Long-time Austin musician & 6th generation Texan in love w/ a former UT swim captain/builder who is continually updating & improving our home.

My band plays the early show at Elephant Room every Thursday. Jazz, Americana + Singer/Songwriter, in the vein of Norah Jones.

We care about creating a space that is peaceful, inviting, & inspiring for our guests and our own family and community. Our friends and creative community tends to gather here .We also care deeply about our guests being VERY considerate of our neighbors.

Location, location, location. I am an enthusiastic local guide, especially for live music, as I've been a member of the music community for many years. Our block is a dead end, surrounded by the park and the lake. very quiet at night. The trial out front is a 10-mile loop. Between our house and the lake is only park land with baseball fields. In the winter when the trees are bare, we have panoramic views of the water.

The neighborhood overflows with exciting new foodie restaurants, bars, and some of the best food trailers in Austin. Walk 1 mile to the Rainey Street district.

This is a very spacious family home with a lot of love and good energy. You'll know we live there, but not be overwhelmed by clutter or our belongings. High quality kitchen items.

Pool kept at 85 degrees, but we can heat it to 100 for a small fee. It's glorious. You'll sleep like a baby.

My front porch swing is my spiritual center. I love to listen to the countless species of birds announce themselves one by one as they wake up in the morning and to watch runners, cyclists, etc. go by on the trail from the swing. There is a lovely evening breeze off the lake most nights and excellent shade from the Pecan tree.

The front house and back apartment are available to rent individually, but larger groups love to have this option of this combination of the two. Together, but separate.

Kids, will love the playroom, x box, spiderweb swing and porch swing.

Time Out recently published a list of the 50 coolest neighborhoods IN THE WORLD and they put us - Holly, Austin as #24.

Getting around is easy. We are a very inexpensive Uber, Lyft to downtown, SOCO, Barton Springs, etc. There are plenty of scooters and bikes to rent in our neighborhood as well.
