front window. Really Ideal location. Plenty of space for a family almost too much for. A couple. Only problem was the persistent odor from from the kitchen sink drain. No mount of vinegar, or lemon lice could wash out whatever in the drain. I would return without hesitation

Excellent rental that suited our needs well!

We picked Crown Point house due to it's proximity to Mission Bay beach and four bedrooms. An old beach house nicely renovated and prepared for rental while maintaining some of the old charm of it's original style. Very clean house. Side yard is beautifully landscaped and makes for a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy. Property management was very responsive to any questions via text. We did leave some recommendations for improvement mostly due to the age of the property and were very minor. Main concerns were that we felt this is advertised as a beach property yet it does not include beach chairs/umbrella/beach toys/etc for visitors. Although there is plenty of parking available on the driveway, access is not permitted to the garage whereupon said beach supplies could be provided. The cost of this rental warrants nicer cookware. The pots/pans provided are bottom tier and too small for larger groups which was frustrating. These complaints are minor and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

West Briarfield

Large roomy 4 BR, 2 bath house only 3 doors from Mission Bay. Location was perfect for us as one of our sons, daughter-in-law and grandson live only a few blocks away and both of our grandchildren are less than 3. Yards in San Diego are very small in San Diego compared with what we are used to in upstate New York but this property has made maximum advantage of yard space it has. Besides the well maintained front yard there are 3 separate sunny or shady private gathering areas in the back yard. A real plus for a large group. Off street parking is ample which is important in San Diego. We would definitely consider renting this property for our next SanDiago visit.

Amazing location and house for children

The property was at an incredible location - basically beach front! It’s 1 story so was safe for the 4 young kids we had. Bluewater manages this and was extremely responsive. The pulley lock to the door broke and they came to fix it within a few hours. Things to beware of - it’s an older house with old things. The timer on the oven doesn’t work. The heater is sooooo loud you can hear all the pipes in the house working at night. There was a bit of a smell upon entering and I don’t know if it went away or we just got use to it. Floors are really creaky etc so as a light sleeper I wasn’t able to sleep through the night any of this week without waking a couple of times a night -but everything was bearable and the location made up for it.

Amazing Location and Cozy Home

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was extremely spacious and clean. The outdoor patio area was amazing to hang out at and take in the beautiful San Diego weather. Not to mention, the location was great - just steps from Mission Bay and less than 5 minute walk to both Mission and Pacific Beach! My family, friends and I truly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to be back. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful and responsive during the weekend there.

Incredible Location and Fantastic Amenities

Our family (3 adults, 1 adult child, 1 teenager), and my sister's family (2 adults, 1 adult child, 1 teenager) rented this amazing house for Thanksgiving week. My brother-in-law's family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) came to visit throughout the week and to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with us, and it never felt crowded. Everyone raved at the location (a few yards from the bay beach and a few blocks from the ocean beach), the space, the amenities, everything. The only minor complaints were about the wifi being a little slow (understandable with 9 people accessing it most of the time), the water pressure being a little low (mostly fixed by changing the shower head setting), and the ignition on the grill not working (fixed by using a small branch we found nearby). Nothing that we couldn't work around. We had everything we needed to have a fun and successful week, and the welcome gift set that was focused on Thanksgiving was really nice, too. Finally, the communication was great and responsive. We tried not to bother anyone, but when we did have a question, it was answered quickly. Overall, we were thrilled at everything the property had to offer, and we will absolutely rent this house again the next time we vacation in San Diego! Thanks for making it a great week!
