Lovely guest home in a quiet, safe neighborhood in walking distance to several great restaurants. The back porch was so pretty, I wish I had more time to spend there. Will definitely try to stay here again!!

Lovely cottage with all modern upgrades (except shower stall for some reason). Very comfortable, beautiful private garden in the back. Wonderful stay!

Wonderful, quiet cottage in a quiet neighborhood with extra bonus- a very cute local cafe five houses down! (Cafe is also a mini market which is very convenient.) Cottage is located very short walk from Culver City amenities- cafes, book store, ice cream shop etc. Alex was very responsive when I had a quick little question about parking.

Comfortable place in a great neighborhood

Our stay was clean, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and walking distance to grocery, shops and dining. The garden in the back was a serene place to hang out, with beautiful flowers and fruit trees. I would stay there again.

A Perfect Home Base for Our LA Getaway!This place was absolutely wonderful—clean, cozy, and incredibly convenient. I stayed here with my two daughters, and we felt completely safe and right at home. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly (even the neighbors felt like old friends!), and we were just minutes away from everything we wanted to explore. From Culver City’s charming shops and restaurants to all the sights in LA, the location couldn’t have been better. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!

Nice property

We really enjoyed our stay, the back yard with all the lights at night was a great feature. If you ever consider doing a long term rental please reach out, we have a daughter that lives in West Hollywood.

perfect spot

It was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter and son in law in Palms. We were able to walk to so many places. It was clean, had some outdoor space, and a cute little market a few doors down. The washer and dryer were an added bonus.

Fantastic Spot

We loved our stay, the location was great and the space was well appointed. My only feedback is that the listing says "Free parking on premises" however there is one shared spot, for two units, available on a first come first served basis. A couple of times we had to park a block away and walk, which wasn't a big deal for us, but could be for some who need accessible parking. That said, we would absolutely stay here again.

Our family stayed in several of Alex’s Culver City houses and loved their amenities and location. Alex was very quick to respond with any issues that arose.

Nice/safe location

Everything was very nice. Bed wasn’t quite as comfortable as we hoped for but I will stay here again just because of the neighborhood. Property owner is very responsive with any questions.

Charming cottage

Charming cottage. Private backyard. Three doors down from Jackson Market, that not only sells products, but also has breakfast, lunch and yummy pizza made from a wood-burning oven, and a very nice back patio with soothing fountains. Nice neighborhood. We plan on staying here again.

Aggressive Squirrels, No Oven, Poor Cell Service

I so wish I could give this property 5 stars. The location and space were great. But the squirrels were out of control. They ran across the roof all day and worse yet, scratched on the space over the bed constantly. I am guessing that is why the skylight/window over the bed has been boarded up. I would get on the bed and bang on the ceiling, and they would still keep scratching. I could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space, as the squirrels were aggressive. I was also disappointed, as the listing says there is an oven (listed separately from microwave), and it does not. I planned on cooking for my son who I was visiting. The cell reception in the house is poor as well. I did not have trouble with wifi, but sometimes I could not make or receive a phone call at all, unless I stood in a particular spot and didn't move. I had to cancel a business call. Alex responded promptly when I messaged him, but I was not offered even the smallest of refunds.

I am sorry for your experience and issue with squirrels. We get them from time to time and never had any negative feedback from our guests in that regard. However, after u mentioned we installed Owl that operates with solar and that will keep them away. And the very same day you informed us we did set up traps and captured and relocated them. Also we never advertised Oven in our listing. Regarding cellphone signal, we have a great signal with t-mobile/Verizon/ATT and many people enable wifi calling as well so not sure which phone company you use. Regarding refund, you asked for a refund just because of squirrels and that is unfair since we have no control over a squirrel in the backyard or roof.

Great location. Close to some restaurants and coffee shops (2 blocks) but off the main road. Easy drive to Venice Beach area. We didn’t go towards downtown but probably easy to get to museums, etc. Not a big place if you want to hang out here all day but great for the evenings and mornings. Clean, comfortable and safe. Would stay here again.
Kirk Douglas theater - 5 minute walk.

Alex’s place was a great spot for my wife and I for a few weeks. We loved the location, being steps from Jackson Market and the sunny backyard. Alex was always responsive and helpful, we’d definitely stay again.

Tout est parfaitement conforme aux photos. Encore un grand merci aux propriétaires de nous avoir accueillis. La propriété est un véritable endroit paradisiaque, un lieu dans lequel nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à nous baigner, jouer à la pétanque et au ping pong, déjeuner sur la superbe terrasse à l’ombre d’un très joli figuier. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les literies de bonne qualité. Le lieu est isolé du voisinage, ce qui rajoute au charme de cette maison, et nous a permis, sans stress, de profiter de la terrasse à discuter, écouter de la musique et jouer à des jeux de société jusque tard dans la nuit. À proximité d’Aix en Provence, nous avons pu profiter de son marché magnifique du samedi matin. Bref, mes amis et moi recommandons vivement cette propriété et ses propriétaires qui avaient pris le soin de disposer des serviettes dans chaque chambre pour chacun d’entre nous, de laisser des allumes feu pour le barbecue et du liquide vaisselle. Nous avons passé une week end inoubliable grâce à vous !
