Nice location

The property is in a good location with the beach across the street. The property owner was very helpful and friendly and I like that the home has keyless entry. My only complain would be that to me the property smelled a little like a wet dog.

Clean and close to beach access

The condo was just like described. It was clean, and very comfortable. We did a girls only mini vacay, and was very satisfied with the condo. We all said we would stay there again. The beds were all comfortable and we all enjoyed sitting on balcony and watching the ocean. We also liked that we could just walk to the beach instead of having to load everything up and drive. Highly recommend this condo. The owner was very informative and kept in touch prior to arrival.

Great location, property, and owners!

Very easy reservantion process. The property was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Well stocked with kitchenware and new nice appliances. Great location! Great fishing pier right across the street. Everything was walking distance. Nice beach area and good food a short walk away. Great pool! Above all Carla (owner) was very welcoming and informative. She made herself available at all times for phone calls and text with any questions or need you may have. Really was a great experience!

Great weekend!

I was so happy that Carla was able to get back to me so quickly and within an hour we were at condo enjoying ourselves. This was a last minute trip and she was a great help. I literally got everything done while on my short drive from Pearalnd to Galveston! The room was the perfect size for my family and was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect right across the street from the beach and all the restaurants. Will definitely stay again soon! -Lisa

Awesome

My friends and I had a blast. The condo was awesome! It had everything we needed and it was right across from the beach which was great. Loved sitting on the balcony enjoying coffee and watching the waves. Everything is within walking distance of the condo which is so nice too since it cost to park everywhere. Carla is the best. She answered all of our questions and was available anytime we needed her. She is a very sweet lady. We will definitely be back!!!

Our stay at Casa Del Mar

Right off the bat we had trouble with the keypad-keyless entry. Even though the owner claimed to be available 24/7 I sent 3 texts and called 5 times and got no response. In fact I have never gotten a response from her. The condo is on the small side, but not bad at all on the inside. It has a nice outside patio (the condo is 2 floors up) that we spent most of our time on. We would not stay at this property again.

Great location

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff for check in. Once arriving to our unit It was very clean and well maintained, nicely decorated. The view from our condo was directly facing the beach with comfortable chairs on the balcony to enjoy the beach and sunset views. . Walking distance to restaurants as well as the beach across the street. Shopping is nearby as well. The owner was very pleasant to work with. She was readily available to answer any questions we had prior to arrival.Her description of the unit is exactly what has been noted and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future. I highly recommend this unit for any couple looking for a comfortable get away. Weekend Getaway

Property was clean, nice, & cozy. Located on the sea wall & close to everything. Pools were nice & relaxing. Carla was very helpful with information & just a text or phone call away! I would recommend this property!

Wow!

1) This property does NOT come with toilet paper. Seriously. 2) You must clean AND take your own trash to the dumpster before you leave, so basically housekeeping does the sheets and towels etc. even though you pay a “cleaning fee” you are asked to clean. So gross they don’t sterilize the dishes and stuff.. 3) Even though I SPECIFICALLY asked if BOTH pools were open, only 1 pool was open (I stayed the weekend before in another condo and the pool was closed only one was open and dangerously overcrowded, not to mention it was highly disgusting ) so the overcrowding and nastiness of the pool that was open, was so grosss! 4) The owner will remind you at least 10 times BEFORE you even arrive AND while your there, that checkout time is at 11. I’ve never felt so unwelcome. 5) The conversation about preventing “roaches” on at least 2 occasions, was highly inappropriate, considering how much I paid for this condo. Then seeing roach bait trays.. so gross! 6) There was no remote to the main TV as the owner informed me the guests before me took it, AFTER we arrived exhausted from traveling, but I was welcome to go to Walmart and purchase one(she would repay me) who wants to go to Walmart when they’re on vacation??

Perfect place to rent for going to the beach and few minutes from the Moody Gardens Rainforest and Aquarium.

Peaceful

I booked my trip after my husband’s passing. Just needed some peace. The condo was adorable and the patio was peaceful. Just what i needed. I drove to Jamaica Beach with an air mattress in the back of of my Ford escape and tried to heal my soul. Perfect. Thank you Carla

Won’t go back

The bedroom was smaller than expected and the head of the bed was not against a wall. Pillows kept falling off. The sliding glass door was off the track and the owner didn’t seem to care. She asked us to put it back but when we explained the rollers were broken, no response. We weren’t able to spend time on the patio for fear we would be blamed for it being broken. Our trip was great but next time we will stay somewhere else.

Galveston family vacation

Condo was smaller than expected and bunk beds are more suited for small kids not teenagers. My daughter slept on the couch, which she said was very comfortable. Sliding glass door was not working for balcony area.. Great ocean views from Condo and great pool! Property owner was very nice and was great about communicating with us when needed. Would recommend this property for 2 people rather than 4 but overall we had a great experience and the location is wonderful!

Great Escape!

The room was very cute and very clean! There were beach/pool toys to use in the closet. Nice view of the ocean and everyone had a spot to sleep comfortably. The air conditioner worked amazingly! Communication with the owner was easy, seems to be a very nice and professional woman!

Cute place

The condo was small but perfect for a family of 5 or smaller. I didn't particularly like that the condo had carpet. We really enjoyed the pool and being close to the beach. The bedroom got extra cold compared to the living room but it was nice to find 2 extra blankets in the bottom drawer in the bedroom. We had very noisy neighbors above and beside us. So that was a bummer. My daughter said at one point "Are they playing basketball up there?" Otherwise, we had a fun trip. Oh and the keyless entry was very nice not having to keep up with a key.

'Sanddancer Suite' - Unit #264 @ Casa Del Mar has
'Perfect Central' Location, Location, Location.
This is a 'PRIVATE' Condo that I own in the Casa Del Mar Seaside Suite. I bought it this summer & it is Fun, Fun, Fun.
I would love to have you come enjoy this 'Get-A-Way.
Walk the beach, kayak, surf, catamaran, fish, boogie board, sand walk, bird-watch, boat, jump the waves, pleasure pier, hike, JOG the SeaWall, Bike, visit Moody Mansion, Swim at Schlitterban, ZIPLINE at Moody Gardens, drive-by & see the beautiful million dollar BEACH HOUSES. And so much more. I love watching the Pelicans having fun gliding on the air currents diving for fish.
Dolphins are around, look for them.
This place is full of live.
Walk the beach and look for shells.
Eateries are everywhere. I am right next to GOLDEN CORRAL.
I RECOMMEND LOCAL PLACES LIKE:
BENO'S CAJUN FOOD.
CRAWDADS AND BEANS & RICE.
Hotel Galvez has a fantastic SPA & SALON. aLL SERVICES.
