My recent stay at Bella Vista was absolutely spectacular and easily one of the best experiences I've had. If you are looking for a relaxing, magical getaway with truly unparalleled views, this is the place.The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the beautiful beachfront water views. The villa which I highly recommend booking as an oceanfront unit, offers a panoramic vista of the torquise blue waters of Exuma. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise, while enjoying a cup of coffee from the private balcony was a daily dream. The colors were not enhanced and looked exactly like a postcard. The villas location right on the beach means you are just steps away from the sand and have constant, mesmerizing and tranquil views of Elizabeth Harbor.Beyond the stunning scenery, the property itself is superb. The 1 bedroom 2 bathroom villa is spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that makes you feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day on the water, or exploring one of the many white sand, torquise blue beaches of Exuma. The staff deserves a special mention for being incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire stay, from check-in to check-out.I can't recommend highly enough. It surpassed all my expectations and provided the perfect, peaceful beachfront escape. I can't wait to return and experience this little slice of paradise again!

You know when you read reviews and you think “there is no way this place could be this good?!” I am telling you IT IS and even more! We visited Bella Vista as a family of four (including two kiddos ages 5 & 8) and as a first-time VRBO renter. Michael and Roseann are the real deal - we were blessed to actually meet them in person, as they happened to be in town while we were. The property is absolutely immaculate. As a mom of little kids, the kitchen has everything needed to keep them happy, the Hideaways has a great pool, and this location puts you within walking distance to most things you’ll need or you can pop on the shuttle to get there. The views are just amazing as well. Need advice on things to do and see? Michael and Roseann have you covered - it is all well-documented from East to West in the coffee table book they wrote. We used Taxi 91 (Floyd) to get to anywhere the shuttle did not service, but I would 100% recommend renting a car if you’ll be in town for more than a few nights. Thought we are still in Exuma with friends on a boat, we wish we had more nights to enjoy Bella Vista - Roseann and Michael, THANK YOU for building something beautiful with your rentals. We can’t wait to come back.

Best rental experience ever! The house was so thoughtfully provisioned, we didn’t want for anything. We appreciated all the touches that made for a perfectly comfortable stay. Michael and Roseann have really made effort to make their guests welcome, but also aid in the vacation experience. We appreciated how approachable they were throughout our stay..just a text away. They answered questions and helped with suggestions for destinations as we explored the island. It’s obvious they’ve put a lot of care and love into their home, and we appreciated every bit of it. Umbrellas if it rains, binoculars to explore, bug spray if they’re biting, perfect AC and humidity control, all the kitchen tools for meal prep and cocktail hour, books, games & movies for a rainy afternoon, literature about the island, coolers, noodles, floats, towels, snorkel gear…just everything you could need for a perfect vacation. Thank you, thank you! We’ll be back!

Gorgeous water views from the villa as well as from it's outdoor patio and deck. Loved that the beach was literally steps away. From kitchen to beach items, the hosts provided everything we needed as well as quick responses to questions. We had a wonderful much needed very relaxing vacation.

Roseann and Michael are exactly what you want in a host. Responsive. Knowledgeable. Friendly. The property is well maintained, plenty of supplies. We were stuck in a storm one day and they found us the one spot on the island that was open and serving food and drinks. We will definitely rent from them again.

We loved our time at Bella Vista! The location is amazing -- literally right on the beach with beautiful views. The villa had everything we needed and felt super cozy and comfortable. The host were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our next trip back.

Beautiful cottage and the view out the front door was amazing! Well stocked kitchen and very comfy bed.Most important...Michael &Roseann provided so much valuable information prior to our trip so we were able to book excursion with great captain and visit a couple of the beaches they recommended. It was awesome trip.We will definently be back!!

Great stay and amenities on the beach

Bellavista was perfect for us, all the amenities you can think of especially chairs and umbrella. The beach in front is neat in its on right plus sites over at stocking but the hidden gem is a 5-10 walk to your left. Unbelievable beach with calm beautiful blue water that is waist deep as far as you can go! Owners assessable anytime on the what’s up app as well. They even have a 2nd unit Bellavista Breeze 3 doors down. Will definitely seek another week with them the next time we try.

Blissful Solo Trip

Due to schedules and flight delays, a girls trip to Exuma was canceled. Looking on line I noticed that this wonderful 1 bdr cottage was available for a few days and jumped on it. I needed a Bahama break.So happy I did. The location is fabulous. Perfectly clear swimmable water, fantastic snorkeling, good restaurants in walking distance. Comes with kayaks and paddle boards and water toys. I was able to order groceries in advance and have them delivered for my arrival!The bed was super comfortable, Kitchen has everything you need. I felt very safe here and in George Town.The owners go out of their way to be accommodating. they are fantastic! Highly recommend this rental for solo or couple.

Amazing Stay in Exuma – Highly Recommend!

Our stay at this Vrbo rental in Exuma was absolutely fantastic! The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The direct view from the condo was breathtaking—we loved waking up to the stunning ocean scenery every day.The host was responsive and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-equipped place to stay in Exuma!

This was our second stay and as magical as the first. Michael and Roseann were great to work with as always, good communication, provided resources and recommendations etc. Check in and check out were quick and smooth. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and it was a glorious vacation, we’re looking forward to getting to visit again.

Perfect - you will want to stay here!!

Our first trip to Exuma was especially rewarding! Amazing owners (Michael and Roseann) responded to all pre-trip questions and checked back with us asking if we had additional concerns. Michael and Roseann are passionate to ensuring a beautiful stay for their guests. We were blessed to meet them both and spend quality time together as they were enjoying a well-deserved break at their second location. Michael and Roseann went out of their way to pick up a surprise birthday cake, so it was in our unit upon our arrival, and they included us in an adventure! They are genuinely fantastic people! The amazing property manager flawlessly picked up groceries for our arrival and stopped by to say hello later in the week. The home is spotless and well stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals and to stay comfortable and relaxed. The location – well, it couldn’t be more perfect. Just feet away from the water, stunning views each morning with our coffee, a short walk to Jolly Hall and August Bay and convenient Splash amenities. Centrally located on the island allowed for short drives to George Town and pleasant drives to both ends of the island/Little Exuma. We will be back!!

Amazing property with stunning views

This property-and the service from the owner was well beyond 5 stars. It was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and then some. Kudo's to the housekeeping staff, the place was spotless. Thank you to the prior guests or owner for leaving spare coffee for us, we arrived on a Sunday when everything was closed. If we didn't want to sit outside, we could relax in the living room and still see an amazing view. Jolly Hall beach is just a short walk on the beach to the left. For exceptional dining, take a very short walk to Augusta Bay. The only problem we had is that we didn't book a long enough stay. We will remedy that next time.

Excellent Property

This beautiful property is 100% as advertised. Prior to booking Bella Vista, I read the description and reviews and I'm happy to say BV is truly a gem. The unit is updated and fully stocked; the view from the unit is gorgeous and the location on Exuma is outstanding as well. Michael and Roseann are wonderful and really do treat you like family. They were extremely helpful before, during and even after our stay! They went above and beyond to make our first visit to Exuma a memorable one. We hope to come back to Bella Vista or Bella Vista Breeze for a future stay

In Early 2020, Michael & Roseann were featured on HGTV's Bahamas Life to chronicle their search for Bella Vista. Our Episode was in Season 4, Episode 4 - "Garden State to State Bliss."

We chose this property for its proximity to everything. The Hideaways offers you everything you would ever want on vacation and with the Fish Fry only steps to the east and Jolly Hall Beach only steps to the west, Bella Vista could not be in a better location to ensure your enjoyment.

For the adventurous types (which we strongly recommend), we highly recommend renting a car. We have plenty of recommendations on the best agencies on the island.. We continually explore the island with our guests in mind. We do not consider ourselves as Exuma experts, but we certainly know lots of experts on the island that can help us serve our guests better. Whether you are simply enjoying a few days "off the grid" or planning to get married on the island, we have helped our guests enjoy an entire spectrum of vacations, so let us help you discover Exuma.

We constantly strive to improve Bella Vista. We are always soliciting feedback from our guests and we will never stop making Bella Vista better. A short survey is sent to every guest after their visit. Results from this survey have led to several enhancements over the years and ensure that future guests enjoy every minute of their vacation.

To our knowledge, Bella Vista is the ONLY VRBO property on Exuma to have published a Sanitization plan with the Ministry of Tourism. This has earned us the "Clean & Pristine" distinction. The only other properties with this honor are the major resorts.

Some unique items available to all of our guests are Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella, Cooler bags, waterproof portable speaker, snorkel gear for every size, BBQ, lanterns/flashlights, Water floats, Sand toys, beach games, and much much more. We even have a butter warmer and a fish scaler!!! If you need anything, please ask and we will do everything to accommodate your request.

We truly enjoy helping our guests enjoy Exuma. We are very active on Social Media before, during, and after your visit and we encourage our guests to post pictures chronicling their visit as well. Regular check-ins are a part of our service to guests on the island. Our goal is always 100% satisfaction at all times.
