Good location

The location is very good. There is a Circle K down the street, a cafe in the Sunset resort across the street, and a great little ice cream shop next to it. The crosswalk to get across Gulf Blvd is on the walk to the beach, a block away. The neighborhood is great for walking or biking. The home itself is small, as are many in the area. The beds are uncomfortable, and the walls a bit thin, but otherwise the house is cute and relaxing, and everything it was stated to be in the description. If the mattresses are ever replaced on the beds, I would definitely rent this again.

This little house is clean and cozy. The pictures must be old photos, as it looked like from photos that there was yard with grass, but there isn't. As we were traveling with dogs. Luckily there was an empty lot with grass near. Access to the beach was a very short walk. Mattresses on bed was pretty stiff. But we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for having us :)

Grandparents Stay.

The house is nice size and clean. The outside is not as pictured. The side walk is broken which caused some near miss falls. Understandable since there was so much damage from the hurricane. A lot of construction going on.

Very relaxing. It was quite except for the day they worked on raising the house across the alley. Enjoyed the fishing piers that were so close. Had all the comforts available for a stress free stay.

Perfect for us!

This was a perfect stay for our family! Close to the beach and fishing dock for my boys to fish each morning and evening. The house was simple but clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay, very close to the beach

Very comfortable stay, lots of amenities available, kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, cleaning and pet supplies, lots of supplies for the beach including chairs, sand toys and towels. This property is a seven minute walk to the beach and a three minute walk to trolley stops. One thing that was slightly tricky was contacting the local property manager, in-app communication was not available, but they were easily reachable by phone.

Beach Getaway

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The homey atmosphere, cleanliness, and quick walk to the beach were all perks to our stay. There are shops, restaurants, & groceries just a minute down the road. The hosts are thoughtful enough to include common household items (Tide Pods, pots/pans, even dog shampoo!) to really make their home feel like yours. But what truly set this stay apart was the hospitality after we had left. When we got home we realized we had forgotten a personal item & the hosts went above & beyond by shipping it back to us! Their attentiveness & care made our stay even more memorable. Thank you again!

Great weekend away

Nice, clean, convenient and peaceful! Walking distance to Crabby’s and probably Johns pass too if you are up for a bridge walk! We would absolutely stay again!

We really liked the house and the neighborhood. The beach was so close, making it convenient for daily visits. The BoardWalk is nice, and the restaurants in the area are great. We highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

1948 2 bedroom beach cottage

We enjoyed staying in a comfortable, quiet and safe place! It was the first place I’ve ever stayed at that did not have a dishwasher or coffee. I just happened to bring my own coffee, so I was thankful for a coffee machine. I also brought my own frying pan knowing how old pans have been at other places. Thanks for a wonderful beach cottage stay!

Great unit in a great town

We stayed for 4 nights at this unit and had a wonderful time. You are close to town and plenty of restaurants. The beach is a short drive away. Would definitely stay again.

This is at such a great location. Beach just right across the street. Shopping and restaurants right over the bridge. We walked everywhere. Johns Pass is beautiful. I just suggest to add more forks.

Cozy and lovely

Had a wonderful stay. Check in couldn’t be any simpler. Beach is a very short walk with convenient crosswalk to safely cross the main road to beach. Kitchen was stocked with some basic non perishables and seasonings. We did not need to cook, but since there is not a dishwasher, having a larger drying rack for dishes would be nice if we’re going to cook. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean. Looking at comparable rentals in area there was a significant price difference. I didn’t bring my dog, but was glad to see there are no breed or size restrictions. Yard would be a little small for my young but large hound, but plenty for your smaller dog to stretch legs. Not fully fenced, but the back road house is on had little traffic and perfect for on leash walks. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time, the place was exactly what we needed.

The place was very charming and convenient with so many fun things in the area. My daughter and her cousins had a fantastic time with all the activities close by. Beach, shopping, restaurants, ice-cream shops, etc. a good time was had by all. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us, we really had a great spring break and would love to come back!

TI Captains Cottage Review

The cottage is in a great location. It is 1 block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, Johns Pass, lagoon, and park with playground and dog park. Publix is a mile away. The cottage is very comfortable with a large kitchen. They also supplied beach chairs and beach toys. We had a few minor issues when we checked in and they were very responsive and addressed the issues right away. We stayed 28 days and our only concern was the kitchen was ill-equipped for cooking meals on a daily basis. There were plenty of pans (not many pots) but were in very poor condition. Also, lots of knives but none were sharp. Items such as a can opener and veggie peeler were provided but did not work well. One other concern was the living room rug. It really needed a good shampooing. Overall, the cottage was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
