Thanks for your 5 star review. The weather was beautiful this September with many summer like days. We are glad you enjoyed the beach during the warm Fall weather. The private sandy beach, water frontage and the large private dock are some of our guests’ favorites. Glad to hear you enjoyed as well. We hope to host you again next season. Jayne & Wayne, Hosts

Thank you for the review of your recent stay at our beautiful cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee. We are pleased you enjoyed yourselves and intend to return next year. We encourage guest feedback as it helps us improve the guest experience offered. We were amazed by the number of fish you caught during your stay and are glad you released all that you caught back into the lake for future fisher men and women to catch again!

It is delightful to learn that the cottage was just as you expected it to be. It is important to us that our listing represents the cottage and what is offered accurately. We look forward to hosting you again when your travels take you back our way! Best, Jayne & Wayne Cottage Hosts

Thank you sharing your lake vacation experience at our beautiful cottage with other travelers. We are delighted to learn that your vacation was great. It was a fun week especially with the bear sighting!! Children are pleasantly surprised when they see the water trampoline and large play structure. We do not advertise this as an amenity since it is owned by our neighbor, who over the years has generously allowed our guests to enjoy. We hope to see you next season at the lake! Jayne & Wayne Cottage Owners

We are happy you enjoyed your stay at our waterfront home on Lake Winnipesaukee. We agree - the large screen porch is the best room in the house to relax, dine, play board games, hang, read and even sleep! Glad to hear you enjoyed swimming and lounging lakeside too. Thanks for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you next summer!

Thanks for sharing your experience with other travelers. We want our future guests to be delighted and have a clear understanding of what is offered and the experience they may expect. Detailed reviews, such as yours, are very helpful to new guests and gives them an understanding of whether the property suits their family or not. It is wonderful to know that you enjoyed the cottage this season as much as you have in the past few years that you have stayed with us! We look forward to hosting your family again next season for your 5th year! Jayne & Wayne Cottage Owners

We are happy to hear that you found the cottage neat and clean. We work very hard to keep the cottage in tip top shape! It is nice to know you were very comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor furniture and outdoor setting. It is very special and relaxing. Our guests typically spend most of their time outside in the yard, on the beach, or in the lake or in the beautiful screened in porch. It was our pleasure hosting you! We look forward to seeing you again in the future later in the fall when the leaves are changing. Have a wonderful winter! Jayne & Wayne Cottage Owners

Thanks for your review and most importantly we are glad you enjoyed your time at the lake. Exceeding our guests expectations is very important to us as hosts. The cottage is very private yet 5 minutes from shops, restaurants and area attractions. Our guests enjoy both their privacy and the convenience of being near everything! As mentioned the beach and the gradual sloping sandy waterfrontage is perfect for young children to play and swim. The private dock accommodates up to a 30' boat on either side. We look forward to hosting you again in 2025! Jayne & Wayne - Hosts

We are so happy to hear your second stay of the season was equally as good as your first visit earlier in the summer. The quality and experience of our guests is of the upmost importance to us. Guests can expect our cottage to be clean and outfitted to the level of comfort and convenience that we would expect. All guests receive a welcome basket upon arrival and an extensive listing of what's available in the area. We are glad you found this list helpful. Looking forward to seeing you again next summer! WOW! Thanks for sharing the details of your lake experience with us and everyone else on VRBO. As hosts, who personally work hard to make the cottage a very special place for our guests it is very rewarding to hear of your enjoyment with the cottage and the lake frontage and all that is offered. The fishing has been great this season and many of our guests have enjoyed the peace and quiet of our neighborhood. As you know the loons are the noisiest neighbors:) We are so fortunate to have so many repeat guests and happy you are making our cottage a tradition for your family. Looking forward to seeing you next spring! Wayne & Jayne, Cottage Owners & Hosts

We are so happy you enjoyed your week at our lovely cottage on Lake Winnie. The sandy private beach is perfect for young children with its sugar sand and gradual slope. The water temp in June is still a bit cold but the kids don't care! Many of the area attractions are within 10 to 60 minutes of the cottage and perfect for a day trip. Unfortunately some of the attractions are not open daily until later in the spring and closer to the summer season. However it appears you were able to visit a few of the fun attractions! Thanks for noting the peace and tranquility you experienced. The cottage is nicely situated directly on the lake with trees between the neighboring properties. While a down side of visiting in the spring and fall is that some of the area attractions and restaurants have limited hours, there is also less people in the area and on the lake during these seasons. We look forward to hosting you again! In the meantime safe travels! Best, Jayne & Wayne

We were happy to learn that you really enjoyed your stay at our cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee. The west facing large level grassy lawn , private sandy beach, 40' private dock and gradual sandy water frontage for swimming, boating, outdoor activities and relaxation has been enjoyed by many guests. Your constructive criticism and feedback is greatly appreciated and brings to our attention improvements and concerns we would otherwise not know about. The originality of this cottage is its charm. The kitchen is not large or modern and still has the original knotty pine cabinets. It is well stocked with all the appliances, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils needed for a week's stay and this does not leave much room for other items. At the end of this season we will review the items in the kitchen to be sure everything is necessary. Thanks for also bringing the leak in the fridge to our attention at check out as it allowed us to fix the problem before the next guest's arrival. Your review is the first time we have heard about the problem with the bathroom door. The door will be fixed upon the current's guest check out and before the next guest's arrival. Making sure our guests enjoy their vacations and exceeding our guest's expectations is very important to us. Our guest's honest feedback and their reviews help us to do this. Thanks again for your honesty and taking the time to write a review. Your feedback makes us better! We hope to see you again at the Lake sometime soon! Stay safe and well. Best, Jayne & Wayne Cottage Owners and Hosts

It is always wonderful to learn that a recent guest has enjoyed their stay! Thanks for sharing a bunch of the details in your review as this is quite helpful to other travelers. The new commercial grade washer and dryer has been a BIG hit and is much less expensive and much more convenient than running to the laundromat 10 minutes down the road. (though there is a dunkin' right next door:)). The washer and dryer cost $2.50 per load and quarters are needed. We also keep some on hand if you run out. Our reasoning behind metering the washer/dryer was to conserve electric and water and preserve our private septic system. We are already planning our improvements for next year which include redecorating and updating the great room furniture and sleeper sofas and upgrading the parking area. We look forward to hosting your lovely family in the future! Best, Jayne & Wayne, Cottage Hosts

We are so excited to see you back at the cottage in 2021!! Thanks for letting other travelers know about your experience. Best, Jayne & Wayne, Cottage Owners
