Lovely cottage by the sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Tybee Island. We loved our view of the ocean from the patio. And loved the eclectic decor. Hope to come back to stay again.

Most interesting rental we’ve ever stayed in

The property was both eclectic and welcoming. We adored the location and the view. The condo was well stocked and perfect for a family of 4.

Nice location to watch the sunsets dolphins and the cargo ships going in and out. Only complaints are the beds were very uncomfortable and the biting bugs are a little bad due to the location

Enjoyable getaway

The stay was very nice. The layout of the rental was very nice. It could use a new couch and cushions on patio furniture. Garage parking for vehicles. Easy check-in. I was concerned about being at the mouth of the Savannah River and Atlantic O instead of “center or south” beaches of Tybee. My family enjoyed the quiet. The beach was never too crowded or noisy like other beach areas. We saw dolphins from the beach and balcony window everyday no matter what time of day it was. Cargo ships were seen going in/out of the port. Walking distance to a few places to eat ( Huc-a-poos is a must). Liked being between center of Tybee and Savannah. We would stay here again.

Awesome...Highly recommend

This place was exactly what we wanted. A place on the beach where we could watch the dolphins swim while drinking our coffee. Perfect layout for the 5 of us and it was just an awesome experience. I am telling all my friends about this place!

Wonderful !!

We had a great time and this unit is delightful in every way. The pictures are spot on and the condo is darling with a fabulous view of the beach, Savannah River with cargo vessels shipping in and out, and magical sunsets. Location is perfect in the quiet north end of the island with easy access to everything. Highly recommend this unit and we are already planning our next trip there.

GREAT VIEW!

Dolphins, dolphins, oh & did I mention dolphins. We were there in August & the bay was filled with them. We watched them from the balcony all day. Beach access was easy & pool was very nice. Condo was spacious & very clean, nice big frig & had all the cooking utensils, pans etc needed. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Great views

This eclectic styled condo was perfect for a group of moms staying together for a fun weekend. The beds weren’t particularly comfy for us, but the views were spectacular. We couldn’t ask for a better, well stocked kitchen as we ate most meals at the condo. Access to the beach was super convenient. The pool was also perfect and not too many people there. So it felt very spacious. I would go back again.

Tybee Gem

This is my second time at this property after vacationing at Tybee for many years. In the past we always stayed on ocean side when we had young children and later grandchildren but now everyone is grown and not interested in swimming off the beach and playing on the beach so the sound that is out our door on the bay is perfect and peaceful! Love it!

Great ocean:river views

Nice property, very original decor and furnishings. Good beds. Well equipped. North End of island. Beach good. ( No beach accessories in unit). Bring your own chairs etc. Furniture and decorations quite eclectic which may prevent one from totally relaxing. Walkable to coffee shops and dinner. Nice property. Would rent again.

Artsy Condo

Had lots of things wrong when we got there. Not going to be ugly about petty things... The owners do need blinds or curtains in living area ... And new couch it felt like we were sitting on the floor...it would be to everyone's advantage to have comfortable patio chairs since that's a focal point of sitting... Over all we had great weather great location.

Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay on Tybee! The condo was really nice. We enjoyed the view of the beach from the balcony. There were some beautiful sunsets, dolphins and ships. My son, who plays the piano, loved the baby grand! I sure hope our neighbors liked The Beatles and Billy Joel. We did have a problem with one of the kitchen faucet handles, but we called the property management company and they took care of it right away. The a/c in one of the bedrooms wasn't that great, so we used the fans that were in the closet. The whole property is well maintained and it's quiet. The beach is nice, but calm. Which would be great for little kids. We had two 13 year old boys who wanted waves, so we went to the South beach. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Could be 5 stars with some simple tweaks

Great overall, but a few things kept it from being excellent across the board: 1. Washing machine filled with want looked like black mold. Made our clothes smell. Needs a deep cleaning. 2. Towels are tiny and not very luxurious. Buy 6 or 8 nice large bath towels. 3. TVs were all difficult and batteries in remotes were not fresh. Leave clear written instructions on laminated cards with each tv. Ensure batteries in remotes are always fresh. 4. Couch is awful. Seems old and bolstering worn down. Not comfortable and you can’t really air with two together as each person sinks into a hole. Replace it or have bolstering done. We just basically didn’t use it much. Was a shame. 5. Offer another more comfortable soft seating option in living room. Maybe a loveseat as well. We didn’t spend much time in the living room because of seating.

Lovely visit

This is such a unique property… wonderfully decorated…. Great oceanfront views of dolphins playing. Roomy balcony. Only complaint would be that one of the king size beds was uncomfortable.

Great location. Easy access to ocean. 2nd story had a great view of ocean. Only negative being on the middle floor is lots of noise above if the occupants have little kids. Made it pretty noisy 7am -8pm if you were in the condo. Cute decor. Could use a really Good deep cleaning.

Suggestions

Update your pots and pans to non-stick. Walmart has them for around $40. The dishes there were horrible Have some staple items available like sugar packets and Pam. Better circulation of air in property and be able to adjust lower than 70. Clean dirty air filters and dryer vents outside.

Great location & adorable condo

Tybee Island is a cozy, beautiful relaxed place to visit. The view from condo & location was wonderful and pics don’t do do justice. The condo is furnished with fun, artsy unique pieces everywhere you look & is spotless. Bedrooms & bathrooms are roomy & perfect. We were so busy we never got a chance to play the beautiful piano. I would definitely stay again but would like to mention that many VRBO’s provide essential items & this one does not. Make sure you bring your own: laundry detergent, shampoo & conditioner, lotion, coffee, tea, sweetener, any spices you need for cooking in the otherwise well equipped kitchen, including something to clean the counters with after, and a blow dryer (the ones they have are really old kind).

Outdated and Needs Cleaned Thoroughly

Back in the day, no doubt this condo was beautiful and clean. It is very outdated and it needs a thorough cleaning. The main bathroom toilet needs a new handle/system. Need to remove/replace all of the really old dishes/pans/etc. For the price, not a good value. Really old bathroom fixtures. Patio furniture all rusted. Lower the price or give people the facts online about what they are renting.

Didn't want to leave!

Wonderful view from living area. Clean unit and complex. We felt at home and couldn't have been happier. Great beach access and pool areas. Great equipped kitchen. Would stay here again. Only questionable item. The beds weren't comfy, but everything else made that ok too.

Love the place!

We had so much fun! Loved watching the ships and the dolphins! What a great location. One comment... beach towels would be great to have. Kind of heavy and bulky to pack if you're flying in. Also, the inventory list on the refrigerator wasn't super accurate. We had most everything we needed except maybe a spatula and the beach towels. Hoping to return again. Thank you!

Enjoyable experience, quiet and a beautiful view of dolphins and boats

The condo is in a great spot I feel the owners traveled the world and brought many different souvenirs which you encounter in the condo the only downside is with so many different things it gets away from the beach vibe, need to get rid of some of the decorations too busy but the beach decor is on point.
