Tranquility

A warm welcome awaits you at Gumtree Cottage, a modern fully self-contained property nestled amongst the countless gumtrees on this 18 acre rural site.

Located only 10 mins from Hermitage road, the gateway to the wineries and renowned restaurants, the property is ideally suited to couples, young families & friends alike wishing to explore all that this stunning region has to offer.

Guests are invited to relax in the private hot tub, stroll down to the dam, where you can enjoy a fire pit, with wood & firelighters provided with our compliments. Blankets and cushions are also provided for your added comfort.

Sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed either from the hot tub which is at the rear of the property which is fenced or from the seating area and if you are lucky you can watch the local kangaroos grazing at both dawn and dusk.

At the time of booking, guests can request up to 2 well behaved, house trained dogs. Please refer to the policy relating to dogs prior to booking and provide details of the dogs you will be bringing in your booking request.

Host was very welcoming as the venue is on their property, very clean venue, very dog friendly - a few small gaps in the fence that a small dog could push through if they tried but they were easily blocked in. Had everything in the kitchen but an oven, air fryer supplied by host to compensate. All amenities were modern and aircon worked fantastically as we stayed when it was very hot. Spa was amazing to relax in. Host supplied bottled water and milk in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again!

Adrian's property was the perfect tranquil get away in the quieter area of the Hunter Valley. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided and Adrian was very welcoming and helpful. Hot tub, fire pit, beautiful (quiet) local walks and plenty of wildlife to see. If you are looking to get away from it all and slow down, we highly recommend booking a stay here. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautifully cleaned and cozy home with welcome gifts! enjoyed our stay and saw some wallabies along the way Adrian is great host and very communicative replying to all questions and even allowed me to checkout late which was very lovely of him.
