First off, the condo itself and the amenities are great and as advertised. If you do not have kids, this is a great place to stay. However, we were frustrated by the strict community rules that impacted our family's enjoyment of the community amenities. A week before check in, we were provided with a long list of community rules. This isn't uncommon, but knowing these rules beforehand might have influenced our decision to rent a condo in this community. The rules included "no loud or boisterous ball playing is permitted in common areas" and "Running, jumping, and horseplay are not permitted in the pool area. nor is yelling, screaming, orboisterous behavior." Anyone who has kids between the ages of, oh, 3 and 18 knows that these rules will be difficult for them to follow. They're on vacation; they want to be loud and boisterous. You might think, sure, everyone has restrictive rules to protect themselves from egregious violations. But in this case, they were strictly enforced. Another family in our travelling party was given a written warning when their kids dared to play (not even with a ball, mind you) in the common area behind their condo. Our children (5 and 8 years old) were yelled at by an adult for playing in the driveway in front of our condo. Again, if you don't have children, none of these rules should concern you. I only leave this review for families to take into consideration how this might affect their enjoyment of the amenities in this community.
