What was supposed to be a two family with 6 people and 2 dogs get away for Thanksgiving morphed into just my daughter, 1 dog and I hanging out at this cute house for the 4 days. The home was very cozy, beautiful views, but in hindsight, would have been very tight for 6 people - the common living area was not that big, with only 2 couches, so not enough seating for a group. Perfect for us though!
The only issue we had was not being able to get the fireplace to work.
The kitchen was nicely equipped though it could use some additional cooking utensils, but it was fine for us and we improvised where needed.
If you do stay, it's great that you can bring your own dogs, but if you don't you should be aware that dogs may suddenly show up on your front porch to say hello!
The location of the house was convenient to the highway, so getting to Asheville was easy, but not much else around. Great for secluded getaways.
We would definitely come back with a small group - 4 probably the max!
