It was perfect for our stay. We were up for a softball tournament that was 20 minutes away. Had access to the lake and beautiful scenery! The property manager is very helpful and accommodating!

Nice long weekend visiting friends in the area

We enjoyed our stay. However, there should be anti-slip treads installed on the deck/ramp because my 86 year old father fell as a result of the overnight frost which made it slippery and dangerous.

Heat wave outside, cool inside!

Despite the blistering heat outside, we really enjoyed our stay. The 3 air conditioners kept us nice and cool. The lake was beautiful and we played the disc golf course across the street a couple of times. One of the reviews mentioned being able to see the awesome display of stars at night but we were unable to view them due to the spotlight in the yard being on…..so that was disappointing. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if in the area again

Everything was just as advertised. Very clean and quiet location. Conveniently close to area points of interest, including Corning, NY. My only recommendation is that you check with host to see if beds have been updated since our stay. As far as finding the site, when you get off the highway, there are three lanes leading back to properties. Take the "middle" one and the property is the first one you come to. We arrived at nearly dark and weren't super confident which lane to use. We would definitely use this site again.

Great place to stay

The property is beautiful and well kept. The furniture was a bit outdated but added to the charm. You are on a hill, and the views are breath taking. It was hard to find at first as the sign is very small and was a bit covered. Nice little fire pit. Lots in the area to do.

The property and hosts were excellent. The only thing we can think of is, the apt numbers were not easily visible. And, the GPS brought us to the lake side of the area. The house is across the street up a hill. If you choose to visit there, just pay mind to the address.

Quiet area

We drove past the entrance but it was easy to find after we turned around. The apartment was clean, kitchen ready and available, water pressure and temperature was great, quiet, peaceful, and the owner was nice. If we needed anything he was easy to reach and answered in a timely manner if he wasn’t available right away. There were restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I would stay here again. The only thing I wish it did have was a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Family visit

Location perfect. Very clean. It had everything we could have possible need. Beautiful view. The only draw back was the stairway. And I did not ask about stairs. Only assumed no stairs from the pictures. My handicapped brother was with me along with my spouse who has bad knees and hips. Otherwise, perfect.

Our go to place for our annual fishing trip

My family and friends have been renting apartments 2 & 3 for our annual fishing trip to the local lakes for about 5 years now. Each year the owner (Charlie) makes improvements to the property both inside and out. This year was no different from the new gravel in the driveway, the new entry door on apartment 3, to new wifi, and always very clean. It's just a convenient place for us to fish Cowanesque, Tioga and Hammond lakes. The fishing this year was tough because of the old weather and plenty of wind but we managed to catch a few. We'll return again next year.

Beautiful view!!

The apartment is dated but was clean and tidy. The full kitchen is stocked with most everything you might need. The Wi-Fi is strong and consistent. And the deck!! It’s a shared deck but I had plenty of time to myself to enjoy the view of the lake and sit in the sun and read. It is about 20 minutes from Tioga which is a quaint little town. I did find it hard to find a good place for dinner. I wound up inn Wellsboro, about 35 minutes away. There is a great restaurant there called The Steakhouse. Quality food and excellent service. Lots of hiking in and around the PA Grand Canyon and Tioga forest. A great stay. Highly recommend.

Directions signage

It was not easy finding the house up on a hill. The sign was duct tape to a tree. Once we got in the apartment it had a smell luckly I had Lysol. Who ever clean need to do a better job. Dusting, vacuum the floors getting the corners and dead flys and bugs.Wipe the window ledges too. Beside all of that my husband and I was alone.
