So accomodating!

The house was great, and the property managers went above and beyond in their accommodations. I will definitely be coming back again, and would highly consider any property managed by Lake Tahoe Accommodations!

very nice place

4 night stay for 5 couples. Home was as described. The only issue we had was the hot tub had a problem but it was addressed the next day. Excellent and easy communication with the property management.

Amazing home and magnificent views

Just perfect for our extended family! We had such a great time. There was plenty to do for varies family members of all ages. The house had everything for cooking and entertainment. The sleeping arrangements was just right for our extended family. The house was perfect! Stunning views!

Nice house for a get together

You get and return keys from an office in town which is a little inconvenient but not overly so. The house was great for hosting a large group of people. It’s a short drive to the lake, casinos, and other attractions but nothing is immediately nearby. House has lots on site to entertain as well.

Absolutely beautiful house

The house is massive and beautiful. We had an absolute blast. And it's nicely priced compared to similar size cabins (4k sq feet, three stories). My one and only complaint is that the A/C is not powerful enough to cool the whole house well in the summer. During the day it got pretty warm inside. But overall I would stay again in the fall, winter, or spring.

Really nice property! Great view! The only problem is the price! Add $300 “booking fee” and mandatory $400 cleaning fee, plus taxes, etc and the 4 day stay was nearly $4000! This is more than twice what we pay at Sea Ranch. I’d like to come again, but I’ll have to do some serious thinking!

nice location with great views.

Beautiful views. However, the furniture in all rooms needs to be updated. The place could also use a thorough cleaning. New carpets especially. Kitchen needs to be purged to leave space for guests to put their items/groceries. This place could be so much better with a bit of TLC.

Some problems at the house - no internet or tv upon arrival. A/c was not working.

Oven/microwave overheats and dryer did not work well. House is spacious and well-equipped.

Good

The house is a beautiful house with lots of space. There was some drainage issues the middle floor bathrooms did not drain well. And the bedding needed to be washed but other then that it was a great. Oh and the dryer needed to be turned on like 3 times to dry a load.

Great Spacious Property - in a great area, very close to everything

We had a great experience using this property. Communications with rental team was great. They are extremely responsive. We had an issue with the fire place and it was resolved the very next day. We would definitely return. We love movie nights as a family and we were able to enjoy a large 70+ inch along with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Awesome. Items to look at: Need more than 2 face towels per bedroom. At least in my family we use two per person. Get pool sticks fixed. Family play with one the entire stay. Thanks for having us.

AC Issues, otherwise great

The AC was not working when we checked in and it was very hot (August). I called Immediately and they indicated that they would send someone out the next morning by 9am. They never showed, and never called me to let me know why. I had to call back a few times and they finally agreed someone would come out the third day. They got it fixed and we had it running the third afternoon of our 4 night trip. But, then found out that the AC was only on the main level. The level with the 3/4 bedrooms does not have any AC and it did not cool down there. The listing didn’t indicate that. Normally I wouldn’t care too much about this but we specifically wanted a property with AC, and wouldn’t have chosen this property otherwise, as there were many others without AC that had better amenities for our family. Aside from this the property is nice, clean, and not too far from activities. They have us a bottle of wine at check in. Had a great time.

Big home with a view

It's a big home with plenty of space for multiple families. The main floor has a beautiful view. Kitchen and bathrooms are great , having three rooms with their own bathroom was a plus during our stay. We appreciated having access to Netflix and reliable Wi-fi. It was about a 20 minute drive to all our daily activities. There is only central AC on the main floor, it does NOT keep the entire house cool. The vents were actually closed in the master when we got there, which we later realized was because how cold it got in that room in order for the main living area to stay cool. There are no curtains or blinds to keep the sun out on the main floor. The middle floor is where all the rooms, except for the master, are located. They don't all have ceiling fans. The old white fans that plug into the walls had to be used, as you can imagine it was really warm down there to sleep. All the mattresses on that floor are hard and need to be replaced, especially the bunk beds. All the bed covers, except for the master, also need replacing. We made this stay work but will not be staying here again.

Great location, unhappy neighbors

Showed up to the home with 2 vehicles and the neighbor had called the sheriff within minutes of arrival. I Had not even unloaded the car yet to be greeted by a Sheriff deputy. Apparently if there are 6 or more registered complaints(unfounded or not) the owner is not allowed to rent it out for 6 months. The deputy then informed us that the rental company should not have rented to us anyhow and the use permits on the front of the house as well as inside were expired by 3 months. Also those permits only allowed for 12 people and not 14 as stated on the VRBO website. We were then told that we could not have 14 people stay there. As for the house, it's an excellent location but some of the sheets need washing as there were obvious signs of dirt and the house needs a thorough wipe down(some of the ceiling fan blades were caked up with old dust. Common bathroom shower on the middle floor was backing up so that was avoided being used as well. The beds on the middle floor are most definitely in need of replacement as they were extremely dated and uncomfortable. We are troopers and enjoyed the stay but constantly felt like we were walking on eggshells to avoid any further complaints from the neighbors. There were no late night parties, simply kids have fun throughout the day.

South Shore Lake Tahoe

We have been vacationing at South Shore (Lake Tahoe) for years (decades) and enjoyed this property immensely. It was clean, spacious and located in a beautiful area. It was convenient for our needs as to the areas we frequent. We had a little trouble with internet connection when we first arrived, but the issue was resolved quickly, and the service staff were very helpful and responsive. The dishwasher in the kitchen needs to be serviced. It did not always start. The one queen bed matress in the southeast corner (with an ensuite bathroom) was very uncomfortable. We used an inflatable air matters rather than the mattress provided. All other mattresses were fine. We strongly recommend this place.

Please update all the mattresses

The house was gorgeous and the amenities in the house were fabulous. We did have a friendly mouse that visited us in the master bedroom and one of the showers needs to be unclogged. My biggest complaint are the beds. For as large of a home as this was none of the beds were comfortable and one was not even a bed it was a futon. I feel that if I am spending this much money on a house for a week we need to be able to sleep comfortably. Sleep is important and I think the owner needs to spend some money updating the mattresses in all rooms. Everyone was fighting to sleep on the couches! We did our best to keep quiet for the neighbors and I hope they felt that we respected them. The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen and the downstairs bar was stocked with everything we could have ever asked for!
