Welcome to On Cloud Nine — your inviting Tybee Island beach cottage designed for families and groups who want space to relax and effortless access to the shore. Located less than 1,000 feet from beach access, you’re just a quick 2-minute walk away, making it easy to come and go throughout the day—perfect for snacks, naps, or grabbing anything you forgot. With 5 bedrooms, over 2,400 sq ft, and multiple indoor and outdoor lounging spaces, this charming 1940s retreat offers the ideal blend of comfort, convenience, and breezy coastal living.

Room to Gather & Room to Retreat: Traveling with a group? On Cloud Nine provides plenty of space for everyone to come together while still allowing privacy when you want it. Enjoy dining and entertaining on the outdoor terrace or unwind beneath the twinkle lights on the brick-paved backyard patio after a day at the beach. It’s the perfect spot for evening cocktails, grilling, or late-night conversations under the stars.

Cozy Lower-Level Lounge & Hangout Space: The downstairs living space is designed for fun and relaxation — perfect for kids, teens, or movie nights. Settle into the comfortable sectional sofa and enjoy the large flat-screen TV or the tabletop arcade game console that promises hours of entertainment. This level also includes a full-size washer and dryer, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and an additional half bathroom for convenience, plus an outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy toes after the beach.

Main Living Floor with Sunroom & Upper Deck: Head upstairs to the main living level, where the coastal light pours in. Gather in the living room for morning coffee or movie nights, or step onto the upper deck to dine outdoors and enjoy the Tybee breeze. The updated galley kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee maker — well-equipped for easy vacation meals.

A large sunroom sits just off this level and serves as a bright transition space to the home’s first two bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a King bed and a convenient private half bathroom. The second bedroom also features a King bed, and both bedrooms share access to the full bathroom on this floor.

Bedroom Layout: The remaining bedrooms are located on the lower level, offering additional privacy for groups traveling together. One bedroom features a Queen bed and its own TV for relaxed evenings. Another bedroom includes two Twin beds, perfect for kids or friends traveling together. The final bedroom offers a Full-size bed, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. With multiple sleeping arrangements thoughtfully designed across two floors, everyone can find a space that fits their needs.

Outdoor Living & Parking: The backyard patio glows with string lights, creating a peaceful spot to wind down after the beach. Off-street parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway.

Great space for 10 family members. Lots of comfy couches and chairs for hanging out. Plenty of dining areas and chairs for meals and games. Kitchen had everything you could need. Area was just a short walk to the beach and was nice and quiet. Only a half mile walk to the pier area and shops.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: AC was great (important mid August on tybee). House was clean. Great location. Jellyfish were brutal. Dont come to tybee in August unless you want to get hurt bad by jellyfish.

We loved our stay at this house! It was a great location to get to the beach, the house was clean, kept up well, and beautiful. The check in process was easy, we had no concerns, there were great amenities at the property and appreciate being able to use this beautiful home for our family vacation!

Beach walks

This is a wonderful and roomy place to spend time with family and friends. It is one block to the beach which was perfect for our morning walks. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. We loved our stay!

Great Location

Our stay was lovely at this property. It’s in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The house is well decorated and had plenty of space for 9 adults. The upstairs bathroom could use updating but that aside it was a beautiful home! We really enjoyed our time in Tybee!

Beautiful property! Very spacious and clean. The house is well-kept. Walking distance from literally everything. Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The only thing were the bath tubs, they clog. Over all, amazing!

Savannah Getaway

This was a great property to spend a long weekend away and celebrate my mom's birthday! There was plenty of space and all we needed in the kitchen to cook and eat with. Close to beach access. Easy in and out of property. Quiet street and neighbors.

Comfy Accommodations

My group resumed our annual Girls Trip for the first time post-COVID. There was eight of us and the house provided plenty of space for sleeping and gathering. The location was convenient to a grocery store, restaurants and literally less than a five minute walk to the beach. Definitely would book this property again.

Lovely place to stay!

We loved staying at this property! The house was set up great with lots of areas to hang out and the kitchen worked well. We had 2 families staying so the layout was perfect for one family upstairs and one family downstairs so everyone had their own space. It was a super quick walk to the beach which was ideal! The only con was it was a bit noisy since it is on the corner of the main road. Other than that, it was a lovely place to stay and we really enjoyed it!

Cute beach home

We had a great family vacation! Location was great! The bathrooms needed renovations, and the AC was struggling to keep the upstairs cool. Bring extra bath towels because there were only one per person and they were small. Other than that, it was a great home in a great location and we would definitely go back to stay!! Super cute and spacious.

Prom Weekend

We had 4 adults and 3 teens. The layout of the home was perfect for our group. The home was nicely decorated and had everything that we needed.I do agree with other reviews that the upstairs bathroom could stand to be renovated, mainly the shower. It wasn’t dirty it was just old and the tub had a hard time draining.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

The layout of the house was a little odd. Lots of doors and separate spaces. But plenty of room to spread out. Beds were very comfy. The tubs were VERY slow to drain. I did reach out to the owners and they offered to come out to repair it but we only had one day left so I didn’t take them up on that offer. The upstairs balcony furniture was dirty. They offered to come out and clean that but same deal that we were leaving the next day. Kitchen is well stocked with items we needed. Large pantry which was nice. We were at the end of the block where there is beach access but just know the boardwalk over the dunes is a LONG walk. Luckily our kids are older but I can see how it would be a hassle with little kids if you weren’t mentally prepared for that. High tide is HIGH so if it’s a busy time of year get out there early to claim a beach spot. Pretty beach though. Lots of shark teeth to be found. IGA is super close. Lots of cute beach stores and restaurants. Overall very happy and would return again!!

Sorry the layout felt odd and that the tubs drained slowly — we offered assistance while you were here and will have a plumber inspect and clear the drains. Also sorry about the dirty balcony furniture; we’ll deep-clean and check the outdoor seating so future guests don’t run into that.
