Great Views

Amazing views on this property. Views of the Blackfoot River, a rock face w/big horn sheep, and the busiest hummingbird feeder that I have seen. This place was the perfect base camp for our family with lots of outdoor recreation surrounding us. The house is well furnished and the beds were super comfortable. The hosts were excellent, just good people who are sharing their spot. We hope to be back.

An Oasis

The title of oasis is as accurate as I’m able to describe this home. From the sheep navigating the sheer cliffs, river, garden, house - just incredible. I wish I had booked for longer, the kids already are asking to go back. So many hummingbirds that we had to (got to) refill the feeders twice in four days…. Owners are friendly and helpful. Bring your fly rod and binoculars. Highly recommend.

Lovely property

We enjoyed our stay with some family members. We were in town for a wedding. The house is comfortable, kitchen is well provisioned and the garden is amazing. Obviously a lot of love goes into caring for the property.

Perfection on The Blackfoot

My brother and I had a long weekend here and everything was as described and then some. The river was low, so we were able to wade out into the water and fish as much as we wanted. The fishing was great. Location is close enough to town to get in easily, but far enough away to feel really secluded. The scenic views from the house were amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. We caught a concert at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater and the location to that venue couldn’t be better. We were back to the house within minutes after the show was over. I can only hope that I can plan another trip to the area and stay here again. Trust me, you will love it!

Jeanie & Dale have done an incredible job with the home and the grounds! Conveniently located to both Missoula and the Kettlehouse Amphitheater. Interior is very well appointed with the most incredible views. The terraces leading down to the river have the most beautiful landscaping!! The deck w hot tub is perfect for relaxing! We loved staying here as did my Golden who swam 4 times a day. We will most definitely be back! Owners are so nice and helpful

Amazing home. Amazing vacation.

What a home to spend a week in! Extremely clean, great location, had all the amenities and lovely hosts. We would love to return to the gem. The 8 of us, 4 adults 4 teens had the best time during our week. Such a beautiful location with views to wake up to that made memories. Thank you, thank you.

Awesome Montana House

Great house, owners, and location for fly fishing, Glacier, exploring Missoula, hiking and so much more! Love the river view, AC, TV, Wifi, big windows, tables, hot tub, yard, humming birds….one of the best houses that we have stayed in through VRBO for Montana. Highly recommended!

Oasis on the river

We couldn’t have found a better place for a family get-a-way! The house was awesome. Plenty of room for everyone with a large kitchen and living room. Loved spending time on the large back deck. The property is stunning! Beautifully landscaped with easy access to the Blackfoot river. My niece had a great time fishing and my dogs loved wading in the river. We had such an enjoyable stay and made a memory that will last a lifetime.

Gorgeous property

This rental went above and beyond our expectations. It was extremely clean and well appointed. The landscaping was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed sitting down by the river watching folks drift by on their tubes and rafts. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Missoula area.

Blackfoot River Garden Paradise
