Newer home on a quaint ocean block. Private apartment with One bedroom with queen bed and a home office with a sleep futon (see pic). Steps to a beautiful uncrowded ocean beach and no beach tags required. Bike through nearby nature trails in Sandy Hook and Hawthorne woods. Walk or bike to the many restaurants in downtown Sea Bright. 3 miles to the SeaStreak high-speed ferry for a 40 minute ride to NYC.

Even nicer than the 1st time!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we hope to be back again next year! Lovely apartment that feels private and with everything you need, including a view of the ocean - and even whales if you're lucky! Super clean, great communication, fabulous location, and so comfortable! Hosts have thought of everything! We love it here and you will too!

Perfect for relaxing and location

Had a WONDERFUL relaxing time. Mike goes above and beyond to make the overall process super easy to do and available for any questions/assistance. Can see the beach from living room. The location is quiet and can see both sunrise from living room and sunset in short short walk to end of block. Short drive to downtown and the other beaches north/south. Definitely recommend and will stay again without hesitation.

Great stay on the shore

This property is very comfortable, very clean and well supplied. Lovely view of the ocean from the top floor. You can walk/bike to nearby restaurants and shops. There are beach chairs, umbrella and towels available for your beach days and bicycles for exploring sites on Sandy Hook. Host is friendly, helpful and quickly responded to my inquiries. Nice touch was a supply of a few snacks and coffee pods to get you started. Excellent vacation experience easily accessible from NYC. I hope to book again soon!

Wonderful stay

Great location between beach and river. Clean and comfortable. Caught many sunrises from the windows. Mike was super accommodating and we'd love to come back.

Mike is the best communicator ever

Mike will respond to your emails quickly, sometime in minutes. He accommodated us by allowing us to check in early, if needed, provided us with extra beach chairs and basically went above and beyond if anything was needed. We would gladly stay with Mike, again. We are looking forward to returning to Sea Bright.

Perfect getaway

Lovely, clean apartment. Perfect for 2 people. Ideal location - quiet beach and not far from restaurants. Mike was a great host - easy to communicate with and was so kind to leave additional amenities. Would rent again!

Great location with beach views

Great little property with a nice beach view. Nice amenities, and host was very communicative, easy check-in process. We had a nice stay, wish the weather would have co-operated for more beach time! Having grill and private patio was also a plus, although we didn't get to use them due to weather. Two thumbs up!

Excellent!

This is a wonderful place. Impeccably clean and well stocked with some surprises. The paint colors and decor made it homey and welcoming. Far away from town so it’s quiet but close enough to bike ride to center of town or Sandy Hook. A minute walk to beach and a minute to end of block to watch amazing sunsets over highlands, Navesink and Rumson. Did I mention no badges needed? Mike was always available and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Lovely neighborhood. Everyone is friendly. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you Mike and Maryann for a relaxing and enjoyable week in the secret of the jersey shore, Sea Bright. Joy and Bill

Great stay!

We just left Mikes rental in sea bright for a few days in sea bright and it was perfect!! Very clean, great location with ocean views from the top floor! The unit is located in the back of the main photo in the listing and has a private entrance. It is 3 stories with the bedrooom, alcove with a twin futon and bathroom on 2nd floor. 3rd floor has your living space and kitchen and dining table. Everything you need for the beach is included, couple of chairs, umbrella, cooler and toys. I will absolutely book with mike at this location again when we’re back in NJ!!

Beachside Gem in Sea Bright

Our stay was fantastic! A beautiful, clean, comfortable home. The location is perfect with beautiful views of the ocean and river. Our host has thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We will be back!

Terrific home at an outstanding location

Had a wonderful time at this nicely appointed home. Was at a conference in the area and relished my daily return to this relaxing, clean, bright, and airy ocean front home. Beach is just steps away and I hardly ever saw another person on the beach. Great place for a quiet visit to the beach at the Jersey shore.

Perfect stay

Mike is an incredible host, over communicates any needs in a timely manner. The description matches exactly. Home was clean, new, well stocked and prepared for guests. Location to the beach was a half a block. Absolutely looking forward to staying here again. Thank You Mike!

It was a wonderful experience everything was exactly as it was shown in the VRBO listing…

The property was exceptionally clean beautiful views of the ocean owner very helpful lots of extras that you don’t normally get in a rental…private beach excellent location…I would stay there again in a heartbeat ….and give it five stars…
