Beautiful and breezy

Great property with lovely gardens and plenty of space if you have little kids. Well maintained and very clean. Walking distance to a lovely beach and a great fishing village with a great little restaurant. Plenty of room. We were 5 people including my 83yr old mother. It was great having a bedroom with full bath on the main floor her. We couldn't make use of the firepit as it rained every day. Wifi worked well even when the satelite dish did not during storms. This place had great views all around but be prepared for the wind! It is far from most touristy things (which we preferred) but close to a great beach-Basin Head. And many lighthouses around to see. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway with great PEI views!

Peaceful

We had a wonderful time staying in North Lake at Heather and Blair’s cottage. Loved the views, the bonfire, and the beach. It was peaceful and quiet and just what we were hoping for.

Beautiful spot!

Lovely home in a great location!

Our whole family loved our stay here. The house is wonderful and big enough for our large family. The location is as peaceful as you can get but also close to enough activities/places to keep everyone occupied. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful setting.

Water views from every room.

Our group of 6 adults and 1 teenager had an amazing time here. We loved our stay, the views from every window were amazing. Our host Heather was so nice and gave us wonderful information. The house was immaculate. We only wish we had stayed longer.

Lovely spacious house between North Lake and the sea

My extended family and I stayed here for a week in August 2016. The location was ideal for accessing our favorite beaches in eastern PEI. The setting is lovely, with views of water all around from the porches. We spotted many birds in the lake and trees while sitting on the porch. There is a large lawn with swings for the kids and a fire pit with thoughtfully provided roasting utensils. There was a big stack of firewood and chairs all around, making it so easy for us to just build the fire and enjoy. Inside the house is very well maintained and perfect for a family. A washer and dryer are provided, very nice when visiting the beach frequently! The nice sized kitchen made it easy to cook meals for the group, and we had almost enough room at the table (little girls ate at the kitchen counter). On rainy days we took advantage of the TV and watched the Olympics, or worked on puzzles on the coffee table. Bedrooms were comfortable and so nice to have 3 1/2 baths! We also enjoyed walking down to the the fishing boats, strolling on the beach, and visiting the little cafe across the street. We were all happy with the house, and Heather was so sweet, even bringing us homemade cookies one day! She made us feel like part of the family. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

Roses on the Water, great PEI home by the ocean

Thank you for the wonderful stay at your home. We loved Roses on the Water and the whole area. The beach over the bridge, bonfires in the “backyard” roasting marshmallows, waking up each morning to the fresh air from the Ocean, all made our stay incredible. We especially liked the peace and quiet with water surrounding us and away from the hustle and bustle. Exactly what we were looking for. One week was too short a time to enjoy your hospitality; you are great hosts.
