Lovely, family-friendly property

The property is well maintained and ideal for those with young families. Beth is great to communicate with and the property is exactly as it’s described online. This is the second time we’ve visited the property and it was just as convenient and cozy as the first time!

Every amenity was even better than expected based on the descriptions. The place was spotless, well appointed and laid out, and comfortable. The location proved to be ideal for our stay. The hosts were discreet and considerate. The set-up and pack-up routines were quite agreeable and straightforward. The views were far better than expected given the distance from Lake Ontario. My family had a joyous time at the Sandbanks and local farmers' roadside stands as well as places of historic interest. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Good location

We were just 10 mins from Sandbanks! Great outdoor settings. The basement was really humid and a deshumidifier was necessary to be confortable. We were 7 persons and sometime the space was too small for all of us but overall a good place to stay for a week away from home.

Beau séjour! Grand et propre! La plage est belle et pas trop loin de la maison. Seul inconvénient est qu'une odeur régnait dans la maison et des fourmis et autres insectes s'y promenaient. Nous serions prêts à y retourner. Merci à l'hôte!

Long weekend with friends & family

We had wonderful time in the cottage. Best part was it is not that far from Toronto, property was exactly as described , passes to Sandbank were wonderful, kids play area was good. Flip side internet in the area was slow. Recommendations BBQ needs some work, also milk jug/pitcher can be added that will be great especially when you travel with kids. Overall very good experience.

Incredible stay at Kuijpers Cottage in Prince Edward County

This cottage was everything we had hoped for, and more. So close to Sandbanks, an easy drive to the wineries, breweries and cideries we wanted to visit, and in a lovely agrarian setting. The cottage is very nicely appointed and the beds were super clean and comfortable. We wanted to cook onsite and the kitchen was perfect for this - we made a potato salad on arrival and the BBQ was great for the chicken, steaks we cooked while there. We enjoyed the fabulous deck for several meals and coffee every morning, and the living room for some family board games as well. Communications were great and Beth stopped by our first evening and made certain everything was perfect - amazing that she lives close by. Double filtered water and a shower made for tall people were both an unexpected bonus. No issues with hot water, temperature, everything was great. We will 100% return here for future visits to PEC.

Excellent, well-equipped family friendly stay

We had a wonderful 3-night stay over Labour Day long weekend. Beth was kind, had lots of great advice and the place was very clean wth soft linens. The inside of the house and the fantastic, beautiful yard were very family-friendly and safe for two toddlers. I'll be booking our return soon!

Satisfied with the rental

Again this year, we really enjoyed our stay because of the beautiful location, the température, the air conditioning and the free passes for the beach. Beth is friendly and easy to reach and responds to our questions quickly. We wanted for nothing and the stay was very pleasant because of the location and the facilities. Thanks Beth! Great family rental

This property was perfect for our family getaway. We had two small kids (2 months and 2.5yrs old) and the property was great for kids - large backyard, enclosed outdoor play area, basement play area with toys, pack n play, diaper genie, change table Table, baby gate. The location was very close to Sandbanks park and included two passes. We were about a 20min drive away from wineries. Beth, the host, was very friendly and helpful and was located next door should any issues have come up. We would rent again.

Perfect family getaway!

We had such a wonderful time at Beth’s cottage. My family especially loved the large back yard and the fire pit. Having the Sandbanks pass was really great too. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return again another fine.

Great location

Beth is a great host. Her place is only 10 min from sandbanks park and from main street where you will find everything you need. The backyard is huge and great for kids. Only issue was the wifi and network service that would work on and off but we were also a large group. Great for families

Endroit charmant et convivial!

Le chalet de Beth est très bien aménagé avec tout ce qu'il faut pour agrémenter votre séjour. L'air climatisé est fortement apprécié! Les lits sont confortables et une salle de bain sur chaque étage est un plus! Sa charmante terrasse avec pergola pour le soleil et son BBQ permettent de se réunir pour l'apéro et vous donne la possibilité de concocter de bons repas . Le terrain est immense et bien aménagé même avec un parc clôturé pour les tous petits. Aussi c'est très facile et direct pour se rendre à la plage du Parc de Sandbanks et les 2 passes d'entrées gratuites permettent de ne pas attendre la longue file et d'avoir un accès rapide lors des journées de grande affluence! Le contact avec la propritaire Beth, a toujours été génial! C'est une personne disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Elle est même venue se présenter en personne après notre arrivée nous mettant bien à l'aise pour profiter des lieux. En conclusion, je recommande ce chalet convivial; soit pour vos réunions en famille ou entre amis. Vous verrez vous serez vous aussi sous le charme garanti!

Great cottage just 10 mins drive from the SandBanks!

We were two families, including young kids, staying for 3 nights. This property is located close to many touristic attractions and 10 mins drive from Picton DT (e.g. grocery shopping). It is well equipped, with huge back-yard . Lake /shores are not aside. The owner, Beth, was extremely welcoming and helpful, as needed. We will certainly consider renting again for our next summer vacation at PEC.

Fantastic property in a great location

We had a great time. The cottage was roomy, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The host couldn’t have been nicer. We would return there in a hearbeat!
