This vacation home should not be rented during the summer months as Marco (ACO representative) repeatedly told me “…it’s just a hot house…”.
ACO advertises on VRBO air conditioning as an essential amenity; however, when we called and emailed no one that we spoke with treated this issue as it was “essential” and Marco even shared with me that the it would be much hotter if the air truly didn’t work. We purchased fans from the local Walmart and the ac unit upstairs was not working but the Dan was on circulate so that we could keep some sort of air (although warm) flowing through the vents. Marco also shared with me during our phone call that your company, ACO Vacation Homes, provided the house that we booked and the air conditioner working properly was not necessary as you all have provided the home and that’s all you have to do. I am most certain, your marketing and advertisements do not disclose such.
Unfortunately Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we’re awful. I reported this issues Wednesday morning as we didn’t arrive until after 7 pm Tuesday and I didn’t anticipate a resolution that late in the evening. We checked out at 10:00 am on Saturday, the thermostat was reset Friday evening. I have provided management the opportunity yo make this right and their response was “10% off my next stay ..” I would never book any home this company manages, ever, not even if it were free! False advertising
