Owners were great with communication and planning. Location is ideal for boaters / water enthusiasts. Also for large groups as the cabins next door are same owners and can accommodate 15 people.

Lovely home that comfortably sleeps our large family group. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, clean linens, super family gathering room. Good swimming, fishing, and relaxing by the water.Love eating, and sitting on the large deck area.. great family place!

Beautiful home located on a wonderful peaceful stretch of Lake Huron. Great sandy play area for children with tons of toys. Evening getherings and fires in the bug free screen room and a kayak paddle to the end of Brulee point with the sky full of Monarch Butterflies were just magical.

Great location on Point Brulee directly on Lake Huron. Quiet water most days as the shape of the point has many coves and waves are quelled. Glass smooth some evenings and mornings. House has all that you need.

Martin and Carol are very responsive. The house and view of the lake are beautiful! We were 12 people and there was plenty of room and something for everyone to do. We all enjoyed kayaking, ping pong, sitting in the porch, and the peace and quiet! Thank you!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! From the large entry way to the lake views and sandy beach! We were 3 generations and plenty to do on the property for all ages. Relax, play or fish. Our grands absolutely loved having the kayaks and used them the entire time. This was the best equipped property as well. Seriously did not lack anything! A Perfect Family Getaway!This beautiful, spacious home on a bay off Lake Huron was the perfect setting for our family getaway! With four bedrooms, our adult kids had plenty of space and privacy, while the home offered so many inviting spots for us to gather and spend time together. We loved watching the sunrise from the dock, playing games by the fire on the screened-in porch, and winding down with movies in the living room.The home was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the kayaks, paddleboards, and canoe, which made it easy and fun to get out on the water and enjoy the lake. The peaceful, rural setting was a wonderful escape, yet the location was also ideal for day trips to Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, and Sault Ste. Marie. Nearby Hessel is a charming little town with a few good grocery stores, shops, and restaurants.Communication with Carol was excellent from beginning to end. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Carol even helped with advice on other places to visit in Michigan after we checked out and started home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time together as a family. This home has everything you could want for a relaxing lakeside getaway, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend!

Thank you for sharing this amazing property with our family!! Perfect remote location yet easy to get to. Quiet. Water was so calm in the cove. This cabin did not lack for anything. There was so much to do inside and outside, and we tried it all… kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fire pit, fishing, ping pong, air hockey, and so much more. Cabin was perfectly clean on our arrival. Every cabinet was filled with everything we could ever need. An abundance of supplies throughout. Thorough instructions left no question unanswered. Slept our party of 15 comfortably. Great location. We easily took day trips to Mackinaw Island, Sault Saint Marie, & Tahquamenon Falls from the cabin. Amazing! You will not be disappointed here!!

A very well appointed house for our family of 14 people ages 1-68. There are plenty of things to do at the house and easy to do day trips to places like Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon falls, and Sault St. Marie. The towns of Hessel and Cedarville are very cute. It was a week of fun and relaxation!

Favorite Place in the UP

This is our fifth year staying at this wonderful cabin. It is extremely well-appointed and is great for families. It's a beautiful setting on a cove in the Les Cheneaux Islands and is a short 10 minute drive to Hessel and a few minutes further to Cedarville. It is peaceful and feels remote, but it is conveniently located for exploring this beautiful area. The hosts are fantastic and respond quickly to questions or concerns.

You can do as much or as little as you want

It was everything we had hoped for. And the hosts were outstanding. A great place for a large family vacation.

Perfect Stay

Great family house!

We all agreed this house was perfect for our visit. Carol, the owner, has supplied this place with all the amenities you could want, from pots and pans to beach towels. They even have organized art supplies for the kids! We really enjoyed our time at Brulee Point!

We renovated a seasonal 1950's cottage into Brulee Point Lodge to accommodate our lifestyle "The more the merrier". We both have large families and wanted room for us all to gather, slow down, relax, appreciate nature, and build memories with family and friends - that's what it's all about.

We would love nothing more than for you to stay and enjoy yourself so much that you want to come back!
