とても良い所でした。詳しく書いてある説明書があったのは良かったです。キッチンの設備も良くて、宿泊する人の必要な物をちゃんと考えているんだなと思いました。もし変える事ができるのら、1、長く居たので、着るものを置ける棚などあったら良いと思います。2、シャワーを浴びてると、湯がすぐ無くなってしまうのがちょっと困りました。それ以外は、とても良い所と思いましたありがとうございました。

Our stay at Mika’s place was perfect!We stayed for a month and felt at home. The apartment was immaculately clean, well organized, and fully equipped with kitchenware, bathroom and laundry supplies, clean linens, fresh towels, chargers, and more. There was also helpful information available in the apartment- just need to pack your clothes and arrive.The location was ideal, on a quiet yet central street, and the apartment had great sound insulation. The neighborhood was charming, with plenty of places to eat and go out just a short walk away, even late at night.Communication with Mika was easy and pleasant, with quick responses and good recommendations.We’ll definitely come back for another stay in the future (:

We had a great time here. The property was really well appointed, having more amenities than any vrbo we have ever stayed in. The host is great, sending daily recommendations of places to check out based on his local knowledge of the area. Close to the train station and located in a really nice neighbourhood. 10/10 would stay here again.

Cute apartment in a great neighborhood!

I felt lucky to find this listing in time for my trip and was not disappointed! The apartment was very cute, with a large balcony and a great city view. Each room was clean and had lots of extras like umbrellas, bandaids, laundry detergent, and a lint roller in case you forgot to pack any. The apartment had some updates that weren't shown in the photos, like a new bedframe and a Toto bidet toilet seat, which was great! The A/C worked really well, so we never got hot on the warmer days. The wifi was quick and had no issues for two people using it simultaneously. The little washing machine worked nicely, and there's a dryer fan for clothes above the shower, so you don't have to hang them outside.Check-in and check-out were easy, and the host is very friendly, helpful, and responsive!A few things to keep in mind is that it is a small space, so it might be cramped if you have more than two people. There's a camera pointed towards the front door and it was unclear if it was a wide-angle lens or if it had audio recording, so that made us a bit wary. The neighborhood can also be a bit noisy at night on the weekends but it was never enough to affect our sleep.Overall, we loved our stay here and would book again in the future. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant! The apartment is extremely well organized with all the essentials and practical additions that are useful for a traveller staying only days or much longer. As Mika cautions, it would be very tight for four, but perfect for one or two.

Comfy, convenient, cool

We would 100% recommend this studio apartment to anyone wanting to spend comfortable time in Tokyo metro area. The location was fantastic; so close to the station which affords easy access to so many other places to explore. Of course, Shimo-kitazawa itself, despite development, has lost none of its charm. It is a dynamic, exciting yet comfortable neighbourhood to base yourself in. Great shopping, coffee and food surround you in every direction. Light sleepers may rarely notice the sound of folks nearby, but it's nothing ear plugs can't address.Most of all what struck us about the apartment were all the many many thoughtful touches the host included, so that you really felt at home. No "I wish I'd packed that" or "we'll need to pop to the shops for this" - everything was considered. And if you want to see what I mean, check inside the "red mug" when you arrive!A big thank-you to our host.Please book and enjoy as much as we did!

Fantastic central base from which to explore Tokyo

We arrived after a long flight and thankfully the check in process was simple and we were able to settle in quickly. The apartment itself had everything we could need with lots of great touches such as charging cables and other little things to make a traveller's stay that bit easier. The room itself is typical of a Japanese apartment and it was a bit of a squeeze with my wife, daughter and myself plus 3 big bags, nonetheless we were out and about most of the time so this was fine.The location was awesome and Shimo has a big variety of different dining/cafe options which were all reasonably priced. The area itself has a wonderful vibe with lots of live houses and cool bars. I would definitely return on my next Tokyo trip.Thank you!

Location is amazing!!!

Overall, an amazing introductory experience for my partner and I’s first time in Tokyo. This neighborhood is so vibrant and lively. In the evening, you can hear jazz from the music bar downstairs and it was a beautiful touch. Neighborhood is very quiet after 9-10pm. Many restaurants and shops within local distance. Allow yourself the opportunity to explore this area if you stay because you will be amazed. Thank you Ikeuchi for sharing this beautiful home with us and for making the check in/check out process such a breeze. We hope to visit in the future!

Lovely owner, great communication

The owner was very caring and gave us many suggestions about things to do in the area. We also experienced a typhoon and subsequent extremely hot weather. She kept us unformed about this. We had some trouble finding it as the address was a few blocks off the real location. On Google Maps it's located beside Captain's Donut. Air conditioning wasn't extremely cold but it worked and it was fine. We would stay here again. We

Great location, smooth experience

It was a bit tight but we all fit (family of 4, kis are 17 and 18). If you travel with a lot of luggage and you are mire than people, then maybe reconsider. It is 5 min walk from subway, and the area is quaint.

Cozy stay in the heart of Tokyo

I stayed here with my 2 brothers for our short visit to Tokyo in June and had a great experience. The property is in a great neighborhood with a funky atmosphere and is close to 2 major subway lines, making it a great launchpad for exploring the rest of Tokyo. The apartment itself was very clean and has a balcony that offers a nice view of the neighborhood. Mika the host was very accommodating, providing us with clear and useful information for our trip. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which was very appreciated when our plans changed last minute. I highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Tokyo!

Cozy and clean house at the heart of an amazing neighborhood

House is not big but very cozy and very clean, location is amazing since it's right next to two metro lines and it's on a higher floor so noise from the street is not getting there. The place had everything you might need on your travel including Suica cards. Communication with Mika was very easy and without any delays. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a wonderful 6 day stay here. Nice, cozy apartment in a very cool, active neighborhood. Meiko, our host, was great as well. Timely communications and clear instructions for checking in and out.

Nice place - clean and friendly owner

Very nice - we had a good stay in Shimo. It was a comfortable apartment in trendy Shimo-Kitazawa. Close to the station and some nice restaurants and bars nearby.

Clean, comfortable and great location!

I spent the better part of a week at this appartment with my husband, teen daughter and tween daughter. We felt very welcome from start to finish, with lovely host Mieko offering us support every step of the way. The apartment was everything we expected plus Mieko stocks the apartment with thoughtful extras like guide books, maps, spare chargers, and even a hair straightener. There's a grocery store just a stone's throw away so we were able to keep ourselves well fed on ready made meals and do some light cooking in the apartment. There were plenty of incredible izakayas near by, too. Despite Shimokitazawa having a bustling nightlife, we had a very quiet and comfortable stay at the apartment. Thankfully the air conditioning worked well because the summer of 2023 was sizzling througout Japan! Thanks again to host Mieko and we hope to be back again some day!
