Beautiful location

Property was very clean and organized. The location was great and close by to everything that you would need. Would definitely book this location again and the property owners are awesome. They responded immediately for any issues or concerns.

Great dog friendly stay

My wife and i often travel wuth our dogs. Finding places that are nice AND allow pets is tough. This place was great. Met our needs perfectly. Host was reliable in communicatiin and the place was as advertised. We had a great time and will definitely stay again. The shower was a little small, but that is the only thing i could find fsult with.

Comfy beds and a perfect location. Quiet and friendly neighborhood! Would have liked more linens and towels/rags. My dog got into my chocolate ice cream on the bed sheets but didn't have any to change. A few more rags, at least one per day would have been great. Otherwise a great stay!

Bed Bugs and Unclean

This place was positively terrible. The sofa mattress foam topper was stained and smelt of old urine and there was not adequate bedding to cover up the mattress. This, while disgusting, would have been forgivable had it not been for strong evidence pointing to a bed bug infestation. My friend woke up with 4, itchy bites along his back in a straight line. These were NOT there the night before. While we did not find any evidence of bugs, we contacted a dermatologist who confirmed the bites were likely due to bed bugs. The owner has not been prompt at responding and has evaded my attempt at a refund. We did not even stay in the place the second night. At this point, I will NEVER book through VRBO again. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of care is abhorrent, and quite frankly gross. If there is anyway to have my money refunded (at least for the night we didn't stay!) please let me know. Going forward, I will advise anyone who asks to not use this service unless things are rectified. I am extremely unhappy. Georgie g_nahass@coloradocollege.edu

Hi Georgie, We're sorry to hear that your friend woke up with itchy bites and hope he's well. We genuinely hate that this happened, and in these circumstances we must rely on the information we have available. We received and acknowledged the picture you sent us. To rectify the situation we sent a 3rd party professional to inspect the home for bed bugs as this is a big issue for any guests and we wouldn't want to host if this was the case. Fortunately the professional found no evidence of bed bugs and we have documentation if needed. Had there been evidence we would have been obliged to offer you a full refund and take the home off the market. I would also like to note that we responded to your messages promptly and you even sent us a message stating that you appreciated our prompt communication with you while handling this issue.
