Great Condo

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful and the condo was clean. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely come back again.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

Our condo at Kahana Sunset was just perfect. We had a beach, pool, outdoor grills, and beautiful living accommodations. Everything we needed was there. close to stores, restaurants, beaches, and beautiful walks. It is a quiet resort, and the other people were just lovely. Simply perfect.

Turtles on the Beach

First of all, the location was incredible! This condo is perfect! It felt like a true home away from home! We loved the beach at the condo that is very quiet and has turtles right there! It had that aloha quiet mellow Hawaiian vibe!

Kahana Sunset retreat

Overall, this is a great space. Kahana Sunset condos are in a superb location--easy to find with their own small beach. There is also a really nice lawn area with chairs to relax in the sun and watch the water and occasional whale! The condo was nicely equipped to do your own meals.

Heaven on Earth

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in July. We have stayed at Kahana Sunset before and absolutely love the location and the community. Our condo was CLEAN - the bed was super COMFORTABLE - and it is just a short walk to the pool and a PRIVATE beach. The snorkeling was epic - we saw a bunch of turtles and lots of fish. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet stay where you can cook your own meals and get away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. We will absolutely try to stay her again.

Love this place!

We’ve stayed at Kahana Sunset for years in different units. This one did not disappoint! We love the property because it’s intimate but top notch. Small private beach, turtles swimming right there, nice pool and BBQ area. If you have children, they can play around and you can easily spot them since everything on property is very central and viewable. And this unit was well-priced, clean, cute, and met our needs. We will use it again hopefully!

Peaceful Hawaiian Experience

Our stay at Kahana Sunset was fabulous. It's away from "resort row" in Ka'anapali offering a peaceful and more authentic Hawaiian experience, which is what we were looking for. During our mid-April visit the sun set perfectly between the trees and the building in front of us surprising us with a sunset view each night. What a treat! The condo is clean, well-appointed and a perfect landing spot for all your daily adventures. Kahana Sunset has its own mini cove beach, a great spot for a morning or afternoon dip. Lots of grass and lounge chairs to soak up the sun with the Pacific Ocean as your view. And the sunsets were breathtaking. We even saw whales our very first night frolicking offshore. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful Hawaiian experience.

Best 2 weeks in years

This was our eighth stay at the Kahana Sunset, first time in E1E. The condo fit our needs perfectly. We had just a sliver of ocean view, but the privacy more than made up for it. AC units made it comfortable any time. It was recently remodeled and beautiful. The only downside was a lack of kitchen supplies. A tray and tools for grilling would have been nice. We knew that for health reasons no spices would be available. That includes salt and pepper, so be prepared to get supplies. Beyond that, we had a perfect vacation. Beach erosion in west Maui is an issue, and the KS beach is smaller than years past, but it is still our number one place to go. We hope to be back in '23.

Relaxing getaway location that fits the budget

Nice property-tastefully updated and comfortable. Beach is narrow with heavy surf, but pool is great and location is too. Less imposing than the big resorts. Napili shopping center is very convenient for supplies etc. Great time on Maui- mahalo!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful condo, well equipped, recently renovated and updated with nice, comfy furniture, especially the bed. It’s in a large condo complex with a small beach that’s very photogenic, but not super easy to use (stairs). Gorgeous, park like grounds and really nice pool. This particular unit is not easily accessible because of steep stairs which is not noted in the listing. We’re an older couple ( knee and heart issues) and this was tough for us, especially with luggage. The management was friendly and responsive when we had questions/concerns, but there were no instructions for how to use the cable tv, operate the appliances and what to do on checkout. HOWEVER, this is a lovely, spacious unit and we would definitely stay again if it weren’t for the stairs and we weren’t so freaking old! Mahalo nui!
