Tom’s - aahhh the serenity!

The location is very peaceful and private. We loved the home away from home feel. The property was very well equipped and was a great place to stay to explore the Yarra Valley.

Perfect country stay

We loved Tom’s place, the place was so well appointed and comfortable. We had a great time with our dog be able to stay and loved having a gin and tonic in the bush with a beautiful view!

Amazing views

Loved our stay with a young family. Even in the middle of winter, it was cozy and warm thanks to the fire oven and electric blankets. A wonderful city escape.

Entertainers dream

Tom’s place made our stay so easy. We stayed for new years with a group of friends, baby and a dog. This place was perfect with all you could need to entertain them. Gorgeous view from the deck and so close to Healesville.

Everything we needed

We stayed for a girls weekend and the house had everything we needed and more. It was very tidy, clear instructions and a beautiful view. Highly recommend, also baby friendly as we had a toddler with us

Idyllic Getaway

Such a gorgeous property in a beautiful natural bush setting, that was so quiet and peaceful. We had the most relaxing barbeque enjoying the view from the front garden under the umbrella and trailing wisteria. Tom's at Chum Creek - what a gem!

The location iof the house was perfect for our stay. Beautiful garden and surrounds. The morning mist in the valley was an extra treat. The interior of the house reminded us of home … comfortable and filled with plenty of interesting and quirky items.

A great house for a relaxed family stay.

Tom’s place was perfect for our little pre Christmas getaway with our son and his family. Everything was available and safe for the one year old and five year old. Our beds were very comfortable. A huge array of cooking supplies and dishes. The washing machine and dryer were great. All in all we would recommend 110%.

Family gathering for my niece's wedding.

What an amazingly beautiful house and garden. Spotless and thoughtful presentation. Everything you could possible need was there. We adored the kangaroos, kookaburras, ducks, rabbits and assorted parrots. A totally wonderful werkend and experience.

Tranquil location

Successful Family reunion in a large home with 7 adults with lots of areas to spread out inside and out. Amazing views from the terrace which was fully fenced, suitable for kids or pets. Lovely vibe with a homely feel and really interesting books collection if you want to relax and chill out. Highly recommend the accommodation to anyone thinking of staying. Andrew was a vey friendly and helpful host, nothing was too much trouble.

Groomsmen stay

I used this property for my groomsmen and myself the night before and the night of my wedding. As a whole the stay was great. The house has everything you will need for your stay, from the bbq for breakfast feasts, open fire for evening drinks, even going as far as providing cocktail making equipment. We had some pre wedding photos and the photographer noted that the lighting around the place was prefect. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a little getaway.

Homely, quiet hidden gem

We stayed for a weekend with friends. It was a gorgeous house, with a homely and country feel. It was super peaceful with lots of wildlife. We loved the fireplace and all the little areas, inside and out, to chill and read a book. Tom’s had left lots of very clear instructions, our only negative would be the sound issue in the bedrooms, you can hear everything that is said in the next room. But otherwise it was a wonderful getaway and we would highly recommend.

Lovely winter escape

This property was exactly as presented online; with gorgeous views of the mountains to match the gorgeous interior. There was ample heating throughout the house to keep everyone in single digit temperatures. Andrew was also easy to deal with and keen to assist if needed. The roads up to the house can be a bit windy and are single lane, so definitely best to only travel during daylight hours, but this was only a minor concern. Overall stay was amazing and enjoyed by all of our group (5 adults and 2 dogs).

Amazing place to stay!

My bridal party and I stayed here before my wedding and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! It was such a beautiful house in a lovely location and had everything that you’d need! Would definitely recommend!

Tom's has operated as a holiday rental for over four years. We recently purchased the property so it is beautifully set up specifically with our guests in mind. Featuring lots of comforts in a stunning rural setting. The best thing is the peace and views that allow our guests to instantly relax and unwind. Healesville is a five minute drive where there is great coffee, food and wine on offer. Venture out into the Yarra Valley and enjoy visiting wineries, galleries and much more.
