The host is friendly and very responsive. We easily located the cottage and had no trouble checking in. The cozy space had everything we need and abutted the marina. The golf cart was perfect for touring the island and the location of this quant home was exactly what we were looking for. There are restaurants, shops and kayaks to rent all in walking distance. Thank you David, for a great stay!

The Star Cottage was perfect for our first time to Baldhead Island. It was exactly what had been promised. Perfect location. Having the Golfcart really gave us a chance to discover the beauty of the island. Buying a pass at the BHI club was the perfect balance. Loved it! David is the ultimate host. We enjoyed are stay. Everything was as advertised The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything needed. The location was excellent. We enjoyed watching the marina and the golf cart made it easy to see everything on the island. The owner was great. Attention to details and response to questions was immediate. Amazing place to stay!

If you need to stay a few nights at Baldhead as a single or couple to get away or just to attend an event or a wedding, This is your place!! It has everything you need and close to everything and absolutely beautiful.

Fun intro to Bald Head Island

This was such a cozy and convenient cottage! It was stocked with everything we needed, including new beach chairs and a golf cart. The kitchenette was very useful and the location right at the marina worked great for us! The bed was comfy, too. The golf cart got a flat one day, and David had it fixed while we were on the beach and came to let us know! He was great to work with.

Lovely cottage

I was visiting BHI for the first time & by myself. Unfortunately the day I traveled in, it was rainy & cool, so it made the ferry ride challenging by myself.I was thrilled with the little cottage as it was the perfect size for a solo trip. Loved the location at the marina as it felt more like a neighborhood. The east beach was only a 15 minute golf cart ride & I got to see more of the island. Restaurants that I visited were only mediocre, but that's OK as the atmosphere was fun!

This is an amazing property in an awesome location. David was very responsive and was nice enough to call and let me know the cottage was available 3 hours early. It was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I would definitely rent this property again.

Great location.

Even though a golf cart comes with rental you don't need it, unless you want to explore, shop or use facilities not within walking distance. Otherwise you have 3 or 4 restaurants, ice cream shop, beach, Kayak rental, marsh side park with occasional events, all within a short walk. Or, Relax on your own porch and watch boats going in and out of the marina.

Bald Head Island Weekend

The location of this property is great within walking distance to the ferry. We loved the space with the small deck. The space was clean with plenty of kitchen equipment and towels. We would definitely stay here again!
