Villa Isabella with typical thatched roof, a small paradise! “pied dans l’eau” in the turquoise lagoon! Great for families or with friends. Also for a couple (we do propose prices for 1 – 4 people now!)
in short: 2 km of white sand, 180 ° view overlooking the turquoise lagoon, bird songs, extraordinary sunrises and moonrises, boat trips to the island Ile aux Cerfs, to the waterfalls, barbecues on the islands; deliciously prepared Mauritian meals by Devika; friendly owners! Here is what awaits you! Ideal for young and old.
The house is iat palmar beach next to Trou d’eau douce directly on the beach; it has a superficies of 190 m2 with 4 bedrooms for 9 to 11 people and 3 bathrooms. 2 double beds, 5 single beds, 1 bunk bed (2 people).
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also internet connection, wifi, baby cot, safe. Linens and towels are provided.
The service of the staff is included. Babysitters available (not included). Village centre is only 2 km, with many small shops. The Bank is 3 km and the next typical restaurant in the village at 1.6 km
Massages at the villa on request are possible.
Boat trip through from the villa to the Ile aux Cerfs and the Waterfalls of Riviére Sud est can be organised. In only 15 minutes by car you reach Flacq, a mostly Indian town for those who like shopping and it’s coulor full market; – There are some duty free shops along the coastal road like Boss and Polo for example. Airport transport upon demand Sport possible in the surrounding area: Windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing, Deep sea fishing g, famous golf courses, Mountain Biking / Cycling, Canoeing Horse riding, scuba diving, Casino. If you carry your own equipment you can kite directly from the villa.

Villa en déclin. Des travaux de rénovation seraient à faire

Maison sale, vaisselle à relaver, linge de lit et de toilette plein de taches de rouille, lave linge sans eau chaude, pas de table ni lampe de chevet dans deux chambres. Il n’y a qu’une chambre qui à la vue sur la mer. La note que l’on pourrait donner est de 3/5. La femme de ménage est très gentille mais peu efficace pour le ménage par contre bonne cuisinière

Un décor de carte postale en toute simplicité

Une localisation idéale sur la plage, très agréable, doublée d'un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant d'Isabelle et Bertrand dont il ne faut pas hésiter à suivre les recommandations notamment pour profiter de sorties fantastiques en bateau (grâce à Kevin et son hors bord). La présence discrète et l'amabilité de Devika favorisent encore plus la détente des hôtes et permet accessoirement de (re)découvrir les saveurs locales grâce à ses talents en cuisine créole et indienne. Le seul léger bémol peut se trouver dans la différence d'espace, de qualité et d'emplacement entre les 4 chambres, suivant la composition des occupants. Comme il est possible de le voir au travers des photos, 2 d'entre elles sont parfaites pour un couple (dont 1 vue mer) et 2 autres conviendront mieux à des célibataires, des enfants ou des adolescents. A noter aussi que le bas de la villa est également offert à la location (Studio Isabella, parfaitement indépendant et isolé). Mais, à l'Ile Maurice et particulièrement à Palmar Plage, la clé du succès du séjour se trouve à l’extérieur ! Et pour ça, la Villa Isabella avec sa terrasse et sa plage est parfaite, ...même sans piscine (pour celles et ceux qui hésiteraient).

Traumurlaub

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Isabella brachte uns zum ersten Mal auf die Insel Mauritius. Nach der gruselig langen Anreise wurden wir schon auf dem Weg vom Flughafen zur Villa mit wunderschöner Landschaft und atemberaubenden Ausblicken belohnt. Spätestens als wir auf einem Feld eine ganze Horde Affen entdeckten, war klar: das hier ist eine andere Welt! Die Villa liegt wie beschrieben direkt an der Lagune und gehört zu einer eingezäunten Wohnanlage unterschiedlicher Häuser, die zu unserer Urlaubszeit lange nicht alle bewohnt waren. Der unglaublich helle Strandsand sorgt dafür, dass das Wasser türkisblau leuchtet. Das Wasser ist kristallklar! Der Stand gehörte uns oft allein. Auf unseren Schnorcheltouren konnten wir jede Menge Fische und Seeigel entdecken. Das Rauschen der Wellen, die sich am vorgelagerten Riff brachen, war für uns Segler Musik in den Ohren. Die Villa bietet vier Appartements Platz, deren Anordnung so geschickt ist, dass man ohne Probleme seine Privatsphäre hat. Unsere Wohnung entsprach den Bildern im Internet. Sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll. Tatsächlich kann man vom Hof aus durch den Wohnbereich, über die Terrasse hinweg mühelos auf den Ozean gucken. Der Blick von der Terrasse lässt einen vergessen, ein spannendes Buch weiter zu lesen. So schön! Hier wehte immer ein erfrischender, manchmal auch kräftiger Wind. Das Appartement ließ sich wunderbar bewohnen. Es fehlte an nichts. Im Haushalt unterstützte uns die hilfsbereite und gutgelaunte Devika, die sich schnell in unseren Morgenrhythmus hinein dachte und Bäder, Böden, Küche und Terrasse reinigte, oder die Betten machte und und und. Welch ein Luxus! Im Gelände um die Villen konnte man täglich Nazims Arbeit bewundern, der außerdem kleinere Probleme, wie z.B. einen kaputten Wasserkocher, blitzschnell aus der Welt schaffte. Die Entscheidung für einen Mietwagen war unser Sicht goldrichtig. Man hat in Trou d'Eau Douce einige Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Der nächste große Supermarkt ist aber ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Vielen Dank, dass wir das Haus erst um 16.30Uhr verlassen mussten! Wir haben es bis zur letzten Minute genossen. Wir kommen gern einmal wieder!
