The cottage is at the end of a private access road. There is a wrap-around deck overlooking the water. It has a fire pit for making smores, with adirondack chairs.
The private beach access is a set of metal stairs down to the water level and a couple of boardwalks that end at the private beach. At the base of the stairs are personal watercrafts for venturing out to the water. Once at the beach, there are a couple of adirondack chairs, a makeshift table with an umbrella to enjoy the scenery.
The beach is beautiful, with cliffs at either end. A walk along the beach is typical, with the sounds of the waves coming and going, along with the fauna that’s present.
The cottage is in between the Red Point provincial park and Basin Head provincial park.
We enjoyed the ocean view from the deck as well as walks along the beach, during our stay.
Lots to do in the area and all within an hour's drive or less including beautiful beaches, lighthouses, restaurants, shopping, local artisans and great people to meet.
