The amenities were wonderful and the host was easy to work with. It was a perfect unit for our family to rent! The kids enjoyed themselves in the pool and the grounds were well kept! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in West Maui!

While the room was clean per , se , there were items that were not working or uncleaned , such as a pot. It needs some TLC and during our stay.The air conditioner did not function and actually was burned out so it makes you wonder why was that not checked ahead of our stay

Excellent condo. Grounds were beautiful, great location. The beach was unusable while we were there in November due to strong angry ocean. However,we knew that was a possibility when we booked so it did not affect our trip. We would definitely book again

Beautiful grounds, loved that is was away from all of the hustle and bustle. The beach was not usable during our trip however, we knew that prior to booking so it did not affect us in any way whatsoever! Beautiful pool and tons of beaches close by. Everyone we talked to was super friendly!

Lovely Place!

This complex is a wonderful place to stay for all ages. The maintenance staff are friendly and helpful, and the grounds are beautiful. The snorkeling right at the complex’s beach is fantastic!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual the Sullivan Team made it a home run. The condo was great. Really nicely laid out. Weather was perfect and we fully enjoyed ourselves. The only thing lots of people noticed is unattended kids this time. Kids get up early and mom and dad tell them go out and play. Several times it started at 06:00am. That's a little early Same as a huge sign that you cannot do this or that at the pool. No lifeguard. I felt sorry for the staff because no matter what people are throwing there kids in and parents are just doing the same. It drove families right out of the pool. I happened to talk to the Kahana Sunset Owners associations lady and she even asked me about it. Yes I replied I do notice it.She was very concerned because no matter how much the staff told them to stop they kept on doing it. This is no fault of Sullivan Properties. I cannot say enough good about them We have sent family and friends to them and they are all now return clients. It falls into the lap of the Resort. We will be back but probably in a less busy time. We will be back

Saw the Largest Turtle Ever on the Beach

While sun bathing on the upper grassy overview, we saw the largest turtle ever, at least 5'long 4'wide, come out of the ocean to sun bath, totalling ignoring the gawking tourists. Beautiful sunsets and even saw a whale jump this late in the season, mid Apr. Amazing place.

Kahana Sunset has changed over the years

This is a great, quiet little place to stay. Private secure area with nice pool and spa. What I was surprised about was the fact that there really isn’t a beach any more. There used to be a lovely beach with access to the coral reefs but a sea wall has been built and extends to the breakers. You can go out there but the waves break almost on top of you

Pleasant stay and nice community

This property is quiet, pretty, and very relaxing. This was such a nice stay and I loved that the community seemed small, pleasant, and quiet. Everyone from other people staying there to the property staff were very pleased and responsive to any concerns. It was great to walk out our door and down to the beach to swim, which had an added benefit of seeing turtles without having to fight a crowded beach. I would definitely go back to this property in the future.

Great to be back to Kahana Sunset

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely ground floor unit with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Easy check in with code and ample parking close to the condo. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Linens, towels, beach chairs, floaties. The kitchen was a bit challenging with a hodge lodge of cookware but we had most of the necessities. There was no oven so we used the community BBQ’s. The rooms had fans and AC and our beds were comfortable The grounds and pool were meticulously kept by the pleasant staff. The beach and sunsets superb! This was our third stay here and hope to return.

A Great Place to enjoy the ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and grounds are absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed eating meals on the outdoor patio. The pool was well maintained and very pleasant place to lounge after a swim. When shade was necessary, the covered patio by the ocean was perfect. This unit is functional but the kitchen and bathroom are in need of upgrading. Kitchen needs more utensils (salad bowl, salad utensils, serving bowls, etc. Bathroom fixtures are past their best before date.

Good condo in a nice spot

You can snorkel right off the complex’s beach and see turtles and fish. Pool is great for kids. Lots of good food close by. Complex’s parking spots of small; don’t bring a Suburban. Grounds are well kept. Wifi tested at 500 Mbps.

Kahana Sunset

Grounds kept beautifully, precious cove dedicated almost entirely to property. Condo was comfortable & clean though perhaps a bit older? Washing machine didn’t work, bathroom faucet screen needs cleaning as spray was erratic. For a condo complex, sharing with other people, near idyllic. Beautiful, clean, great location with plenty of nearby services.

Great location

Great location to be out of the crowds but close enough to all the fun. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
