Winter Getaway

Wonderful first visit to Zion, great location to explore the beauty of the area. Just a short drive to the National Park and we also highly recommend Red Reef Trail and Three Falls Trail that are more local to Hurricane. House was perfect to return to - clean and warm, and our family made full use of the hot tub, movie room and outdoor grill. Fantastic vacation and would love to return, maybe to experience a different season.

Wonderfull stay & host!

Brian was very responsive, extremely helpful with recommendations whenever we asked, and the jeep tour we took was AWESOME! His place is lovely, very accommodating, well appointed, comfortable, and just overall AWESOME! It was an easy and short 40ish min. drive to Zion, and considering not right in Zion/Springdale, what we got for what we paid, was AWESOME! In short, it was AWESOME! ;-) Book and enjoy! Thank you Brian! Hope our paths cross again, maybe we'll see you in Paso sometime soon! Cheers! J&G

Zion / Bryce Canyon Trip to celebrate HS graduation

Brian is a most gracious host - informative and friendly - with great regard for his guests' privacy. The property is clean and comfortable - lots of space for all, nicely furnished with a super bonus of a home theater! The beds are very comfortable - we all slept so well. A great location to stay while visiting the national parks in the area. Easy to find by way of the directions provided in the welcome email. If we vacation in the area in the future, we will definite stay at this property again.

Inflexible Manager, Comfortable Property

We booked our trip before Covid 19 was an issue in our area. VRBO advertises that they ask their manages to be flexible during this crisis. That is not what we experienced at all. Our county was put on a stay at home order about a week prior to our trip. I asked the manager if we could reschedule. He refused to work with us at all. We ended up going because we would loose out on the money. The manager asked for an arrival time. His check in states 4:00 PM. I said we’d be there around 7:00-8:00 PM. We arrived at 6:10 PM, it’s hard to predict traffic. He was cleaning and the property was not ready. This made me nervous and wonder why it was being done last minute. We came back at 6:30 PM and were told it wasn’t ready and it was our fault because we had said 7:00-8:00 PM. If you have a 4:00 PM check in the property should be ready prior to that. We ended up driving around with tired kids because it was not ready. The property was clean and comfortable. Due to the lack of flexibility from the manager, we will not use VRBO again.

Unfortunately, this guest's review is untrue, and unfair. We have been very flexible and have offered 100% refunds or credits (if desired) to everyone who has been travel restricted, from any state or country. Utah has never had a travel restriction. All the local state parks have remained open, as well as restaurants, etc. Southern Utah has remained one of the top safest places to be during covid-19 crisis. This guest confirmed twice within a few days of arrival that they were still coming, then asked for a refund the day before arrival, then changed her mind again. Also, we send a welcome email to each guest when they book, explaining that they can choose a check-in time anytime between 4pm and 10pm, and ask them to please specify their check-in time, so that we can schedule the cleaning and preparation. This guest said they would arrive after 7pm, so we scheduled the cleaning to be completed for them at that time. They even confirmed their 7pm arrival time on the afternoon of the check in day. But, they showed up an hour earlier and complained that it wasn't ready. While they were staying, we made sure that they had everything they needed. The propane in the BBQ ran out after the first day, and within minutes I made a run to Tractor Supply to fill it again for them. They wanted to dye Easter eggs with their kids, but needed vinegar, which is nowhere to be found in the stores right now. They asked me for some, and within minutes I happily and freely gave them a gallon (no charge), which we actually needed for cleaning, but we gave it to them freely for their Easter eggs. This guest left the home very dirty, and they used our hot tub as a swimming pool for the 3 small kids, which left the water murky and damaged. I had to spend 3 hours the next day draining, refilling and cleaning the hot tub. Please look at our other reviews... they are all 5-stars. We also have over 1300 5-star reviews on another booking website. We are actually one of the very highest rated vacation properties in the Zion park area. We provide a very clean, safe and comfortable home for our guests. You will love it here.

Great visit to Zion

My 4 brothers and I had a great visit to Zion National Park and it was all made possible by finding this beautiful house in Hurricane. Brian was a great host and his property had everything advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking each day and the theater room and DVD library were excellent. The beds were comfy, the BBQ and kitchen provided some good meals, and we just had an overall great visit. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
