Great stay but needs a clean

We enjoyed our stay here, great location and we were able to stay as late as we needed on checkout day which was fabulous! However, the outdoor area needs to be cleaned, there were big piles of animal droppings on the deck and on all the chairs and our infants kept picking it up and trying to eat it. The BBQ has also not been cleaned so we had to give it a thorough clean before we could start cooking. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Cosy picturesque country hideaway

The home was comfortable and met all our expectations. The view from the front balcony was a rural idyll. Sitting in the morning sun on the balcony gazing down the valley was magic. It provided a lovely rural retreat for our family to spend time relaxing together but also close to a range of excellent food and wine venues.

Family getaway

The host, Bryce, is very easy and lovely to deal with. We had this booked during COVID lockdown and Bryce made the process of rescheduling very easy for us. The house is located on a beautiful property.

A beautiful country getaway

So much space for the children to play and explore. We didn't leave all weekend, as we didn't want to miss a moment enjoying the serene views. We had all we needed with an outdoor firepit, and the little dam for the children to catch crawchies.. thanks for sharing your little slice of paradise with us. We'll be back for sure!!

Lovely country getaway

This property is excellent for a family - we had three young children with us and they loved their time at this property. The outlook is magnificent - we stayed for a week and most days we woke up to the sight of hot air balloons drifting across the valley. The owner, Bryce, was very easy to deal with and keen to ensure we had the best stay possible. The Broke/Wollombi area is a bit outside Pokolbin so is a different experience - lovely wineries and farms are quite close but the area is not over-touristed, which makes for a lovely getaway location.

Nice place but needs attention to details . Furniture is old and dated and it can be cleaner.

Had a great time!

Absolutely Beautiful

We rented the property to attend a wedding and it was perfect! Kangaroos at the back door and views that went forever .... everything we needed was made available. Will definitely book again to stay longer.

Rosamund House is a great find. Location is perfect and picturesque. Child friendly. House is very clean and spacious. Bryce was so easy to deal with and provided us with great communication and information about the property and recommendations for the surrounds. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

AMAZING property with a wonderful host - will be back

Property just as described, host very attentive and quick to respond. Location great, private yet easy to get everywhere. Winery just across the road. Kangaroos just meters away and birds galore. There is another house on the property but it is distant enough that you don't even notice it. We travelled with extended family this time but will be coming back with friends soon. Thanks Bryce!

Great escape country house in a wonderful landscape setting. Everything is clean and spacious. I love enjoying the spectacular view when dining on the balcony. Definitely recommend.

We purchased Rosamund Hill Estate as a lifestyle investment for ourselves and our kids. We are supplementing the costs through weekend short stays. We hope you enjoy the property as much as we do and treat it like your own. You'll get lost in the beauty that Rosamund Hill Estate is.

The view is regarded as one of the best in the Hunter Valley. There is no better place then to sit back with your locally bought wine and relax will watching the wildlife walk by or the kids out playing in the paddocks
