Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and ready for use. However, if your looking forward to playing pool, according to the pictures, the pool table is not there. The kids were highly disappointed.

Inaccurate listing & a neighborhood who hates rental homes.

Stay was great other than the Inaccurate photos of the home. Living room and outside area are way different from the photos. Door was left unlocked for some reason, that could’ve been very dangerous. This house needs better kitchenware. Neighbors called the property manager for our music being too loud and offensive before quiet hours. It wasn’t that loud. The property manager informed me how the neighborhood hates rental properties and consistently receives complaints.

Honest review !

This is our second time staying at the house, The first time was one of the best vacations ever so we wanted to come back but this time we had some issues ! the house is beautiful and in a awesome location if your going to the lake but , it hasn’t been maintained as well as it should’ve been . when we first got there the pool was not clean at all actually pretty nasty due to algae and oil covering the whole pool and that is the main reason why we got the house in the first place . we couldn’t get in the first day and a half Until they sent a pool company, which Was good, but I wish it would’ve been clean when we got there so we could’ve jumped in since it was 115 that would’ve been a nice way to cool off. There was some issues with whatever cleaning company they use since we found old fruit on the floor of our bed room , crumbs all over the bed and old water bottles in the bed So that means they did not change the sheets, , which is pretty gross ! Not to mention the popcorn on the couches which we didn’t even bring popcorn . We had to go to the store immediately and buy paper towel, garbage bags , and some coffee cups and stuff like that because there wasn’t enough for our family . I do have to say that this is not all bad like I said before location is amazing. The house is beautiful once we got the pool cleaned It was amazing.

Everything as promised

Great property in a quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood. We loved swimming after hiking and golfing. They had the pool warmed and it felt great. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Home With a Pool

This house was great for our family to relax at after St George golf. With Sand Hollow golf course and Sand Hollow recreation area right next to it, we never ran out of activities. The house was clean and the pool was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Ok stay

The house wasn't very clean and a lot of the lighting and electronics didn't work. It is on a good neighborhood but there is no on street parking! The host also has some pretty strict checking out instructions, like all pool towels had to be washed or they would charge more

Great host, house not so much

Leading up to the trip and checking in was easy, JP the host was great, but the house was not. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the main living room fan was bent over and literally hanging by a thread and inoperable, same thing for all of the other fans besides the master. All of the faucets, bathroom handles, toilets etc are very loose and need to be maintained. The furnace filters were so dirty that the AC units ran non stop and would only cool to 72 degrees which was not enough when it was 108 outside. The house itself is very beat up, the baseboards were covered in red dirt, the carpet is crunchy, the beds need new linens etc. When we arrived the pool was very low on water and not filtering so it was cloudy. I had to put the house in for 5 hours to raise water levels to filter and make it swimmable. I also had to wash down the entire pool deck as it was covered in red dirt and cobwebs and my 10 month old daughter would get philthy crawling around. The management company gave us a measly credit for all of these issues. Overall, 2 stars only because the host tried hard and was responsive.

Sand hollow fun

We took the family down to sand hollow for Easter. This property was great, clean and spacious. The property manager was great! We had a great experience overall!

Would not rent

We have stayed in the neighborhood before so we knew the location was what we wanted. I booked and was easy to book. A week before we were to check in I luckily reviewed the property details and realized if you wanted the pool to be heated it was an extra fee, so that is fine as it says that in the listing. So about 5 days before check in I sent a request through their app to please have the pool heated so upon arrival it would be warm. The day before arrival I sent another message to follow up about the pool because I had not heard back, still no reply. So upon arrival the pool was not heated, yet I finally get a message about the cost to heat it etc and i had to them confirm the charge was okay so they would heat it. So we lost a day of swimming because it was too cold to swim in without it being heated. Their communication was a day behind, and they asked for 72 hours notice which I gave a lot more than that without any response from them. Upon arrival the home smelled very bad, like a mix of coffee and overused cleaning supplies or something. We had to go buy a candle and lit it full time while we were there to get past the smell. The pictures of the pool area show 6 chairs and 3 loungers, which would have been great. However there were only 4 regular chairs and there were no lounge chairs. For having a pool it would be nice to be able to lay out on them instead of the cement. The pool net to clean the pool out was there, but it was torn almost fully off the handle so you couldn’t really scoop leaves and other stuff out of the pool from being blown in. The house itself was clean overall. Furniture in the pics is different from what is in the house, not necessarily a big deal but it’s not as advertised. One of the windows in the kids bunk room was unlocked as we checked it before going to bed the first night. Kindof unsettling in an unknown neighborhood and having your kids in a new place. It also says that upon checkout that all windows are to be locked etc. so they obviously don’t check themselves for what they ask you to do. Overall we were not happy with the stay as it was not as advertised, especially the pool area which is why we chose this unit in the first place. They ended up getting the pool heated but a day late which was a bummer as we were only there a few days and the kids wanted to swim everyday, and I believe they actually charged me more than the daily fee for that, I just haven’t yet followed up to discuss.

The property was exactly as described on line. It was easy to find and prefect for my family. Golf was close and the lake was great. I would rent this house again.

Not as Promised!

Let me start with this is a beautiful home and it looks just as advertised. There were some minor issues with the house, mostly cosmetic but I took note of them because that is part of the check in process. My issue was that my family and I did not have access to the pool and the Property Manager (PM) was difficult to get a hold of. My entire vacation, from the meals to the activities, was planned around having access to the pool. So when I arrived and noticed that the pool cover would not retract I contacted the PM right away. Over a three hour time span I sent two emails, a voice-mail and a text message. Since I had not heard back from the PM I sent a message through Evolve, they responded immediately. Shortly after that, the PM responded to my email and said he'd come by the next morning to check out the issue. When he arrived he said he would call someone to fix the cover and would let us know when the repair would happen. Evening came and I still had not heard from the PM so I sent a follow up message and got no response. At that point I responded to the email I had gotten from Evolve the day prior and filled them in on the situation. My husband then sent the PM a message and he responded almost immediately. The PM told my husband that he had not responded because we went through Evolve but that he would be happy to help us get a partial refund because he was not able to have a repair done before our leave was over. Last we heard the PM submitted a request for a refund, but we have yet to hear back from either party. I am upset because not only did this wreck my entire vacation, it also made what was meant to be a fun and relaxing time, stressful. There were guests that stayed prior to us so I am assuming the PM already knew we would not have access to the pool. The only reason I chose this property over another one was because of the pool. I planned for months and dreamed about lounging around and social distancing, avoiding the large crowds, but I couldn't do that. If you plan on staying at this house please make sure you have back up plans.

Hard to Get a Hold of

This property is beautiful and looks as advertised aside from minor scuffs, chips and cracks. However, the pool cover would not retract so we could not use the pool. I found it difficult to get a hold of the property manager to report this issue. After sending a couple emails, leaving a voice-mail and a text message, I resorted to writing directly to Evolve. It was at that point that the Property Manager replied to my emails. Our contact came out the following morning and said he'd call someone to come repair the cover. I followed up later that evening with a text message to ask if he was able to have someone come out but he did not respond to me. Instead he responded to my husband who also sent a message. From that point on all communication went through my husband but even that was touch and go. Since Evolve had responded to my original inquiry, I sent a follow-up email to let them know what was happening. After some time of not hearing from the PM (Property Manager), my husband reached out again and the PM said he hadn't replied because we had contacted Evolve. He said he would help us out and try to get us a refund, hoping to hear from them soon. If you are planning to stay hear for the pool, don't bank on it. I planned my entire vacation around having access to this private pool and that backfired. Not a good time to not have access to water especially in triple digit weather! Luckily, Quail Creek is a short distance away and that made up for one of the days we lost at the pool.
