Perfect location and close to beach

We had an easy time with check in and Terry answered any questions we had. Location was perfect and under 5 minute walk to beach. Yard was cute and had everything you needed from a picnic table to grills. House was well furnished for anything you could need. We were 3 generations under 1 roof and never felt cramped for space Highly recommend.

A great vacation spot!

Loved the house. Room for all of us. Clean and nicely decorated. Love the outside shower, great to rinse off after a day at the beach. Everything is close by. Theresa is great to work with. Second stay under our belts and looking forward to a third!

it was great , first time doing this we definitely do it again !! House was a little small when everyone was trying to get in Kitchen , the bathrooms and bedrooms need some poles to hang things on in bedroom closet downstairs , the bathroom nothing to hang anything on except 1 small towel holder ! Other than that it was a nice place to stay !! looking forward to next vacation in Maine !!

Family vacation

Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Short walk to the beach made it easy with the grandkids. Only draw back were the mosquitoes in the yard so we were not able to picnic outside. Looking forward to next year!

Relaxing stay

The property was as expected and was a comfortable home for two families with young children. The bedrooms were a comfortable size and you could tell some recent improvements were made to the bathrooms and lovely outdoor shower. I liked that you could hear the ocean from the bedrooms. Some kitchen supplies could be upgraded. We forgot linens but a store in town had them for not too much. Overall a nice stay!

Great Location!

Short walk to the beach was very convenient. Moody Beach is a private beach, so we just enjoyed walks and jumping in the waves. No problem for us at all with the short drive to Wells Beach!

Amazing stay

This was a beautiful place so close to the beach! Perfect spot for a getaway! Clean and so adorable! We will be back again for sure!

Moody Beach

Moody beach is private, I didn’t realize that meant our only access was the public way which was quite small. I think that should be disclosed. House was great, clean and roomy.

Perfect vacation

Just returned from our second stay at the house and already can not wait to return next summer! The house is always clean, bright and well equipped. We were excited to see the additions of an outdoor shower and brand new fridge. Despite 2 full bathrooms, 4 adults were lined up for the outdoor shower all week! Check in and check out are seamless. Although we have yet to have an issue where communicating with Theresa is necessary, contact information is easily accessible. Most importantly - you CANNOT beat the location to Moody Beach, 2 minute walk.

Moody Beach Bliss

Going to Moody Beach is a long, loved family tradition. Staying at "The Cape" is the perfect getaway. The location is great for families as it is in walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the grocery store or seafood restaurants. It seems that each year we arrive, we notice some sort of improvement that has been made. You can see the care that is lovingly put into the cottage. We had a minor difficulty that was our fault but Terry was easy to get ahold of by telephone to solve our dilemma. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect beach house

The house is clearly well maintained and equipped with necessities. More than enough space for 6 adults comfortably. Light, bright and nice updates for a vacation home! Location is the best part- 2 minute walk to Moody Beach public way. Will definitely be back!

Perfect house!

My family and I really liked this house. There was plenty of room for all of us (7 total - 5 adults, 2 kids). The open floor plan of the kitchen & living room was excellent. Quick walk to the beach entrance way - also along a great street for early morning runs/walks. Moody beach is a private beach and some of the locals were a little territorial during high tide in the homes facing the water. Terry was a fantastic owner to deal with and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect house for a beach getaway! Very close walk to the beach with great living arrangements for multiple people. Very local to restaurants and grocery store.

The house is not very clean.

The house needs a good cleaning. The carpets a the back door need to be change. The living room rug to be cleaned. The housekeeping was not up to par at our arrival. Kleenex under a bed, pencil and earring under another. Missing bulbs in the lamps, no back door light. Positive point, the location very close to the beach.

Great stay at "The Cape"

Arrived to find "the Cape" in excellent condition, just as described. The walk to the beach was just minutes away. Plenty of room for 5 adults and two small children. The yard was a great play space and the grill and picnic table allowed us to enjoy dinners outside. Theresa was very helpful, quickly responded to reservation questions and available if we needed her upon arrival. It was a wonderful vacation experience and we plan on returning next season. Thank you!
