We had an excellent stay! The house was a beautiful space, perfect for our extended family to gather for the holidays. We loved being able to walk to the beach and shops--just a few easy blocks--but our street was super quiet. The spaces are incredibly well-stocked, especially the kitchen. We also appreciated the beautiful art throughout the home, as well as the ping-pong table in the back of the carport. Comfortable living & dining room furniture made gathering easy, and we all thought the beds were great too. Strong water pressure. One suggestion: bring your eye masks if you're sensitive to morning light! The bedrooms all had curtains, but no shades or blackout drapes. We'd absolutely recommend to friends & family and hope to return. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean and orderly. Very nice with everything we needed. Elevator was a big plus for us. The pool was not used because of the distance, size, and lack of parking. House was excellent!!! Pool not so much.

Nice Place

Overall it was a nice place and good location. The only complaint I would have is that the pool was very crowded every time we went or walked by, but the beach was close so it wasn’t a problem.

Family Vacation at the Cedar House

We used this beautiful home for our family vacation. There was space to accommodate all 10 of us with comfortably. The home was very clean and looks as pictured. It also stocked all the appliances we needed to make large family breakfasts and dinners. The team supporting our stay was very responsive to text messages. 5stars all around.

It was nice, but. . . .

This was my first time booking a place for a large group so I accept some fault for not digging more to understand what we rented. Having said that, I shouldn't have to dig so hard! The house was clean and lovely. However, it was a long walk to the beach for a 5 year old. Beware of "Pool Access". The photo implies it is across a courtyard. No. It is also blocks away AND HAS NO PARKING. All parking on Tybee Island is Pay - at least $8. The house furnishings seemed stingy. One towel per person per week. ("Just launder them or bring more - and bring your detergent"). 4 dishwasher tablets for the week. We ran out of toilet paper. Having flown in, we were unable to bring extra towels, etc. We had to text for a pool code. That didn't always work but whoever answered the phone was friendly. A map of the island would have been nice; finding the beaches was not easy. It was soooo hot that just walking around to explore was not an option. Overall it was a positive experience but not quite what I had expected.

Moms and Daughters

Wow! We loved this property for our yearly family trip! The neighborhood was so peaceful and we were within walking distance of the beach/shops/restaurants/quiet waterways (where the amazing sunsets happen). The home was absolutely stunning with so much indoor and outdoor seating areas and large, well-appointed bedrooms to accommodate the 6 of us. We spent hours on the screened-in porch with coffee in the mornings and games on the big dining table at night. We had access to the lovely pool which was a short drive away-a definite bonus. The communication of the management company was top notch! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Location

Cedar House is a beautiful home with plenty of room for your family or group. The outdoor areas are great with a front and multiple levels of porches in the back that give ample room for quiet spots to enjoy a cup of tea or read a book. The location is ideal for quick access to the back river and sand bar area of the beach as well as short walk to restaurants and stores.

Fantastic House!

10 women traveled to Tybee Island for my daughter's Bachelorette party. Everyone was extremely impressed with the Cedar House we rented, especially the elevator! It was very clean, well equipped, easy to find and right between the Atlanta beach and Tybee inlet (where there were fantastic sunsets!) We never had to leave the island (except to pick people up at the airport) since everything we needed was right there--even the IGA was less than 3 minutes away by car. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone traveling to Tybee Island!

The house was perfect for our family with plenty of room . We really appreciated the elevator for baggage and groceries as well as two seniors and one broken leg in the group. The kitchen was well outfitted. The only drawback was lack of extra paper goods and pool towels.

Wonderful, stay on Tybee Island

We were an all adult family staying on Tybee Island. The house had all the amenities that we wanted and was spotless. It was a short walk to the beach access on the sound side and restaurants the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses. The rental agency was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Above our expectations!

The house was beautiful. It was clean and in a great location on Tybee Island. We are a family of nine. We had enough space for everyone. The screen porch was lovely to sit; visit and have our morning coffee. The property manager was on top of everything. Great place for a family vacation!!!

Relaxing Getaway

The property was clean when we arrived and looked amazing in person. The pictures don’t do it justice. All of the bedrooms were nice and we enjoyed the downstairs area with the ping pong table. The elevator was a plus!
