Everyone from our church had a great time.

Everyone from our church had a great time. Whether it was raining outside, or nice, there was always something to do. Many played pool, a few played some video games, while others enjoyed the hot tub. The location to Dolly Sods made it great for hiking (right out the front door) and the fishing was great (from nearby trout streams, to amazing large mouth bass in the lake below). Wonderful experience. Everyone was very helpful and nice.

We were all very pleased with our stay at this property. Our married children brought their dogs and we were so pleased that the house was big enough and very, very clean with no prior dog smells. We all had a great time and would return to this property and use your company again. We were very pleased with working with your staff. They were very friendly and helpful from the beginning when we made our reservations to the end of our stay. We had a couple of minor problems at the house when we first arrived and a service staff member came and took care of the problems very efficiently.

Any chef, aspiring chef, or really good home cook will really appreciate this home. The oven could be larger to accommodate the number of guests this house holds, but overall, this was a fabulous kitchen. Additional comments. The bedroom at top of stairs to the left is super comfy. I normally dread sleeping anywhere but in my own bed. Simply put, I am hard to please. The bed in the corner under the sloped roof was amazing! The pillow and even the extra comforter I borrowed from the closet (the white fluffy one) were awesome! Also, Our kids loved the hot tub and the round table next to the kitchen. NA. Somebody else in our group took care of this.

We arrived Friday evening on a beautiful night. During the night, we had a bad storm and it really cooled things down but we were still able to enjoy the house and the area. Sunday, it returned to sunny skies. We loved the view, nature walks, and the spacious home. Thank you! I rented the house through VRBO. I had to send the contract 3 times, even though I had confirmation each time that it had arrived. I tried to give a corrected crecit card but no one would take it for the second payment. After it was to be charged, I called two days later and she said that it had declined. I said hmmm; that is why I wanted to give a new one when I called the week earlier. We also called about the TVs not working and someone showed up the morning we work packing up. Not needed then.

Great location but lacking good property management

We stayed with 4 families for June 9th weekend. Check in process was smooth with clear instructions, and the cabin was spacious with great views at a nice secluded location. One of the bed rooms didn't have any windows with no air circulation/vent that was disappointing. Even though the rental agreement says there is a starter supply for bath soap, we have seen that only in bathroom. Another thing surprised all of us was that the hand soaps in bathroom/kitchen was almost above the bottom, and some of them even mixed up with water. We tried calling the property management company to report this, left a voicemail and even left a message through vrbo, but literally there was no acknowledgment to take care of the situation. Another major disappointment was the propane gas tank was not refilled that affected our grilling plan as well. We have stayed in several cabins across the US, but this is the first time we had such an experience with a poor property management and housekeeping. Definitely will not recommend unless these issues will be addressed timely.

Great Vibes

The house was well equipped for our large (18) family vacation. Plenty of windows, outdoor decks and comfortable furniture. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group. I highly recommend Mountainside Vibes for a wonderful vacation stay.

Very nice home with even more potential. In process of renovating/updating. Updates are very nice but there are still general maintenance issues. Door lock in basement is broken. Master bath shower handle comes right off and would hurt if it landed on your foot. No curtains on windows in bunk room. House has great layout and is great for skiing.

need to fix a few things

I have rented this property 2 times now last year I think we had the same issues the knob in the master shower is broken and falls off down stairs door doesn't lock and last the tv down stairs and in the master bed do not work they said they were hooked up to direct tv but could not get them to work. I made a call to the office and left a message but never got a call back last year i was able to get the master tv to work but not this year

A 60th Wedding Anniversary Family Get Away

The property was definitely spacious and met our needs. The view was amazing! We were able to do a little hiking close by to Dolly Sods. We did run into a few glitches- for one, we were unable to use any TV in the entire house. We called for help our second day, and they arrived as we were packing to leave our final morning. It took over an hour for the coffee maker to make coffee and the oven door was an issue as well. Overall the property was a great place for us to visit and celebrate my parents! They had no A/C but that was an error on my part for not asking.
