My family loved staying at Little Wren. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Plenty of room for our family of four. I loved that it was stocked with plenty of towels, soap, dishes, and coffee! Will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Little Wren for spring break

Little Wren worked really well as a base of operations for our family trip (2 adults, two kids 9 & 13, and a dog) to Salida over spring break. The location was convenient for accessing Monarch, and even getting up Leadville and Ski Cooper wasn’t too bad.

Wonderful

Two of us with our two dogs stayed over a long weekend and had great time. The home is nicely planned and comfortable. Having an area for the dogs was super convenient. The location is in close proximity to downtown Salida, hiking, and biking trails. We really enjoyed ourselves and would be back.

Family Ski Trip

Our family of 5 fit comfortably in this house. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We were happy to have the washing machine, dryer, and full kitchen. Town was close and convenient to drive to. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here!

Great place to stay for the New Year

Our family of 4 stayed here over New Years and used this as a base camp for skiing and snowmobiling in the area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for making our meals. The loft area was a perfect place for the kiddos to sleep. We were welcomed in person and greeted with a bottle of local vino! Overall good trip!

Served all of our needs!!

Bill was awesome in communicating with us. Check in was easy. Location was close to town. The house is in a old Mobile Home park. We didn't use the loft but it had a king size bed. Will definitely stay there again!!

Yep. Small house

Cool small house. Good for a single person, maybe 2 but beyond that it’d get tight. Maps lost me in the trailer park be warned!

There's so much interest in tiny homes all across America. Little Wren fulfills a niche that's been previously unavailable in Salida. Your own Tiny Home experience right here! Everyone can try out the lifestyle without a long-term commitment. We want to hear how you view your visit to Little Wren! Does it give you the urge to take this consciously edited lifestyle on?
Beautifully planned out, Little Wren has full sized amenities. The bathroom has a full sized tub/shower. You have elbow room in the whole cleanup space! The loft is cozy, convenient and lends a feeling of a tree fort when we were kids. Because of Federal DOT height restrictions, the ceiling isn't high enough for adults to stand straight up there; perfect for kids.
Your kitchen area has a gas stove with four burners and a full sized oven. The fridge/freezer is also full sized and user friendly. Better yet, there's a stacked washer/dryer unit to keep your clothes clean.
This is a tiny house with a thoughtfully planned layout. All the amenities are here; large screen tv, coffee maker, blender, fully stocked kitchen, lovely bluestone patio and propane grill, comfort all around.
Finding a pet friendly property with a fenced yard is tough. Finding a beautifully appointed home with all the amenities of a large property is even tougher. Little Wren does it all!

We fell in love with Little Wren because we believe life can be lived fully right here within her wings. She has a great front porch with outdoor curtains all around so you have a bit of privacy as you enjoy your friends and celebrate life. The bluestone patio is a great use of space, creating a wonderful sanctuary, naturally shaded for afternoon events. Overall, we appreciate Little Wren's footprint with all her amenities and benefits, yet letting us live lightly in our environment.
