Fabulous place to stay in PCB!!!

Excellent Stay

Condo was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable and a great spacious patio. Beachside of the building could used cleaned or painted, but no fault to this condo.

Great 4th getaway

This was a great condo to spend 4th of July weekend. Fireworks right in front of our room. It got loud at times but overall it was great. Just a short walking distance to pineapple Willy’s. We will definitely book this room again!

Everything was wonderful, everything was in working order. The cleanliness not so much. Found a used towel in the bathroom, food still left on the kitchen counter and floors. Felt like the place was spot cleaned.

Beautiful stay at the beach!

The property we stayed with you was indeed a beautiful place to stay, with stunning views of the beach from our porch and bedroom. We only had two issues with the property. One was that the floor especially in the living room was not clean – with the drapes open you could see stains on the tile. The only other issue was that we did see some bugs, two different days in ocean-front bathroom and one day in the ocean-front bedroom. Other than these two things, we would have had 100% satisfactory stay on your property

Needed cleaning throughout the place and better tv service otherwise great place to stay!!

Very nice place, but was not clean. There was water bottles, shorts, and someone’s underwear still in the condo upon arrival. There was sand all over the floors and carpet as if it hadn’t been swept and vacuumed. The tv didn’t have many Chanels and signal was bad most of the time. Other wise it’s a great place to stay and has a perfect view of the water and right in the middle of all the activities and restaurants!

Great Location

We loved the location and the view from the 8th floor balcony. It had all the amenities that we needed. We were impressed with the cleanliness. After walking in the tile floor for just a few minutes the bottom of both of my kids feet were black. There was no cleaning chemicals so we had to go buy something to mop the floors with. Everything seems clean except the floors. After we mopped twice there were no more issues. We would definitely stay here again and actually hope to in the near future. But now we know to bring cleaning supplies with us just in case.

Cockroaches

Our first impression of Twin Palms condominiums was generally positive. We loved the parking garage under the condos. Great outdoor pool and hot tub. The unit was spacious, well equipped with cooking utensils and pleasantly decorated with the usual beach decor. The balcony was large and well equipped with great outdoor furniture. On arrival, we found dishes in the cupboard that had food particles on them, floors and carpet that were only spot cleaned, and cookware that was greasy. The toaster, air fryer, and sometimes the oven or stove set off the smoke detector. We discovered cockroaches crawling on the stove, adjacent counter top and inside the dishwasher. We killed cockroaches every day of our stay. We appreciated managements treating the unit 3 times during our month-long state, which did reduce the number of bugs but did not eliminate them. We soldiered through and took the necessary precautions when we returned home so as not to bring in the unwanted guests. Stay away unless you want to live with roaches for your stay

This was less than a vacation. For starters the floors are gross (not visibly) but yours and your child’s feet will be black if you don’t wear shoes. This place appears to be spot cleaned. THERE WERE ROACHES EVERYWHERE. I don’t know how any one in these reviews hasn’t seen any. There were roaches EVERY WHERE. It’s disgusting! I vacuumed with their useless vacuum twice a day to make sure no crumbs or anything were left on the floor because of roaches. I purchased way more cleaning supplies than I wanted to purchase just to make it livable. Lastly, our door was not sealed and during the tropical storm it was pouring rain inside our condo. We were told we would be given more towels to accommodate for us having to use every towel in that condo, but we’re never given more. So I spent the day after the tropical storm doing laundry so we had towels. They did end up fixing the door 2 days after the storm, so whoever stays here will have a perfectly sealed door so you and your roach buddies can sleep comfortably at night! Lastly, the maintenance man is rude and unprofessional. Will NEVER book here again. Save your money.. or spend more if you want an overall cleaner place and no roaches. I thought we spent enough to not have to deal with roaches. But who am I? Just an unhappy customer leaving a miserable review. Happy Vacationing!

Kinsey, we are sorry to read that you were not impressed with this studio unit in Village of South Walton. We would have been more than happy to try and resolve any issues that occurred had we been made aware during your stay, including changing the shower head and providing any needed kitchen supplies. Normally on the day of arrival, an email is sent at 2:00 p.m. that provides gate codes, door codes, parking information, etc. We unfortunately have no control over the parking at any property such as Village of South Walton. The pictures and descriptions online of units are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We will forward your message about the uncomfortable bed and pull out sofa to property managers so that they may review and assess these items and pass along the information to the owners. It would be their decision to replace such pieces. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

Don’t waste your money

When we arrived, we had to reach out to get information on how to check in because there was nothing provided at all. Upon arrival to the condo, we discovered that the floors were disgusting. The mop left was also disgusting and eroding away. The ceilings are stained and gross. Bath mats falling apart. We reached out to the property manager regarding the condition of the floors as well as a picture of our children’s black feet after a few hours walking on it. They said they were sending cleaners the next day but no one ever came by. Wondering what the big cleaning fee is for?? You’d think they would be more thorough with these things amid a pandemic but I guess not. Never booking here again.
