This is a great place to stay & not only for the views (which are amazing). The house is a great base to explore the wonders of North Iceland. If you want to chill, sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Eyjafjörður Fjord is highly recommended. Thanks to Guðrún, Annett & Thomas for being so accommodating as part of our stay. We will definitely be returning.

Our favorite stay during our 2 week trip around all of Iceland. Beautiful huge windows with a great view, especially at night. Hot tub was great. Massive snow fall while we were there but it was beautiful and we stayed cozy inside.

This is a comfortable, well designed house in a good location. Folks who want to see a variety of remarkable geological sites and thermal hot springs can find them within a 1.5 hour drive from this location. We had a peaceful panoramic view of Akureyri, the river, and surrounding mountains from the huge windows across the front of the house. The house was perfectly cleaned and provided all the amenities needed for cooking and relaxing. The four of us cooked lots of delicious meals, listened to a variety of music provided by the host, and spent quiet time in the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and the floors are heated.The property manager was responsive and cooperative. They provided a useful guide for living in the house and special places to see. We would stay there again if we returned.

Magical stay as a midpoint on our ring road trip. We stayed 4 nights to rest up and enjoy some of the fabulous towns in the north. We ventured to the Troll Peninsula, the Diamond Circle and up to Husavik for horseback riding and whale watching. This was the perfect home to come home to. We enjoyed the hot top, the comfortable beds, having laundry facilities, it was all wonderful!

Another Wonderful Stay

We just finished 6 nights at Hrafnabjorg. This was our second stay at this particular home. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, it was fun to have a hot tub to relax in each night and the views of the fjord and Akureyri are spectacular. We were 3 adults & 2 kids. We highly recommend it!

Amazing property!!!!

If you are on the fence about booking this property or think that it is fake or too good to be true you are wrong. It is absolutely fantastic!!! One of the best places we’ve stayed in our travels. The views are epic, especially if you are there in the winter and see the northern lights from the windows or the hot tub. It is quiet, private, great location to Akrueyri, the diamond circle, Húsavík and so many other places in the north. We loved the heated floors, the hot tub, the steam room, the automatic window shades, the tub, just everything about the house is top notch. So, book it now :)

Das Haus, die Lage, die Aussicht, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Bewertung: 15 von 10Polarlichter an 5 von 6 Tagen über dem Haus, und in fast allen Richtungen vom Garten aus zu sehen, sogar vom Wohnzimmer, roter Sessel. Der Platz um Polarlichter zu sehen.

Villa mit Traumblick und Ausstattung

Wir wollten uns als Familie (3 erwachsene Kinder) etwas Besonderes gönnen und gemeinsam die Nordlichter und den Isländischen Winter erleben.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Nordlichter aus dem Hot Pool beobachten zu können, ist schon einzigartig.Die Ausstattung ist gehoben, das Raumgefühl / Design hervorragend und die Aussicht wunderschön.Organisatorisch hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Gerne wieder!
